  1. Hey Benji, I can get you Koffing, Slakoth, Baltoy, Turtwig, Piplup, Tepig, Oshawott and Bouffalant when I get home in a couple of hours. I'm really only looking for the event legendaries to fill up the Pokedex if you have any, which I'd trade back after. Sousa I have a Darumaka too. My Friend Code is 4742-6408-4241
  2. I saw Jack White at Brixton Academy too and really enjoyed it. That was my first time seeing him live and going to Brixton Academy, so I was willing to overlook the sound being a little off and the setlist missing some of my favourites of his. I'd really like to see him with the female band too, hopefully a full UK tour is a possibility. Unfortunately the setlist for last night at Hammersmith Apollo looked a lot better, really disappointed I missed out on tickets for that. I managed to get a few photos too, initially I was told to stop when I took one of First Aid Kit, but it became too busy for the staff to bother. I'm sure they were more concerned with people smoking inside too. Here's one of the photos I got, spoilered for size.
  3. Me and some friends have already agreed to go regardless of the line-up. I think there's about eight of us going, so I'm sure I'll have a good time even if there aren't many bands I'd like to see. Kasabian, Foo Fighters and Green Day are the strongest main stage headliner rumours I've heard/ read. I've also seen The Black Keys, Two Door Cinema Club, The Maccabees and Foster the People mentioned as strong possibilities. I'd really like to see the Cure and At the Drive- In somewhere on the bill. I'd imagine the Cure would probably headline the main stage so it's really unlikely, but I could see ATD-I headlining the NME stage, so hopefully that's more likely. I've already seen the Black Keys this year, and will be seeing Noel Gallaher and the Stone Roses before Leeds. I'd really like to see the Black Keys again, but given the money I've spent on the other two tickets I'd be disappointed to see them announced.
  4. Sorry to bump the topic, but I was wondering if anyone on here has been to the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh for a gig before? I'm thinking of going in February to see the Black Keys and was wondering what it's like.
  5. I was really close to putting Lauryn Hill as my #10, but I couldn't justify it after leaving out Snoop, Talib, Common, KRS- One and then have to cut Method Man too. The list came out pretty decent, I would have guessed Kanye, Jay Z or Eminem to win it anyway, so although I don't agree with it as such I understand. I'm really glad Black Thought made the list at any number though; whenever I talk to anyone I know about hip hop the Roots is always the group I get the most blank faces on. Admittedly the interest in hip hop in the North East of England isn't sky high, but people should really know who the Roots are.
  6. 1. Andre 3000 2. Black Thought 3. Notorious B.I.G 4. Nas 5. Big Boi 6. Busta Rhymes 7. Guru 8. Dr. Dre 9. Mos Def 10. Method Man
  7. Only 6m for Enrique? We paid that for him, surely with the kind of money Liverpool are throwing about we could get more too. I remember Pardew saying in an interview that the Carrol money has gone back into the club, having been used to pay wages and agent fees etc.
  8. I can't remember the name of the site, but I got an England shirt from somewhere similar out of curiosity. Everything cost the same as it does on that site so if it wasn't the same site they were probably linked. I didn't have any problems with ordering it. The shirt was quite good, if a bit smaller fitting than the official ones. The only way I could really tell the difference was if the shirt was inside out. I'd like the new AC Milan home shirt, so I might consider getting it from there at some point.
  9. How about League and FA Cup winners vs. Rest of the League? League and FA Cup winners have 9 players each while the Rest of the League team is made up of a player from each club?

  11. A bad picture of Newcastle's yet unconfirmed officially away shirt.
  12. Did we lose interest in a challenge of some sort? I don't have much to do for about 2 months so I'd like to start something interesting on FM.
  13. I'd be up for some sort of challenge, as the Europa League has once again killed my interest in my Forest game. How about a journeyman game where we all start at the same team and see where we end up? We could add rules like having to accept any job offer you get, not being able to move to a team in the same league as your current one etc.
  14. Demba Ba to Newcastle in the next 24 hours, according to BBC. Haven't really took much notice of him in all honesty, so I'm not sure how good he is. But hey, he's 26 and he's on a free (I think?), so it's another player we can turn around for a profit.
