  1. i just like to see them win games and see what happens Another factor with Salah is that he was coming back from injury during Ramadan. Fasting can't help him be at his best when he's also trying to get back to 100% match sharpness.
  2. VVD smells so nice that it made Troy Deeney lose his mind
  3. Virgil Van Dijk famously smells really nice and they do a lot of ads for Nivea and stuff so I imagine they do wash regularly
  4. this feels like some kind of MLM rather than a football team
  5. The injury earlier this year is probably still affecting him in some way Liverpool are in a place where there's a number of key players coming back from injury just a little too late and the second choice players are flagging
  6. How many episodes of Tv could we get out of Graeme Souness managing in Turkey?
  7. if only football didnt start in 1992. Then we could get something about Liverpool and Everton in the 1980s.
  8. every time I hear/see his name I think of Carlton Palmer
  9. at the same time Liverpool are one of the highest scoring teams in Europe Can't be both bad at scoring goals and also score a lot of goals. But you can run out of steam a bit, have one too many players injured/coming back from injury and find yourself overly relying on players who weren't meant to be relied upon this much (Kelleher, Endo, Bradley, Quansah).
  10. Up to recently, Liverpool's greatest strength had been their 2nd choice and youth players coming up with the goods. Now it seems that they've gone to that well one too many times and the first-team regulars who are coming back just aren't sharp enough themselves. It is a shame but at the same time, Liverpool were playing kids and relying on more inexperience than experience for weeks. That may be the league gone for Liverpool. It's not unlikely that City and Arsenal both have off days but it looks like Liverpool ran out of steam too early.
  11. I didn't see the game but the most level headed comments I saw to the Liverpool result were that Atalanta were good, Liverpool weren't and the team selection was a risk that didn't pay off. Its unfortunate. But Jota is back, Trent was on the bench and it looks like Alisson is on his way back too. I'd prefer to have lost 3-0 away but last time Liverpool played Atalanta was in the champions league and they lost 2-0 at home but they won 5-0 away. The caveat being that it was 2020 but shows its not impossible for Liverpool to go there and score 3 at least.
  12. I suppose its representative of the present field when it comes to available managers. I know next to nothing about him. It's probably a better option than Alonso or De Zerbi in that he's presently managing one of the biggest clubs in Portugal, in a city with two big clubs, and could very well go out having won them two league titles. I can't remember if it was Edwards or Julian Ward who were big into Portuguese football but it also tracks with Liverpool's recent frequent forays into buying from that league.
  13. Liverpool weren't clinical enough for the second time in a month against United and it cost them.
  14. particularly how other Brighton midfielders went for vs him Endo has been the real revelation.
