  1. Past hour
  2. Only downside is I have to listen to the ESPN dorks instead of my home announce team But still Cubbie Baseball is on the air!
  3. Today
  4. Ok I've changed my mind I like the new guy Get back to me in 5 years when we inevitably trade him for nothing though
  5. The extra place for the IPP player on the Practice Squad makes it a no-brainer to give him a chance, really. There's no risk involved.
  6. One or two more events and bringing back the old event-specific music will do for me. Anything else is a bonus.
  7. Because I've played maybe 10% of Yakuza 0 and none of any of the others. 😬 I love what I've seen of the turn-based combat in the latest game(s) though. I will continue to crawl through 0 but given that it only comes out when I'm between new games and I am compelled to focus on side activities anyway, it'll probably take another year to get through.
  8. It's kind of a shame that they're going back to Sheffield Arena because it's lack of size really limits some of the events, but I guess it's cheaper than a bigger arena. They've made the contender application more public this year as well, which should open up more places for people outside of the M1 corridor and Ireland. I just hope they get a few more episodes so they can do away with the constant need for fastest losers.
  9. I love 0, but Like A Dragon is probably my favourite, I think I just prefer the turn-based combat in general. I'm enjoying Infinite Wealth as well, but I'm taking my time with it because I want to keep it going as long as possible. It's quite a gulf between my feelings for the games using the Dragon engine and the middle games that don't. 3 in particular I found very jarring after playing Kiwami 2, and 5 just goes on, and on, and on without really achieving much story-wise. Then back to 6 with the Dragon engine and I'm in love again.
  10. What is your favourite Yakuza game and why is it Yakuza 0?
  11. Chocobo and Dio, plus a few boosting cards. I also have King Tonberry and the Death Rider(that destroys 4 squares) and a couple of archdragons.
  12. Yeah, a guy who I don’t remember. Was a firefighter I believe, his introduction made it look like him going was a surprise. Theres also someone who said they’re in WWE
  13. Thankfully, the answer is yes. A second series was announced for next year, with filming once again taking place at the Sheffield Arena.
  14. Important announcement: I am seated for a Major League Baseball regular season game. Baseball is back!!!
  15. Any of the people from the first season competing again?
  16. What is everyone's deck strategy? Mine is to get Midgarsomar on the board and just kill all units (mine and enemies) without remorse.
  17. I think the problem is if you do everything then you'll just get all these great cards (like you can clean up with adding top cards at the Gold Saucer). If you just play QB with the store bought decks and cards you win from the opponents it is likely a lot more balanced.
  18. i've probably started about six shows since finishing Slow Horses, and everything I watch I just think... 'man, this is much worse than slow horses'. The only thing that's hitting is the new series of Resident Alien which bangs.
  19. Unfortunately, bringing Tottenham down would have required me to invent a way to turn their trophy haul into negative figures, and I'm not sure the laws of physics accommodate such things.
  20. Missed opportunity, could have done a Pochettino and brought them down from the inside.
  21. Once upon a time LinkedIn suggested I might be interested in working for Tottenham Hotspur and it's been dead to me ever since.
  22. @stokeriño I did recently see a LinkedIn post that Chelsea are looking for a new Head of Performance Medicine, so hopefully they'll finally sort it out.
