  1. I took out a small loan to get a gaming laptop. Really looking forward to it arriving this afternoon. I've always wanted a laptop/desktop capable of running games. The ability to easily move it between places made me lean towards the laptop. I used CDKeys to buy Wreckfest for around 12 quid the other day, so I'll be installing that ASAP, as well as FM2020 as part of Game Pass. One little bonus was that I had an email from Intel, giving me RDR2 for free because of my purchase. Although I'm in no rush to install that, as I've already played it, and if I did play it online, would more

  2. I don't think Ronaldo should be on that list. He's on it because of the career he went on to have. He had two amazing seasons at United but he also had formative time where he was a lightweight showpony and then he left at 24. Just because he went on to be one of the greatest players ever doesn't mean that should factor into it. Van Nistelrooy got shafted and if you're putting Ronaldo in then Luis Suarez certainly requires picking too as his years match up pretty closely to Ronaldo's best 4.

  4. Van Nistelrooy feels like the biggest omission from this top 10, for me. It might just be another example of the impression that early 00s Man Utd had on me, but the man scored 20+ goals in 4 out of his 5 seasons in English football and he played less than half a season's worth of games in the one season he didn't. As an example, without his goals in the 01/02 and 02/03 seasons, Utd would've finished 6th and 4th instead of 3rd and 1st.

  5. Ten years ago today, Greg Jennings put the team on his back and scored a 99 yard touchdown against the Saints despite having a broken leg.

  6. David Silva is one of the best players to ever play in the Premier League and has had a big hand in all of Man City's big successes of the modern era. He is easily a Top 5 candidate for this in my opinion.

  11. Got KK Slider to come to my village. Now I am going to spruce my village up. Given the 10 villagers only, my goal is to make a central hub where all the villagers live and it is a sort of metropolis space with lots of flowers and fences and trinkets and to have water separating into the wilderness areas. I need oranges and pears!

  16. I just finished a 10 year challenge as Portsmouth on FM12 (starting bottom of the Championship on -10pts due to administration) where I won the Premier League on the final day of the 10th season, despite losing 4-3 to Everton, because Chelsea lost 2-1 against Swansea. It looks like I get to end the save by taking England into the 2021 Confederations Cup after they won the 2018 World Cup under Alan Curbishley, who subsequently resigned for some reason.

  18. I made the error of having a slightly dissenting view on twitter ("I'd like the fit and proper persons test to be fit for purpose") and ended up muting it due to the number of "you don't have to go, I'll have your ticket" etc. What I will say is that years of Ashley have shown that Twitter doesn't equal matchgoing fans, but it's not pleasant. I do take issue though at longstanding journos getting angry at our fans and suggesting we should be fighting back having spent the last decade mocking any attempt to unite against Ashley. They of all people know full well we've got no power wha

  19. Something feels wrong about calling Keane an import. Like I get that he's Irish but he played less than 25 games before coming over.
