  1. What's up buddy. How you been?

  2. Hmmm. Now that I have this, I can throw away my Facebook.

  3. Well, I'm going to be watching it it just a few hours. I will give a full report.
  4. I don't know Must've been BAD TELEVISION - even the producers knew it by the title.
  5. Well then. That's pretty self explanatory of a topic title and a topic description? My favourites in this order is. 1. Bison 2. Vega 3. Blanka My username is ExciteBikeMike As the Sandman would say: "Let's Dance!" Edit: this is for SUPER Street Fighter IV
  6. A Netherlands win would be nice for our coach....Spain is a good team, but not good enough. I'm going to give it a great shot!
  7. Here's part of the lyrical chorus masterpeice "Burn them , burn them at the fucking stake. Drown them, drown them in the fucking lake."
  8. Who is this band playing? http://www.youtube.c...h?v=oTttz245iLA Not much of a pit for this crowd...take a look at the ladies. Scrumcious!
  9. Yea he's awkward but it's a natural kind of comedic awkward. I thought the first show was ok - but it's clear that he's been practicing for this his entire career. Not sure how familiar you lot are with his SNL stuff, but when he did weekend update, he would do all of those 'late night talk show hosts' mannerisms (the pen throwing ala Letterman, Conan mannerisms)... Plus that whole SNL crew is very close to Conan and the Late night slot (both literally re: studios being in such close proximity to each other, and relationship wise - as we know, Conan was an SNL writer). I like Conan, it just sucks that he's going to be in Hollywood. Hope he doesn't change! Fallon will be fine. Slow jammin is cool - but not original. Haven't watched his 2nd show yet. Say hallelujah for TIVO.

  11. Here's a couple classic and essential heavy metal albums: Dio - Holy Diver Iron Maiden - The Number of the Beast Black Sabbath - Paranoid Guns'n'Roses - Appetite For Destruction Slayer - Reign in Blood Judas Priest - British Steel My personal favourite albums from 90's and beyond: Savatage - The Wake of Magellan Blind Guardian - Imaginations from the Other Side Valley's Eve - Deception of Pain Axxis - Back to the Kingdom Nightwish - Once Pink Cream 69 - Sonic Dynamite Iced Earth - Night of the Stormrider Well, you're not doing yourself any favours with that Death Magnetic crap. Granted it's a passable record, but if you want Metallica you need, Ride The Lighting, Kill em All, and Master Of Puppets That's a pretty fine list above -here are some others. Not neccessarly all "classics", but they are good albums...classic or current. Blind Guardian - Nightfall On Middle Earth (my first BG album, actually, followed by...of course, follow the blind..ya follow) Vanden Plas (Spirt Of Live, BE DVD) Devin Townsend - Terria (sp) Cult Of Luna - any album Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power Hammerfall - Glory To Brave (If you want to laugh at cheesy 80s metal that was made in the 90s and 2000s) Ozzy - The Ozman Cometh (a good mix of Ozzy songs - Mr. Crowly, Paranoid etc) Savatage - Dead Winter Dead, Handful Of Rain Aerosmith - (just up to the point he starting cryin' ) Thrice - Identiy Crises - Their first album on Hopefull Record. They were punk a metal overtone. I think they are not more punk/emo. Judas Priest - Sad Wings Of Destiny - THE RIPPER!
  12. Midget's right. This release will never EVER actually come out. I love Bach..great guy...great artist, but he his words means zero, zilch, zippo, nada, nadie, cero. Sad reality. :ohwell:
  13. Hello and holler there. Ok so I thought I knew where to find video game info easily ... but I don't. Can anyone give me a website or websites that show what (home video game specifically ) are selling for XXX week. i.e I'm trying to find any site that has a ranking of this week's top 10 game sales, or last weeks...or the most up to date. Couldn't find it on gamespot or by googling....do they just don't make this information available....or easy to google? merci in advance
  14. The diving is just too much.
  15. I'm suprised that no one has mentioned Tomahawk yet...too 'metal'? Faith no More was great, and incredibly unique, especially for it's time. It was for fans of rock, metal, alternative, and experimental -- and not too many people can do that. If we're talking Faith No More as a whole, let's not forget about Secret Cheifs (Yes, yes, no Patton). That's a little TOO out there for alot of people but I did it. It's like middle eastern music...but, not too middle eastern if you can understand that. Best album a cross between Angel Dust and King for a Day... for me. I love angel dust, don't get me wrong, but King For a Day was far more upbeat and diversified. Again, I can't really pick an absolute number one out of these two. Both have ALOT of things going for them. I can't get into Fantamos, but I appreciate what he does there. Peeping Tom I think is OK. Not bad...different. Many elements of FNM. FNM > Tomahawk > Mr. Bungle > Secret Cheifs/Melvins > everything else. Funny, a few minutes before seeing this thread, I stumbled on a peeping tom review. Enjoy http://www.getunderground.com/underground/...m?Review_ID=374
  16. Ah, and that shows you just how much I love TV.
  17. I find your first point odd because Emperor are a niche band as well. My point still is that they're pretty much equal in musical achievements in my opinion, but Mayhem would have the benefit of kickstarting a whole genre of music (a genre which I'd argue to be one of the biggest and healthiest of extreme metal genres today. Certainly more than any form of grind or doom metal). And to the second point, I heartily agree. Though in the same vein, the most well-known bands aren't always shit either (this seems to be the viewpoint of several metal elitists I know, and a sentiment which I heartily despise). Dammit, we need a proper extreme metal thread once again
  18. ON the subject of Devin Townsend, Physicist is quite good as well. I saw him about a month or so ago. Amazing as always. Ocean Machine is first, is a little different, but really great. On SYL, 'City' is also quite a good album.
