  1. I'd be glad about missing out on Gordon and getting Carson on loan if I was a Villa fan. I just don't think anyone should pay that much for a goalkeeper, unless you're buying a Buffon, Casillas or Cech. They're just too hit and miss. They could go out of form too easily. Barthez was classed as one of the best if not the best keeper in the world when Man Utd signed him, but he wasn't so great. Keep in mind, I haven't even seen Gordon play. So if he's a Buffon/Casillas/Cech, disregard my post. I could easily be wrong and he could be awesome, I just view it as a risk to spend that much.
  2. Not starting a new thread for this but why have Sky Sports News replaced their old music with the Reqiuem For A Dream song? It's awful and out of place.
  3. It did at least say second quarter of the 2008 fiscal year, which means it'll come out in either May, June or July. Either way, along with Manhunt, FM and Pro Evo, GTA is one of the few games I play and am therefore very upset.
  4. Newcastle. It probably is because I've won stuff, but only some players start wanting new challenges, one of which is a regen whose been with Newcastle his entire career, having been a youth player a few years ago. I'm actually starting to think that all players will eventually want a new challenge except those who have Newcastle as their favoured club.
  5. I don't think so. I'm the best club in the world and one of the players that wants to leave right now has 5 ambition. Edit: His personality is resolute though. What's that mean?
  6. Does anyone know what stat makes a player want a new challenge? All of a sudden I've had like 5 players wanting a new challenge and they've all been here for at least about 4-5 years. The only trend I can see between them is that they all have 12 or under Loyalty.
  7. I agree with most that Birmingham, Derby and Wigan will be going down. I also agree that Fulham, Middlesbrough, Bolton, Sunderland and Reading will finish in the bottom half. Unfortunately I think Chelsea will win. Man Utd 2nd, Liverpool 3rd, Arsenal 4th. Tottenham, Everton and Newcastle to finish in some order behind them at 5th-7th, followed by Portsmouth and Blackburn in some order at 8th and 9th. Villa, West Ham and Man City to finish in some order 10th-12th. I know I'm being general but I see so little difference between some of the teams that I think it'd be pointless placing exactly where they'd finish.
  8. I have 20+ feeder clubs and always apply as soon as my board lets me. It's nearly 2015, and I still have just one "financial feeder club", and am yet to get a Belgian or Polish club to use for work permits. I have loads of shitty Middle Eastern sides that never get youngsters. Also, at 38 or 39, I'm still yet to see my son appear for me.

  10. For the record, I vote AD.
  11. Does anyone know if it's possible for the user to gain favoured personnel and clubs? Obviously there's the team you pick at the start but is that it? Also, can clubs start listing you as their favoured personnel? I know players can but haven't seen it with clubs.
  12. Which BB is better, then?
