  1. 8th Doctor appears for a split second
  2. He was already dead by the time Rick decided to do that. He just made good of a bad situation.
  3. I think this weeks episode was actually worse. They were flip flopping on whether Daleks had emotion the whole episode.
  4. If someone wished to start at Season 5, I would advise them to also look at "Blink" from S3 and "Silence in the Library" from S4. "Blink" will give you a good reference point for an enemy that is used a few times in S5 and S6 and "Silence in the Library" is where River Song is first met and is quite crucial if you want to know what the hell is going on with her storyline.
  5. If that dynamic crowd chanting leads to a Daniel Bryan match filled with "YES!" chants then it's worth the buy right there. Also, aren't the Spectacular Moments just a new name for Environmental Damage?
  6. This is the first Steam Sale I participated in. I think I got a pretty good haul. The Orange Box, The Walking Dead, Back to the Future and KOTOR. I think it came to a total of around $50. I've never smiled at a game before but the whole opening of the BTTF game had me grinning ear to ear. Walking Dead is pretty great too after you adjust to how the controls work. KOTOR is KOTOR. Amazing as always. I haven't had a change to get to The Orange Box yet but those are classic games so I'll get to those when I can.

    Ted

It was much funnier than I expected. I'd go watch it.
  8. Loved the movie. Again though, like my complaint with the trailer, I felt that all the speech was muffled. Maybe I'm just going deaf or something but everyone was either muffled (Bane/Batman) or always speaking hushed (Catwoman/Gordon/Wayne). The only person I heard clearly the whole time was Blake. I was able to piece together the movie as I watched it but I'm going to have to watch it again on DVD with subtitles to understand everything that was being said.
  9. Agreed. Except the part where a fan of the character who OMG LOVES HIM SO MUCH agreed to play that butchered bastardization of the character is his fault? Someone was gonna do it either way. Might as well be the one to pick up the cash for it, I guess. I dunno. I liked him at the start. I mostly blanked out the rest of that film. I'm about 90% sure that it wasn't Reynolds acting once he became Weapon XI. So if you want to be pedantic, Reynolds only took on the better 3/4 of the role.
  10. To anyone that likes comics but only likes collected issues plus never knows where to start (like myself), Marvel are doing a newsagent series that collects some of the greater stories in hardback volumes. The first issue is The Amazing Spider-man: Coming Home arc with Issue two being the Dark Phoenix arc from Uncanny X-Men and Iron Man: Extremis for the third issue. According to the TV spot on the website, it looks like there will be roughly 60 volumes. http://www.graphicnovelcollection.com/
  11. Maybe. But there is precedent that he was in a video game.

  13. It sounds like something Disney would slip into the background.
  14. Star Wars is a series that even people who haven't seen a sci-fi movie before will know of. The Avengers has become the third highest grossing movie ever, with a hardcore fan audience that would go see the 3 hour director's cut on the big screen. It's pure fan service. Also your reasoning for not seeing an American remake of a foreign film with different actors just because they were both released close together is ridiculous.
  15. 1) Alison Bree - Because God Damn.... 2) Kristen Stewart - She's been tainted by Twilight but since I don't judge people by their roles in movies I think she's absolutely wonderful. 3) Anne Hathaway - Nearly forgot about her but recently saw TDKR trailer. 4) Kat Dennings - I don't really know why. 5) Karen Gillian - She has legs that end at her shoulders. 6) Emma Watson - Always had a crush on her. 7) Ronda Rousey - Exactly the same response as Be. 8) Taylor Momsen - I don't know why. It's weird thinking she was the girl from The Grinch but she's grown up quite nicely. 9) Scarlet Johansson - I hate her acting but she's hot so whatever. 10) Christina Hendricks - Because boobs. EDIT: Forgot Kat Dennings and Karen Gillian. They both replaced Felicia Day and AJ Lee. Beauty beats nerdom for me in this poll.
  16. I saw it more as him liking the independent and determined Megan over the one who just wants to get on TV and will try anything to get it.
  17. MIB3. Inoffensive and nostalgically funny but nothing amazing. Brolin did an amazing job of mimicking Tommy Lee Jones. I'm sure if I saw this as a kid, and not with a rose tinted memory of the first two, I would have loved this film.
  18. It's interesting that Don is essentially repeating his life from his first marriage. He meets the model when he's at the bottom of the firm (with Megan it was as a new firm), they have a happy start where Don feels like he's started anew, business picks up with the firm, he gives his wife what she wants and suddenly he feels incomplete again, reverting to his promiscuous ways. Man, I love this show.
  19. Ho. ly. Shit. Seriously had my hand over my mouth the whole third act. Jeez that was brutal.
  20. That's brilliant. I hope that's true. I really do.
  21. I hate that these awesome packages aren't available for plain old DVD anymore. Oh well, I'll just buy Avengers to complete my miserable DVD collection.
  22. I actually enjoyed Season 6 and hated Season 3. I was ready to give up after the whole Miguel thing as that bored me to tears but the fourth season brought me back in.
