  1. One of the companies responsible for producing Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits is bringing a new festival to Arkansas, called FORMAT. (btw, that's a different Nick Cave than the one you're probably thinking of)
  2. I recognize Hellhammer and that's it. Just going off that I'm assuming black metal band but I'm not versed enough to know which one if it isn't Mayhem (and it isn't Mayhem).
  3. If you've listened to metal extensively or been around metalheads you've probably heard of them/heard people talk about Soulfly, or Sepultura, or Cavalera Conspiracy, etc. etc. and just kinda learned the name through osmosis I would guess. I need to go listen to Sepultura now.
  4. That's my response to this. I imagine the core elements aren't going to change (Dracthyr, Dragonriding, etc) but I always wonder during these expansion reveals how many of the systems and ideas Blizzard says are coming won't see the light of day. It's also kinda funny (and sadly expected, given the lawsuits etc.) that a lot of the changes they're promising are things players have complained about or pointed out as flawed system for quite some time now. Professions should have been revamped ages ago and people have been calling for it for quite some time. And, true to Blizzard, none of them will admit that negative player feedback has anything to do with any revamps or anything, it's always "internally, we came to the conclusion that..." BS. Like oh, really? Take the Covenant system for example -- people hated it since the Shadowlands Alpha! and Blizzard stuck by it up until they didn't at the end of the expansion and went "after testing it, we've decided the system was flawed". You think?! Dracthyr sound neat but Dragonriding sounds like a ballache. The last thing I want from flying is "let's make mini-games out of it", but that's just me. All in all, it seems like it could be a neat expansion, but a flashy cinematic and dangling a bunch of carrots in front of me ain't getting me to come back. Maybe further down the line, after the expansion's been released, patched, and the fuckfaces like Kotick are well and truly gone, I might try it. But it isn't a launch day buy for me, which is a first ever since I got into WoW back with Burning Crusade.
  5. The one I posted above should be fairly easy to guess (well, maybe) just based on the first band member. Narrows it down quite a bit I think.
  6. Sneak peek clip ahead of the premiere:
  7. I didn't realize it while watching her set but Megan Thee Stallion performed some of a new song at Coachella!
  8. Kenji is great. He can make some spectacular food but then he also has shit like this on his channel:
  9. This is not a surprising spoiler but (season 6 cast)
  10. oh hey, this is on sale on Steam for $44.99 until April 22nd. Or you can get the nWo edition for $89.99 (down from $120).
  11. My friend's band is opening for Eyehategod next Saturday. Real tempted to finagle a ride to that one, not just because it's Eyehategod, but because I haven't seen my friend in years and years now and I've never got to catch her band live.
  12. Shane McMahon's oldest son, Declan, has committed to Indiana University.
  13. Did I spot a brief glimpse of a zombie near the end of this?
  14. Possible Echo spoilers, one of the costume designers listed
  15. Korn and Evanescence are going on tour
