Oh yesterday's episode immediately became one of my favorites. As for other shows, Make Some Noise is great, Very Important People is a great showcase of how good an improviser Vic Michaelis is, and I'm excited for their new show Smarty Pants Society this week.

Game Changer is always a delightful show, and sometimes it descends into chaotic brilliance.

It makes me very happy to see teams making good, sane choices with their jerseys this time around. Jets took way too long to make the most screamingly obvious move possible, but at least they did it. Lions? Dropping the terrible number font and it's gray color scheme. Broncos, while they should be going with the classic look instead, at least the changes they are making to the modern sets are subtle and look decent. Well, besides the dumb triangles, but those are tiny. Waiting to see what the Texans do. The leaks have some poor choices, but didn't look out and out terrible like Atlanta or Arizona's recent efforts.

It looks like MLB just forced the Mets to adopt the City Connect they had planned for the Yankees.

I just can't imagine getting remotely worked up about the game giving people the option to buy items you can find in game, extremely easily, for free. This is nothing compared to the money grubbing capitalistic hellscape that is NBA2K

I’m having a blast with it. On console so I can’t speak for PC performance issues but it’s running fine for me. Can’t believe how overblown the criticisms of microtransactions in it are; literally only selling stuff that can be easily acquired in game. It’s not pushed in the game itself at all, it’s only stuff available on the PlayStation store. Combat is so much fun. With the thief you can throw a rope at enemies and pull them towards you. While they are flying through the air, an archer in your party might shoot them, or if you pull them past a warrior, he’ll just swing his sword and kill them as they pass by. You can also just pick up smaller enemies and chuck them at other enemies, or walls, or into the water.

Got it downloaded and eagerly awaiting tomorrow night.

It feels like I haven't actually played The Show since like 2021, so I want to try and give this year's a go, but damn if I'm not bogged down with a lot of other games already, with more right around the corner.

Thanks, I hate it. Worst kind of remake that just goes for a soulless paint by numbers approach. While obviously you can't match what Proyas did and shouldn't try to replicate it, you can't just strip all of that out and go for the most bland "action movie but sPooOky" approach either. I'm immediately reminded of the completely forgotten Total Recall remake with Collin Ferrel. Took out all the strange and interesting stuff from the original and just made a hyper sanitized version of it.
