  1. I couldn't handle the Lakers winning...please stop them, other team I don't really care about!

  2. The voice was perfect in Begins but yeah, it got out of hand in TDK.
  3. I think after his Heath Ledger idea, I should hope they'll let him do whatever he wants with his cast.
  4. That's a good point, I didn't think about that.
  5. This. This is exactly why I don't want him in this. That's right! I was trying to remember another "dream casting" my friends and I thought of besides Hoffman as The Penguin and this is it. I would love this casting.
  6. Am I alone in hoping that Johnny Depp stays far, far away from this movie?
  7. I would love to see Philip Seymour Hoffman play The Penguin. I know it's highly unlikely that The Penguin will be in the next movie, but nothing would make me happier for the 3rd movie. Well maybe something I haven't thought of yet could make me happier, but you know what I mean. Truthfully, nearly anything will satisfy me with this movie.
  8. Very sad to see Black Dynamite that low You guys need to see it!
  9. 1. Inglourious Basterds 2. Watchmen 3. Funny People 4. Up In The Air 5. Black Dynamite 6. Pirate Radio/The Boat That Rocked 7. The Hangover 8. Zombieland 9. Star Trek 10. Crazy Heart Edit: Added Funny People. Forgot that it came out last year.
  10. Calling it now - next week will be a Terrence and Philip episode.
  11. Picking just one is damn near impossible...so here's a list of my favorite tracks: (Aside from the obvious 'Heroes', Ziggy, Starman, Life On Mars?, Under Pressure, Space Oddity, Ashes To Ashes, etc.) In No Order: Seven Years In Tibet Seven Days Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) Cracked Actor Queen Bitch Bring Me The Disco King New Killer Star Young Americans Fantastic Voyage Fame Fashion Sunday China Girl Sound And Vision I'm Afraid Of Americans (I was SO happy when I got to see NIN play this in Chicago last May) ...You know, this could actually go on for quite some time, so I'll just cut it now.
  12. Personally, my favorite NCatBS album(s) is "Abattoir Blues and The Lyre Of Orpheus" with "Dig Lazarus Dig" in second. "Murder Ballads" is truly amazing, but I really disagree that it's a good starting point. I'd say "Let Love In" or "Abattoir Blues and The Lyre Of Orpheus" might be the best place to start.

  14. I will run over...6. All while listening to "Big In Japan" by Tom Waits in tribute to Kou.
  15. My Amazon pre-order should arrive tomorrow, despite saying it should arrive May 1st. It's about 100 miles(give or take) away from me, and there's no way it should get here on May 1st. :) :)
  16. Sadly, I believe you're right...but, (because I'm an optimist) look at the open dates around Minneapolis/Canada/Chicago...I know they always come here, and I'm dying to finally see them, haha.
  17. The Spiral isn't coming back. I strongly doubt it's going to be another Ghosts, and it's definately not Year Zero II. I'm 98% going to be a new EP. Pictures of Josh Freese with a mic'd up drum kit was posted on the site, along with the live band talking in a studio. Also, he said more tour devlopments. Like a Wisconsin date, hopefully.
  18. That was a single. The orignial version of the song wasn't. Speaking of which... A Perfect Circle - "Pet" Also: Nine Inch Nails - Somewhat Damaged Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds - Red Right Hand (became their most well known song, anyways...over here, at least) Tool - Jambi You May Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire - Queens Of The Stone Age Red Hot Chili Peppers - Readymade
  19. Curses. I was hoping the point of this thread was just to come in here and say what we want about Phil Collins.
  20. Stewie: Maybe we could light up a doobie and watch porn. Peter: ...Y-Yeah?
  21. Seasons...4(?)-current have "commentary mini's" where Matt and Trey talk for 2 to 6 minutes about the episode. It's pretty interesting/funny stuff.
  22. Monkey Island. (PC) Toejam and Earl. (Sega Genesis) I spent A LOT of time playing Michael Jordan: Chaos In The Windy City, that game was awesome. I also owned Shaq-Fu. But it was fun at the time. I miss those old games. I still have my original Monkey Island ROM CD, so I can play that whenever I choose. I have Toejam and Earl on my Wii. But, fuck, I REALLY miss the Michael Jordan game, haha.
  23. I was kind of let down by the movie. It had very funny parts, but I just didn't get in to it like I did his other movies. I still haven't seen Blades Of Glory, I'm going to see that as soon as possible.
