  1. No no no PROVIDENCE. Edit: nevermind. darn you Cooley.
  2. 58 seconds.... I'm glad he didn't come to Boston
  3. I played the warriors so much. I had no idea about the movie at the time, after playing through I watched the movie. Then went back and played it through another half dozen times. Game ended up lost in a move, so sad.
  4. I'm not sure if I'm surprised or not, but the EWD-EWR-TEW series has literally been one of the few games I've played consistently over the past 17 years. Crusader Kings I/II is a close second but nothing has ever kept me coming back as much as EWD-EWR-TEW. Of course, I might just be addicted.... One of the best console games I ever played would be GTA3. It was so different, so new. VC/SA/4/5 was better but being 12 and loading GTA3 and just going through the story that first time was so epic. I played through it on Thanksgiving Weekend, slept like 3 hours each night and had it beat (not 100%, but beat) by Sunday night. Nowadays, it takes me about 10 hours just to learn the controls of a game... :/
  5. Seriously check it out. The four player is team based so brings a different challenge. I haven't played 3 player yet (planning on it tonight with Mrs/Niece) but it is great. The gods change thing up as well, as each game becomes different.
  6. For you Resistance fans, check out Secret Hitler. I find it much better designed for groups, especially groups that have no creativity (aka most of my group). Has anyone tried Santorini yet? I bought it a month ago and its been on the table quite a bit lately, mainly because the 2 player option is great for my wife and I. One of my favorite games that have come out this year. (so far)
  7. I find alot of his playing ability to be a result of his teammates and circumstances moreso than his own skill. Of course, I am more blinded by his trash talking of Paul Pierce right now than anything, but even without the trash talking I'd still feel the same way, just less so.
  8. Is Draymond Green the biggest tool in the NBA right now? Or maybe the most relevant? The guy just keeps trash talking Paul Pierce who now, in what is his last year in the league, is still a better player than Green and when he was in his prime was a perennial all star who helped lead the Celtics to an ECF with ANTOINE WALKER. Draymond Green couldn't even lead a team to a 9th place finish. Does this dude forget that his teammates win the games and he just stands there like a fool kicking nuts? Sorry... Celtics fan. Love the Truth. Upset that it's another year the Cs didn't do anything at the deadline and won't do anything in the offseason. And yes I saw people saying sit on the pick, except for the fact that pick isn't going to help the Cs. At all. Unless we get some big in return...
  9. I'm on the Celtics subreddit and it's all "oh gotta trust danny though" UGH. Boston sports before Belichek was so much better. Now Belichek makes everyone think there's plans here for everyone and it's why guys like Claude got to stick around 4 extra years for the Bruins and why Danny's been riding the Big 3 trade for a decade now and no accountability. The Red Sox ownership however have no patience so it's always fun to know John Farrell is on the hot seat (especially as a Yankee fan).
  10. Meanwhile in Boston, Trader Danny is holding onto those Brooklyn picks like the kid in monopoly holds onto Broadway hoping Park Place will fall in his lap.
  11. If you come back, let me know!

  12. My sister owns a crapwawa... I think I'm going to be conned into seeing this...
  13. Food City 500 today. News of Notes: No qualifying, everyone was placed according to last year's owner's points. And it's the end of an era today as Dale Jarrett is running his last race. Here's hoping DJ wins today. Also of note, I usually watch at my cousin's house on DirecTV with their NASCAR plan so I get to avoid the FOX morons but he broke up with his girlfriend, who he lived with so no DirecTV in car specials. Instead, I get the Fox Morons and on top of it Darrell Waltrip, the only one who knows what he's saying, has a sore throat. Predictions for today's race? I just really hope Edwards doesn't win it this week. Cannot stand the guy.
  14. 1. Bob Dylan - Combined the great aspects of folk and rock and influenced guys like Hendrix and Clapton who would influence plenty of others. 2. Elvis Presley - Elvis brought black music to white culture. And he's Elvis. 3. The Supremes - No MoTown without the Supremes. 4. The Beatles - Top selling band of all time, brought British music to the states. 5. Queen - Greatest live performers of all time AND changed the modern musical landscape to incorporate a wide variety of music. 6. NWA - A real (popular) bridge from rap of the eighties and hardcore rap of the 90s. And look at what each went on to do. Cube went from fucking the police to children's movies and Dre produced some white boy's rap music 7. Led Zeppelin - The bridge between Classic Rock and Metal, Zeppelin made it possible for bands like Black Sabbath to experiement more and bring a harder noise to music. 8. Bill Haley and The Comets - The first innovators of Rock and Roll, come on! 9. The Sex Pistols - I hate most punk music, but I can't deny that the Sex Pistols influenced a bunch of Football Hooligans to pick up the guitar in Britian. 10. Robert Johnson/Miles Davis - A tie, if I'm allowed, to two guys who infleunced many modern musicians with their recordings. Edit: Added some reasons.
  15. 1. Robert DeNiro 2. Tom Hanks 3. Robin Williams 4. Will Smith 5. Nicholas Cage 6. Christopher Walken 7. Al Pacino 8. Morgan Freeman 9. Ed Norton 10. Steve Carrell
  16. 1. The Godfather II 2. The Wizard of Oz 3. It's a Wonderful Life 4. The Godfather 5. Star Wars: A New Hope 6. Dr. Strangelove 7. Full Metal Jacket 8. West Side Story 9. Birth of a Nation (I have a feeling I'll be one of the few to vote for this. I did a film project on racism and watched this. It's very well made, especially for it's time, and is a great insight into 1910s Racism. And if you can get over the fact it's extremely racist, it's a good plotline.) 10. M*A*S*H 11. Forrest Gump 12. The Deer Hunter 13. Rocky 14. Goodfellas 15. Duck Soup 16. La Vita è Bella 17. Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back 18. The Matrix 19. American History X 20. 300

Pfft. You all are druggies. Bones McCoy = Greatest Doctor Ever. And cmon people, SHATNER. SHATNER! The Original Series > Other Stuff.
  18. The post-Tyson one isn't as bad as people make it sound. It's the same game after all.. just a palette switch. But there is something awesome about KOing Tyson.
  19. And my bracket died and went to hell. I had a stroke on the left side of my body bracket when B.C. lost. Here's to UNC losing to Iowa St.
  20. Man. I should've used my bracket from real life. I am doing so much better. Which is good I guess.
  21. Duke wouldn't of lost. Louisville should've lost. Oh well, next round they get crushed by Georgia Tech. Other upsets I called: UAB. I also called New Mexico and LA-Laf but they both lost
  22. YES! YES! YES! SYRACUSE FALLS!
