  1. The song itself is ironic. Not sure that's how she intended it (likely not), but it's there.
  2. If we're trading Halladay, the best thing to do would be to ask prospective traders to take Wells too. The return would diminish, but it's our best chance to unload Wells' contract.
  3. George Carlin, Mitch Hedberg, Richard Pryor, Steven Wright, Bob Newhart, Redd Foxx... all fine comedians right there. I don't mind Dane Cook either. Also, call me crazy, but I like the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. Ron White's a bit hit-or-miss, but I think Larry the Cable Guy could be really funny if he wouldn't use that cacthphrase every two minutes, and both Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall are very good at what they do, especially Bill's "Here's Your Sign" bits.
  4. What's everyone think of Luongo to Vancouver? I think that it's a terrific upgrade, but not the one they needed to address urgently.
  5. I have Crosby fourth. 1) Ovechkin (and it isn't even close) 2) Phaneuf 3) Lundqvist 4) Crosby 5) Svatos
  6. Oh yeah, like how they handed them the last four wins. No, wait, that was Calgary, who got a free pass for all the hooking and holding they did. I mean, really. They hold the stick so often that Paris Hilton is getting jealous.
  7. What a fucking ripoff. The refs handed the Canucks the win. As usual.
  8. The Flames are in Van tonight to take on the hated Canucks. I'll not predict a score, but I will say that the majority of the Canuck players will spend their ice time either diving or cheapshotting Flames from behind, like they do every time we play them.
  9. Excellent game from the Flames last night. I've been saying that this kind of energy was gonna get us some bounces eventually, and last night, it did.
  10. That was actually Robert Edwards, Anthony Thomas was also Offensive Rookie of the Year, but it was for the Chicago Bears, and I agree with you he was really really good that year. He came back but was NOWHERE near what he once was.
