  1. Just came back from DDP's Q+A in London where someone asked him about the whole Scott Steiner deal in WCW. He said that people can rub each other the wrong way sometimes and things just blow up, but that him and Scotty are friends again and have been for a while. May want to change his relationship with Scott from Dislike to Friendship or just remove it altogether.
  2. I didn't mind Out Of Time, although it doesn't compare to anything from pre-self entitled album STP. The DeLeos were awesome with Richard Patrick in Army of Anyone. Can't they persuade him to do another AoA album after Filter's tour? At least he can sing STP songs if they need to - although it's probably because they still want to sing old STP songs and have a vocalist committed only to one band.
  3. This looks great LJC. Glad that some of these old EWR scenarios are getting done over, would be useless myself at doing it, but really appreciate people who have the knowledge, knack and time to update them
  4. Reboot is still absolutely amazing, will love that show till I die. Best animated series ever created imo. Freakazoid looking back on it was a great show, and there's some great references in there you wouldn't get as a kid. And Zzzap! is great for old memories sake to watch on YouTube. Ah childhood *sighs*
  5. Random Morrissey tracks, Sunny atm.

    Funeral Song

Why not just rig your coffin with tear gas? I don't want to force them into crying like a corrupt police force, just nudge em into it. Honestly I'm not sure I want a funeral, I mean do I have to lay there dead in a coffin while people glare over and talk about me and stuff. And in a church.

    Funeral Song

'The Stars Are In The Sky Tonight' by Eels, beautifully sad song and I want EVERYONE crying hahaha.
  8. Mudhoney's 'Blindspots' from Under A Billion Suns was a much better track than 'It Is Us' which they released as a single. The sax was awesome and although the lyrics of 'It Is Us' weren't terrible, describing the return you had in 2002 in a song released in 2006 was just a tad of an odd choice as a first single. I think nearly every other track on that album was better than that. Similarly, they should have released 'Inside Job' off Since We've Become Translucent, which was such an underrated album, even now. But ya, either way the Mudsters were unlikely to get in the Top anything so either way lol. Although I've noticed they have a ton newer fans, at least round where I live, randomly.
  9. Whiskey and the Holy Ghost by Mark Lanegan is my fav chillout/sleeping album

    Happy Songs...

Shiny Happy People by R.E.M. haha
  12. Some old Kinks tunes atm. Good stuff
  13. Ya that was The Pogues quote from NME. Think it's quite rediculous tbh, simply because 1. in the songs context MacColl is singing this to a straight lover of hers played by MacGowan, 2. it's sung rather charmingly rather than offensively imo and 3. they're Irish-American characters which would have spoke that way. I don't find it offensive and if there is a gay rights backlash NOT led by Peter Thatchell I'd be pretty surprised. I've spoke to people on gay forums about this and all of em find it rediculous. Peter Thatchell's done a lot of great things for gay rights, putting himself in the firing line, but just like everything nowadays, there are lines. This steps into Political Correctness boundaries.
  14. I like the name Izzavision. Sounds good in French too. Seriously though this has got to be good for Gaming in breaking Electronic Arts' hold on the market. And of course good for Guitar Hero which is way more important where I'm coming from.
  15. How could they schedule a clash between Portishead and Thurston, that's criminal. I would go but, 1. don't have the money and 2. I'm still in withdrawal for not being able to go last years which had the best lineup period (except Mudhoney, that would have made it a tad better than amazing). I still got to see Dino and Sonic elsewhere anyway so I'm not too bothered about missing that one. I will go one year though, maybe next if Uni doesn't get in the way of things. It's a sizable amount of money.
