  1. It's tied between Hadouken! and Gay Dad for me.
  2. I saw him at the end of August, one of the best live shows I'd ever been to.
  3. 1. Social Distortion - Story Of My Life. I only listened to this one once, since I'm not a huge Social Distortion fan outside of the song Angel's Wings. It's decent I suppose. 2. Feist - Inside And Out. I'm a huge Feist fan, but I didn't even know I had this song. It has the added quality of being a Bee Gees Cover, so. That's rad. 3. The Exies - Once In A Lifetime. I love The Exies. I love the song Once In A Lifetime. The combination of the two I must adore right? Right. It's actually high quality if you ask me. It isn't a traditional cover where it sounds the same as the original, it gives it a new sound. 4. Envy On The Coast - Green Eyes Don't Lie. I'm not a big fan, but this song was the first one I heard, and it just seems to be completely better than any other song by them. 5. Kimya Dawson - Tire Swing. Fuckin' Juno. Next. 6. Turisas - Rasputin. Finnish Metal? Check. Cover of a Disco Song? Check. Song about Rasputin and being an amazing lover? Check. 7. Ben Folds - Brick. One of my favorite songs, regardless of the subject matter. 8. Rick Astley - Ain't Too Proud To Beg. Say what you will about the RickRoll, but he wasn't bad. 9. Andrew W.K - Ready To Die. Seeing him live, and singing this song with 60+ people on stage made it one of my favorites. Never have I seen so many people sing one song together. 10. No Use For A Name - This Is A Rebel Song Covers seem to be reoccurring in my music tastes. It's a good cover. Not much else to say.
  4. I could suck up more if I tried FD.

  5. Oh Sousa, thou artst my favorite Mafia Runner.

  6. The Walker Ross.

    Happy Birthday.

  7. I'm older than Slogger and Katsuya? Really? Wow. 1990: Goodfellas 1991: Terminator 2 1992: Aladdin (Laugh. Go ahead.) 1993: The Sandlot (See above.) 1994: PCU 1995: Empire Records 1996: Jingle All The Way 1997: The Fifth Element 1998: The Truman Show 1999: Fight Club 2000: Battle Royale/Ready To Rumble 2001: Donnie Darko 2002: Catch Me If You Can 2003: The United States of Leland 2004: Anchorman 2005: Batman Begins 2006: V for Vendetta 2007: Juno 2008: The Dark Knight
  8. This far without Layla in Goodfellas? For shame. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAvgCloTNI0
  9. Please more Streets Of Rage, Gex and Eternal Champions? Those were some pretty ace games. Especially Eternal Champions.
  10. Everybody, you're all wrong. Da Da Da.
  11. I feel I should do another 10 out of the masses I have. 1). Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah Where to begin with this song... first off. It's one of the greatest cover versions of any song ever, and Buckley makes it his own, blowing away the barely sung version of Leonard Cohen. Secondly, Buckley sounds so pained when he was singing this, driving forward the emotion that the John Cale version totally missed out. All in all, an amazing song. 2). ohGr - Water A song I picked up during the last month, I'm not too big into Industrial at all, but this song is memorable to me at least. 3). The Aquabats - Pizza Day Finally some of my ska is played, I'm a total Aquabats fan, and I'm surprised why they hadn't come up sooner. Pizza Day is one of their better songs, but it's no Lovers of Loving Love. 4). Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight I've got no witty comment, so I'll say it's a high quality song. 5). They Might Be Giants - Kiss Me, Son Of God Not one of their better known songs, but it's catchy like fuck. Too short though, not even 2 minutes. 6). The Kinks - Father Christmas It's one of the best Christmas songs I've heard in my life. Top 3 easily. Plus, it spreads a message everybody agrees with. Fuck Presents, just give Money. 7). Apocalypse Hoboken - Sweet Transvestite I've never heard of the band before, but yes. That is a Rocky Horror Picture Show cover. They did it justice at least. 8). Weezer - El Scorcho Best Weezer song there is. And it references New Jack. 9). Rocky Horror Picture Show - Science Fiction Double Feature Yes, another RHPS song, this one the original. I'm not a big fan of this song though. 10). Pansy Division - I Can Make You a Man 3 RHPS songs in 10 songs, and 2 in a row? That's amazingly unlikely. This cover is terrible though.
  12. I have 6000 Songs. Let's see what the cat dragged in. 1.) Polaris - Hey Sandy This song brings back memories, it's a song everyone should know, even if you didn't know the title of it, considering it's the theme song from Pete and Pete. Upon closer listening, it's a guy wanting to be shot. Not the best theme for a Kid's Show? 2.) Third Eye Blind - Semi-Charmed Life Yet another song from the 90's, another song I remember vividly from my childhood. And once again, the song is more then it originally sounds, involving Crystal Meth addiction in it. Love the song regardless. 3.) Prozzak - It's Not Me It's You In all honesty, I didn't even know I had this song. It's set to the beat of the song from the Nutcracker, Sugar Plum Fairy and whatnot? It's obviously about the singer being broken up with. Really poppish, not bad, but nothing memorable. 4). Sufjan Stevens - Abraham I love Sufjan Stevens, but I just couldn't get into this song, too slowpaced. 5). Meredith Brooks - Bitch Generic 90's Feminist Song #51. Next. 6.) Sly And The Family Stone - Everyday People If you don't like this song, you have no taste in music. And it introduced the phrase "Different Strokes for Different Folks" to me. 7). Tom Petty - Don't Do Me Like That I'm not a big Tom Petty fan, but I enjoy this song quite a bit. No real comment on it. 8). Queens Of The Stone Age - Little Sister Greatest use of Cowbell this side of Blue Oyster Cult, and it gets it's job done. It's a rock song that is memorable. 9). Eiffel 65 - Blue Yet another 90's song. No comment as well, besides the fact that I'm ashamed that I have it. 10). Norman Greenbaum - Spirit In The Sky Proof that even Jews can love Jesus, and still make a decent song.
  13. Guns And Roses or Ugly Kid Joe (The cover is online and the same song is labeled from both, so I don't know which is which) - The Cat's In The Cradle
  14. I play alot of Dungeons and Dragons, D20 Modern and Shadowrun.
  15. Hey Sel, I beat you by several months with this, but do I want I did. Get FLCL, show them all, and you will win. Hell, Pillows=Win alone.
  16. I'm a New Yorker, and my entire family were/are Giants/Yankees/Rangers fans. So I naturally root for them. I really don't give a shit for the Knicks, but if they win a championship. I'll wear a Knicks hat for a while or something.
  17. R.I.P And this may be wrong time to make this joke but... What do Dale Earnheart Sr. and Pink Floyd have in common? Their last big hit was the Wall.
  18. I agree with the topic creator on his opinions. But. As a Giants fan, I am entitled to say the Jets suck. But, yes. Fuck Boston. Fuck the Sox. Fuck the Pats. And, Lowerdeck, not all New York fans are like that. And of course. The Mets suck balls and New Jersey is New York's Bitch.
  19. If you're adding random comic characters, you might as well add Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Chyna, Ultimate Warrior, Sting, Johnny B. Badd and more. Since they were in Comics. And, Freddy was a comic character?
  20. Billy Ray Cyrus- Achy Breaky Heart If not for that song, American's Funniest Home Videos would be nothing.
