Same. My daughter and I have really enjoyed the TMNT nostalgia and the game plays so well.

I'm actually taking EWInventory down today, likely for good. I don't play the game anymore as it is, and just got an actual sent letter from my host, saying that there had been several reports to them about malware on the server. They have basically given me the ultimatum that I have to comb through the files and remove the malware. I neither have the time, nor the desire to do this. This was started as a project between myself and AACBiggz some two/three years ago. It has been resourceful to the community, I trust. And if anyone needs to see the evidence of the letter, I'll gladly provide. I don't mind hosting the site. For that matter, if anyone else wants to start a resource of their own, see me. I really enjoyed this demo. It's a welcomed change from the we're trying so hard it hurts approach of other wrestling games on the market. And it's kept simplistic enough, that even the casual gamer/wrestling fan can enjoy it. Also, the experience is consistently that of nostalgia, without a doubt. After several minutes of struggling, I had Andre down for the count, but Heenan reached through and propped his leg up on the rope, shattering my hopes for the moment. I pulled Heenah over, and proceeded to take my vengeance out. In a classic wrestling instance, though, I turn, only to face the wrath of Andre. And yet the match ends up in my favor, very dramatically. I just love this...

Part of me wants to love Alabama's ranking, and part of me knows the bitter truth that our ranking has spoiled us. In the first half, Bama has been a powerhouse most of the year, among the best in the country. But then the second half rolls through, and the guys forget what they're on the field to do. DOMINATE THE FUCKING GAME! It's a shame the team blows other teams out of the water in the first half, then struggles to hold on as the game finishes. If games were judged merely by first-half performance, then we deserve our #2 ranking. But it's not, and I hardly believe we do. We've been a top-ranked team, solely based on survival. NOT domination, but mere survival.

I'm looking at starting up an online dynasty with NCAA '09 within the next week. I'm posting here and at OperationSports, gathering whoever fills the remaining eleven fastest. I'll have a website as well, which will be posted when the sign-up period is near its end. Even after the initial eleven sign-up, I encourage sign-ups to keep coming. We'll need alternates, I'm sure. I'd love for all eleven to stay active, but it's liable to happen that at least one will drop out. Rules? Here you go... Aside from that, I'm hoping to have mostly SEC teams in the dynasty. If you can't bring yourself to play SEC and still want to participate, that's fine, too. The SEC teams will manhandle you, anyway. When you post that you're interested, fill out this as well... After I've received eleven more signups, I'll ask that everyone post their schedule. It will be required that each user-controlled team face at least two other user-controlled teams. No exceptions. If your default schedule doesn't allow this, then swap your non-conference games around to do so. This is a main reason I'm wanting to keep all of the teams in the SEC. I hear the same complaints, year-in and year-out. But this year, the only complaint I have is with the roster situation... or, that was a complaint. I've found one roster file (search gamertag EAROSTERS COM [no period]) that works like a charm. I've simmed two seasons in dynasty mode with USF and had no problems at all. It almost seems as if people want the game to play, look, and smell like shit. So, to them, it is shit. Every year. But seriously, of all the NCAA games I've played to-date (dating back to Bill Walsh College Football), this is the most fun I've had playing. I've found a really nice combination of sliders that I feel work like a charm, and the new animations are eye candy, no doubt. The defense has worked just right, I think, despite hearing all of this about the defense being brainless. And the big hits... wow. The animations thrown in this year, both before and after the play, are just grand. I especially like the option of running around after you score, especially the interactions with the mascots. All-in-all, I'm glad I didn't do like several have done this year, basically boycotting the game for its on-shelf flaws. I haven't noticed even half of those, and I'm the kind of person that will take the game back if it plays like crap, demanding a refund. I see no reasoning with this. EA will have the editing problem fixed soon, I'm sure. Until then, people will continue to scream You fried my game! and other thought-less comments, without trying it out for themselves. And no, I'm not an EA game-boy. I've only purchased one Madden game in the last six or seven years, and NCAA is the only game I buy regularly from them. I'm far from being a religious follower of EA... quite the opposite, I believe. So don't give me that. I just am having a lot of fun with this year's game, and am tired of hearing worthless shit said about it, when I've seen quite the opposite.
