  1. I'm working on an idea for a TEW scenario and need some help with a logo, could someone please help by designing a logo for a WCW developmental fed called, Power Plant Wrestling? Colours etc. are up to you, but if the WCW logo is featured, could it please be the last logo they used, the sleek black and grey one. If the WCW logo does not work or fit into the design that's fine too. Other than that, it's up to you, but with the text 'Power Plant Wrestling' displayed in some way would be the basic design guideline. Thanks in advance.
  2. Am I the only one really impressed by Hulls transfers this window? Nothing out of this world, but really outperforming all the clubs around them on the table by some distance... Also I love playing Hull in FIFA so it's a win-win Jake Livermore Robert Snodgrass Tom Ince Harry Maguire Andrew Robertson Michael Dawson Mohamed Diame Gaston Ramirez (loan) Abel Hernandez That's some of the best players Hull have had in years! Or ever? Probably ever.
  3. Sorry, next time i'll use the figurative language tag.
  4. Why would his response to Falcao signing for Liverpool need to be proportional or relative to his response to Falcao signing for Man U though? Liverpool have a balanced team, Falcao would be a cherry on top. I think it's pretty obvious now to everyone here, as it was consensus yesterday when Falcao was still in Monaco, or the day before, or the day before that, for Man U fans and neutrals alike, that what they needed desperately were quality midfielders (a holding midfielder especially), and quality defenders; even moreso if the 3-5-2 formation is going to be a thing. The fact that they've replaced Hernandez (and possibly Welbeck) with Falcao is obviously a huge upgrade, but from another POV they are also thinning their squad by two young non-injury prone players, with a crazy waged injury prone much older player, to go alongside their other injury prone ageing front line. It's not 'bad' business by any means, he is a world class talent, but it is actually a larger risk than many seem to be willing to admit. Every Man U fan was screaming prior to deadline, the middle and the back need a serious overhaul. Signing Falcao doesn't magically fix that, that's all Nerf was saying, which is in actuality, logical and reasonable, if nevertheless stated by nerf. Now if they go and sign a quality holding player and get rid of some of their defenders then this team would be serious contenders.
  5. Looking at Juventus' midfield right now, it's godly - Pirlo, Pogba, and Vidal, that's not a trio I can see them breaking up unless they can get someone of like quality in for whoever would be leaving; who would be available at this point in the window to replace? Alonso apparently, but he has just gone to Bayern, meaning Khedira is probably staying? I don't see why Juve would cripple their title and CL ambition unless they had someone ready to go. For their part, the only rumours that seem to be circulating around Juve is that they are in for a striker, so can't see Vidal going at this point. But where does that leave Man U? The squad looks threadbare at the moment, can they really afford to let any players leave? How can Welbeck be let go? What happens when RVP or Rooney are inevitably injured? They really don't have the depth to release anyone without replacing them. Also, where the hell is Di Maria playing? In a 3-5-2, presumably you have 3 CB, 2 WB, 2 CM, 1 AM, 2 ST? Meaning Di Maria is playing AM, which is the only position the other big signing Mata is effective, or WB, where they have Shaw, or I guess on the other side one of Valencia/Young/Rafael/Januzaj. It just doesn't make sense, surely 3-5-2 is dead and buried with Di Maria?
  6. Well from the bias of a Liverpool fan, i'm relieved that many of the deals for the top players supposed to be signing for rivals appear to have fallen through -If Alonso goes, surely that means no Khedira for anybody. -Falcao looks like he won't be coming to the EPL. -Surely its too late in the window for Vidal to leave Juventus for Man U, unless there's a done deal Juve are holding back on to replace him? -Cavani looks likely to stay at PSG for the time being, as Arsenal who were briefly linked with him, have apparently ruled out forward signings? -Benatia, who was linked to all other top 4 teams (plus Man U), has probably gone to Bayern. Overall pretty good outcome, though Chelsea still made top signings in Cesc, Costa and Luis - and City with Fernando and to a lesser extent Mangala. Their squads are just too good right now, and i'd pick City/Chelsea for the title, with Arsenal and Liverpool competing for 3/4, along with Spurs close.
  7. Spurs do need a goal scorer I guess, and Dier has already pipped Soldado after two games! Surely his quality will be decided on his defensive peformances and nothing else, since he is a CB after all - otherwise he could be the English Skrtel.
  8. Seems a good deal if the fee reported is accurate, Liverpool desperately need quality forwards... would have preferred Cavani or Falcao but I guess they probably weren't realistic options, the Falcao loan rumour was a beautiful fantasy.
  9. Can someone please do me a favour and cut this belt: http://www.xpwonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/original.jpg on to this belt background: http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Backgrounds/EOAE_Belt_Base.jpg Thanks in advance
  10. I knew I was opening myself up for that, but I was hoping some might pass at the chance... how naive I was
  11. Honestly if Liverpool manage to sign Manquillo and Moreno, then yes they won't need Johnson. Johnson is another player that seems a bit injury prone, and when fit pretty much a liability in defence. He has been with the team for a long time now though, and has good understanding with the players and the system, but he just doesn't offer anything defensively and his attacking potency (his main strength) was greatly diminished last season as well. I'd be happy for him to go at this point, especially if Liverpool can bring in their side back targets. It may also be an opportunity for a fit Martin Kelly to get more game time, which has to happen sooner rather than later.
  12. 1). Lucas isn't "shite," he's crooked. I mean, I doubt he's gonna get back up to the level he was at, but dude has had REALLY unfortunate injuries that have pretty much fucked him. Getting rekt by injuries is pretty much the same thing though yes? If he spends more time incapacitated then playing then what's the point? He should be sold ASAP (as long as we can get a replacement). And when he came back from injury at the end of last season he *was* shite, slow and just cynically fouling all the time (probably not fit even still?). I know he used to be better, but so what? So did Agger... Now Lucas is basically a waste of a squad place really (though I suppose Can has replaced him which is good), Lucas is around mainly because we are so thin in midfield we need every warm body we have. Speaking of Agger though, he's now in a pretty similar position to Lucas, though he was always a much, much better player. Both are so often injured that they never get to peak performance, consistency or fitness before injury (it's especially sad in Agger's case), but it also disrupts the team. That said, I'd still rather Agger stayed and Skrtel was sold.
  13. So glad Bertrand is off the market haha! Come on Moreno! Disappointed Liverpool didn't get go in for, or missed out on (?), Lukaku - seems to fit the profile of the clubs new system perfectly. I wish Liverpool would go in for Schneiderlin or someone like William Carvalho, we have Can now but we still need more steel in defence. At the moment we have Lucas, who is made of glass and is shite, and Gerrard, who is like a season from retirement at this point and not a real DM. Can is a big step forward over the likes of Lucas, but we really need to just sell Lucas to Inter or Napoli or whoever, and get someone like *insert Southampton player* Also don't understand loaning out Origi unless that was absolutely required to get the DONE DEAL.
  14. As a jungler main I hate this change, it's making things easier for what reason? I liked how you needed to use your brain before.
  15. any opinion on that one? AFAIK the position of each worker on the card (by which I assume you mean, how the game would assign via an 'autopush'?) is set primarily by their current popularity, with a modifier applied based on how their default 'style' ('brawler', 'entertainer' etc.) fits within the product of each company they work for. In that sense, a worker could have the same popularity in the US and have receive a different autopush in an entertainment based company versus a work-rate based company. AFAIK 'recent fortunes' and 'momentum' don't affect card placement in a direct way, rather a worker with a positive 'recent fortunes' rating will gain popularity more easily, which in turn may lead to them to autopush further up the card as time goes on. Conversely if your 'recent fortunes' are not managed properly you will see some workers get stuck in a pop rut or lose pop- note- as a feature 'recent fortunes' does not effect enhancement talent or jobbers - so they can lose as often as is necessary. RE: 'Momentum', this is a measure of a workers current peformance, how well they are being received by fans, how much they feature on the card, their in-ring performances as a wrestler, or interview or segment performance if a non-wrestler. Depending on how this is set a worker will gain significantly or losing significantly on their segments or matches. This is pretty similar to 'recent fortune' except that it also applies to non-wrestlers, which 'recent fortunes' does not. Momentum is basically the overall peformance and success of a character at present. Bray Wyatt for example would have a very high momentum but a lower 'recent fortunes' since he doesn't win lots of matches, but his character is very hot at the moment and well featured. A guy like Bo Dallas would have low but growing momentum, as his character gets over, but his recent fortunes would be higher, since his currently 9 and 'Bo' in terms of match results. TL:DR; 'Momentum' and 'recent fortunes' are modifiers that can boost or hamper segment/match ratings, as well as popularity gains from segments/matches. Their setting in a contract will change how someone is autopushed on the card, but over-time workers with good or bad ratings in these features will affect a workers card position. At present, AFAIK, the only stats that directly affect a workers card position from a day 1 autopush are worker popularity and worker style/company product.
  16. He is going to Stoke so that says it all... still it's not like Stoke have an abundance of quality strikers so it still seems a decent signing as Diouf would appear, on paper, to have developed somewhat since he joined Hannover. I'm going to take a punt and predict he'll be the clubs top scorer next season, since Crouchy got that with only 8 goals last season. Loved Senegal in the 02 WC BTW!
  17. Haha WP, and I guess thanks for the correction, but I was just kidding on the whole '4 wins away' thing... since technically it'll probably end up being like 20 games until I get promoted, if ever I'lll be aiming for five though Then I will stop playing LoL ranked and retire with my gold border to normal haha There is only so far you can go playing WW jungle and Ryze in every other lane!

Does Fifa updates include the transfers in this window or no?
  19. So I decided to play ranked, after playing over 1000 games in normal with my mates, finished provisional Silver II after crashing out in the last two games of the provisional series. Still really happy, only 200 points + 4 wins away from Gold V haha
  20. Spurs are arguably in need of a LB more than we are. Can't see Seville accepting that offer though. When fit we have a solid LB, the problem is he's not fit that often, so arguably we need a LB just as much as Spurs, since our back up option is a young RB. RE: Spurs, I guess they need a quality starting LB? But they do have Rose and Fryers, so like two Flanagans... and they're both natural LB's. I dunno, considering how injury prone Enrique is I feel like we need a LB just as much, if not more than Spurs really. Certainly considering Spurs have two young, if not totally awesome LB's, I don't really get why they would be willing to drop Capoue (a promising young DM, a position they need... especially with Sandro attracting suitors), and Soldado (on-loan even), considering their lack of forward options, plus 14m! Not saying they don't need a LB at all, but that deal makes them seem much more desperate than they appear on the surface... I guess they have no faith in Rose or Fryers stepping up to first-team quality anytime soon.
  21. It's not an injury, it's been reported it was the work of Ghana's 'most prominent witchdoctor'*tm!
  22. I hate Chelsea, but man... they're probably they probably have the best behinds the scenes guys in the league. Like metalman said they've done such good business the past two windows, made two really big sales over the odds for players they don't even need (!), and have followed by signing probably the two biggest players that will move to the EPL this summer, crazy. At the same time they've also made other signings like Zouma, and are in the hunt for even more. Just smart business plays, and clearly great negotiators. As a Liverpool fan it makes me so jealous! We just don't make signings like Diego Costa or Cesc, unfortunately. Lambert, Lallana, Can - it's just not the same, but I guess there is still some way to go before we're in *that* league. Edit: I've read reports they're now going for Shaqiri or Markovic as alternatives to Lallana, either or both would be top top buys, and better signings - probably even cheaper individually. Also, apparently Spurs have offered 14m pounds including Capoue, as well as Soldado on-loan, to Sevilla for Moreno... wtf? Do spurs even need a LB that badly?
  23. I don't see how you can compare the labour standards of an absolute monarchy, with essentially zero workers right or protections, to Australia :/
