Not because it's West Ham but because it would mean Man Utd would be the only English team in the top 7 not in it

I fully expect that draw to result in a Liverpool vs. Leverkusen or Milan final, but pulling for West Ham to go back to back in Europe and into the Champion's League!

What does Ben Chilwell's knee have to say about his inclusion in the squad?

Just spotted this on an FM14 save:

Hopefully it means we don't have to sell Gallagher just to balance the FFP books now.

The older you get the more you pay!
Unless eligible by 2024/25 you'll never get an OAP ST discount. Ever. Doesn't matter if you live til 100.
This bit is disingenuous (if not entirely false) because the linked statement clearly explains that Seniors will still get a 25% discount on season tickets, phased down by 5% a year until 2030 to bring it in line with the same discount Young Adults currently get.

Has anyone played Marvel's Midnight Suns? It's currently on sale as part of the 2K sale and I'm intrigued by the concept. Turn based strategy using Marvel characters sounds like Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, which was an awesome game.

Well then.
May quit anyway because the sound of the commentators orgasming over Liverpool may not stop until June.
I turned it off after Gary Neville's "blue billion pound bottle jobs" comment. Absolutely unnecessary stuff in a game where I'd already had to have the volume on low to avoid the ~3 hours of Liverpool love stories the broadcast has been.

"Is he a good guy or not" No, there's recorded evidence that he isn't... what a silly statement.

Klopp has the whole aura for TV, that's for sure.
Maybe he's eyeing up the Klinsmann role of reasonably well-liked/sympathetic to English tendencies studio pundit.

Those would be fine if they were market stall counterfeits for Man City and Chelsea that cost £5.

As well as what @Baddar mentions above (although 20 years ago is more accurate), there was also a 2004 remake of Alfie starring Jude Law.
I did my work experience with a Reception class who were born in 2004/05 and there were four boys called Alfie in a class of 30ish kids. Pretty sure we only had a max of four, maybe five, with a shared name (Oliver) in an entire high school year group that was 8x bigger.

It's what PL officials will say to Man City when they finally get around to assessing those 115 charges.

Brighton signing a promising new left back? I look forward to him stinking up Stamford Bridge next season after paying triple whatever this fee was.

Timo doesn't realize he joined Spurs given what he's said, right!?
This seems like a flat out denial of reality, given that he's on loan for half a season at a club who aren't in Europe, went out of the League Cup in their first game in the competition, have incumbent Treble winners Man City in the next round of the FA Cup, and are 6 points of the pace in the most competitive league title race I think I've ever seen.

Man Utd proving that "you win some, you lose some" is actually a viable tactic as long as you don't draw often.

I believe the modern vernacular is "mid".

Any other Sly Cooper fans out there? Someone please tell me I'm not imagining the similarities between the beat in these two songs!

I think it's clear we can't rely on James and Chilwell staying fit, so something needs to be done about that. Playing Disasi and Colwill out wide isn't the answer...
I'd be looking to tie Gallagher down to a new contract and loaning out some of the teenagers so that more experienced (and apparently taller?) players can come in to create a more confident engine for the team. The sheer length some of these kids have on their contracts means that loaning them out for development sounds like a good idea, although the Andrey Santos at Forest debacle shows that doesn't always work as intended.
Oddly the player I'm missing the most is Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who could quite easily slot in basically anywhere on the pitch. Also he would've brought that height factor we're supposedly missing.

Back in October I decided I'd be satisfied with 4 points out of 18 from the run of games Chelsea have just had. We've come out with 8 points so I'm doubly happy.
Given that all the criticism for Pochettino seems to be "boo hoo, we won't make the top 4 now so dump him", I think it's clear that the reality of a complete club reset still hasn't set in for a lot of online fans. Being competitive for any European spot was a lofty goal this season in my opinion, never mind the Champions League, and the 7 point gap to those positions demonstrates that.
The remaining games this year will be more interesting as they're all against lower half teams, so really need to be taking at least 10 points from the 15 available. Hopefully it also allows Nkunku and Lavia to get some minutes in, as 8 games in 31 days means that rotation will be vital.

Rockstar have confirmed that the game will be coming to Xbox Series X/S and PS5, but there's no mention of a PC version. Once again, it seems that they're going to stagger the releases. I'm sure you can expect a PS6 remaster a couple of years later as well.
This is the first game I'd want on release day since GTA 5. Shame I'll need to get a new console just for the privilege.

They inducted Ashley Cole without a vote so I wouldn't be surprised if they do that again, particularly if anyone hangs around on the shortlist without ever getting voted in.
