  1. I considered it but that thread would be from before I joined the forum, which is like forever ago.
  2. Playing as Chelsea on FM09. Unbeaten in all competitions except for a League Cup fourth round loss on penalties to Liverpool, but 3rd behind Man Utd and Arsenal due to multiple draws. Possibly due to numerous first-team injuries, it was still a goalless draw against 11th place Sunderland going into the final 10mins only for Nyron Nosworthy to concede a penalty by tripping up Kalou. The commentary said that the whole Sunderland team started protesting furiously, during which Anton Ferdinand picked up a yellow card which will see him face a one-match ban and Teemu Tainio getting a straight red for kicking Malouda! Thankfully, Super Frank converted from the penalty spot.
  3. I can't record my PES5 diary pilot because the headset I bought has a shit microphone for PC 😕

  4. I'm surprised there isn't more emphasis on classic teams on FIFA for this very reason. Ultimate Team seems to dabble with it, and I recall a few having a Classic World XI, but Man Utd '99, Arsenal '04, Chelsea '06, etc., would be great additions.
  5. The ball hit his arm and there wasn't anything he could do about it. Punishing that with a penalty is wrong. I think the only time a ball to hand should stop play is when it directly puts the ball into the net.
  6. Southampton earned that win. It's worrying that a team who conceded 9 against Leicester were able to take any points at the Bridge, even if they did play with 10 men behind the ball for 2/3 of the game. More evidence that Lampard desperately needs to do something about that defence next month.
  7. Is he likely to be a starter, bench player, or squad player? £7.25m seems like peanuts in today's market but I'm vaguely aware that he was arguably one of the best players at the team which have been dominating Austrian football for the last few years.
  8. Just happened at work, as expected...
  9. "Lol, we removed more than half of the characters, including some of the most loved. Here's a Shuckle and a Beast Ball." - The Pokemon Company
  10. Batman: Arkham City Not as good as Arkham Asylum but still a great game. It hits the sprawling, open world map which you say you like without going to overboard with it. Cuphead I'm with you on this one. Had it installed for six months but haven't played more than six minutes on it yet. Everybody's Gone to the Rapture It looked amazing prior to release but I've heard that it isn't as rewarding as it seems. Heavy Rain This came with the Black Friday bundle I bought, and it's the only one I've played other than one of the Tomb Raider games so far. I only played the intro but I can already see why my friend raved about it when it first came out.
  11. Fair enough, I've still only completed the first three generation games so I'm a little bit behind on the finer points of new Pokemon games
  12. @Sousa My girlfriend has Shield and has been filling up her Pokedex for the last two weeks, so she might be able to help you with a few of those. What's your... whatever the code thing is to trade?
  13. A couple of years ago someone played it down the phone to me about 10 minutes before midnight on Xmas Eve, that was an annoying one. Should be fine this year, unless anyone I work with is feeling particularly malicious before next Thursday or it plays at the WAW Xmas Party the following day. If I make it to the 21st then I should be safe.
  14. Hopefully Lampard goes with a "don't fix what isn't broken" mindset. We need maybe a new left back at a push and I wouldn't object to signing Sancho, but everything else can wait until the summer. Caballero, Pedro, Willian, and Giroud only need replacing on a squad level due to age and can fulfill their current roles through the rest of the season unless any injuries start popping up
  15. Top Artists 2019: 1. Avicii 2. Blink-182 3. Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes 4. Sabaton 5. Streetlight Manifesto Avicii, Blink, and Sabaton don't surprise me but the other two do a bit. My top 10 songs are all Avicii because I'd often stick on his "This is" playlist and let it run for a few hours every other evening, before I moved in with the missus. Apparently I spent 22 hours listening to him over the course of 2019. The rest of the 2019 playlist consists of more Avicii before breaking out into ska punk, more EDM, and a couple of Jimmy Eat World and Frank Carter songs. My EDM listening habits have sky-rocketed this year because it's been really handy for writing content at work since August. Post-grunge, Ska punk, Pop punk, and Modern rock fill out the genres due to my usual listening habits and gym playlists. I'm at 22.5k minutes in 2019, which is actually my lowest yet on account of being restricted to commutes and evenings for half of the year, and then being restricted even further when I started having company on the train. I'd wager that around half of the total time is from August onwards, and will return to the 45-55k region I had in 2017 and 2018 next year. Top Artist by Year: 2010: Within Temptation 2011: A Day to Remember 2012: Less Than Jake 2013: Sabaton 2014: State Champs 2015: Against Me! 2016: Story of the Year 2017: Reel Big Fish 2018: PVRIS 2019: Avicii Top Song by Year: 2010: The Birth of the Blues by Sammy Davis Jr 2011: Over My Head (The Fray cover) by A Day to Remember 2012: Murder on the Dancefloor by Sophie Ellis-Bextor 2013: Over My Head (The Fray cover) by A Day to Remember x2 2014: Elevated by State Champs 2015: The Last Garrison by Enter Shikari 2016: One by One - (Acoustic Version) by Against Me! 2017: The Impression That I Get by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones 2018: I'm Shipping Up To Boston by Dropkick Murphys 2019: Wake Me Up by Avicii None of the top artists surprise me in the slightest, except perhaps the absence of Enter Shikari and Fozzy. I even correctly predicted 2011, 2014, 2015, and 2019. Songs are obviously a little harder to guess but also doesn't have any surprises for me. Story of the Year apparently take my Artist of the Decade title, which makes sense seeing as they're the first band I ever saw live and only got to see again at Slam Dunk earlier this year. Enter Shikari, State Champs, Against Me!, and New Found Glory round out that top 5.
  16. 1. Big Mouth 2. Lucifer 3. Final Space 4. Disenchantment These are the only new-to-air things I've watched this year, and even then only because I've watched them all through from the beginning since the summer...
  17. How about "Roy Hodgson started his managerial career 6 years before the oldest active Premier League player this season (Phil Jagielka) was born"?
  18. Are people confused because I haven't heard of athletics, cricket, and rugby players? Forgive me for not knowing who people are in sports I don't follow...
  19. I've only heard of two of them, Hamilton and Sterling. Between the two it has to be Sterling simply because he has an uphill battle against the press half of the time, although I reckon his recent argument with Gomez may end up costing him any chance he had of winning this.
  20. Sounds just as convoluted as the Nations League. KDB is right about it in my opinion.
  21. Not sure the Pulisic goal should've been given but VAR isn't exactly the most straight-forward thing. The BT camera angles looked like an obvious offside, and the fact that the commentators pointed out how wonky the VAR angle looked, doesn't fill me with confidence that it was the correct call. Between that and the amount of time it took to make the decision, something definitely needs to be looked at. Surely stopping the clock has to be considered to prevent umpteen minutes of injury time?
  22. Astounded that Valencia didn't score just now. Won't complain though
  23. He's a little bit older than that but the 19 year old PJ Knight goes by Pat outside of the ring. Then again, Norfolk isn't exactly ahead of the curve on anything except Finnish strikers
  24. Glenn was a shit manager everywhere he went, but evil enough to be the Devil? Surely not.
