  1. Probably both, but I think players shouldn't chip in a penalty. You show no class at all IMO :ohwell:
  2. That's what I said. And by the rule this is a foul.
  3. This has nothing to do with whos fault it was they touched each other. Didn't you read what I wrote about the rule? A player touches the keeper, when the keeper tries to go for the ball, and it's a foul. It's as simple as that. Intention or no intention. As a player you are not allowed to touch the goalie. You can also turn it around: If you are the keeper and want the opposing player to make a foul, just jump at/on him in the small box and try to grab the ball. It's always a foul by the player. Do you play football? Have you never heard your coach tell that your keeper?
  4. Yeah, Terry was just standing there, but as soon as the keeper tries to jump for the ball and a player is in his way and the keeper is therefor touched by the player it's a foul. That's the rule.
  5. You English still think every German is against your team. It was clearly a foul by Terry and thus no goal. There's no debate about it. There's a professional referee in German TV and he just said Urs Meier made the right decision. Just for your information: In the small box as a player you are not allowed to even touch the goalkeeper as long as he is trying to grab the ball. As soon as he has the ball in his hands you are allowed to touch him. That's the rule. Believe it or not.
  6. I think Portugal has substituted most of their defenders by now Great game!!
  7. What? He was found to be taking drugs back then. That's why Völler took over and not Daum. And the players you named to be missing are not key players at all. Metzelder has never played more than a couple of games for the last two years, because he is always injured. Deisler is mentally ill and not in form at all. Lauth didn't score in the second half of the season just like any other German striker (except Podolsky). Freier was perhaps missing our team, but Rahn?? Are you kidding me? Even Ziege is better. What Germany lacks are creative midfielders and someone who can score a goal, when you need one. Ballack sure is a great central midfielder, but he has no creativity at all and he is not the playmaker everybody sees in him. Schweinsteiger could turn into the player we need. He can really make the plays.

  9. I don't know really. But I don't know how this sharkport works, either. :ohwell:
  10. Most of the ones I know are German, but this one is English, too. You can get pretty much everything you want there. http://www.pescorner.de

  12. Country! A world cups or EU champs really bring the people together and everybody wants your team to win. It's just great. However, I really wanted to lose my Germans in 2002, but they made it to the finals anyway. I hate the way they are playing at the moment and would love to see them kicked out in the first round in Portugal. But I will cheer for them anyway, when they have their first game next Tuesday. Besides, there's nothing better than watching Gareth Southgate missing his penalty and then seeing Andi Möller hammering his penalty just under the crossbar for the victory. Or Didi Hamann scoring the last goal in Wembley ever. The emotions!!! *runs*
  13. Why are they losing money when there's a lockout/no hockey played? As far as I know, when the CBA expires in September the contracts between players and clubs don't mean a thing. So players are not getting payed and the Penguins - or any other team - won't lose money. At least not as much as before, because they don't have to spent money for salaries.
  14. Deep Purple on their Bananas Tour last November '03 in Nuremberg - 10/10. What can I say. I've never been to a big rock concert before and these old men blew me away. I loved it! I was there with my father, who does not even like Purple. But he went anyway because he knew I would love it.
  15. Listening to it right now and loving it! For me it's perhaps "Die Toten Hosen - Opium fürs Volk". Loved the Hosen before that album. They really changed their style back then (1996), but came back to their roots recently. Thank god. I also have to mention Deep Purple's "Come Taste The Band" 1975. Purple without Ian Gillan just isn't the same...
