  1. on the plus side, maybe we'll get some badass GTA mods out of this
  2. And they are BONKERS tough. If you're unprepared you can easily get one-shotted before your first turn.
  3. SMT III is amazing and definitely something to get. Haven't played V
  4. clearly Mick means Mount and Blade.
  5. Eternal Darkness x LA Noire Ghost In The Shell x Deus Ex Black Lagoon (the anime) x Borderlands Black Lagoon (the anime) x Yakuza) Yakuza x Mass Effect (Entirely taking place on the Citadel) Yakuza x Ghost In The Shell Ghost in the Shell x Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines Yakuza x Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines Outer Worlds x Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines Eternal Darkness x Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines more games should be like VTMB and Yakuza is what I'm saying here.
  6. Tony Hawk being a freebie means I'll finally bite the bullet and get it since it means ActiVision won't be getting my money as a result. Fuck Bobby Kotick.
  7. I didn't care for it at all myself. The melee combat felt clunky and the story was very dull. Stone Age Hurk was fun but that was it.
  8. I've been streaming Shenmue II: The Wrath of Tom as well. I also upload to YouTube when I'm not needing to worry about the RGB lights keeping me up when I need to wake up in the morn https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1532162903
  9. The 90s WrestleMania arcade game is a good shout but I don't really think of it as a wrestling game so much as Mortal Kombat with wrestlers. Then again, the gameplay is better than that era of MK so... Also the endings are hilariously weird and a lot of them involve people being killed... In fact Taker's ending has him killing LESS people than fuckin DOINK
  10. Besides Fire Pro, one I really love (but can never seem to find a legit port of or even a cabinet with it anymore) is the Taito arcade game Champion Wrestler. Very visceral brawling, impressive physics for the time, managers who throw weapons in the ring and even cage matches. It's the only game where a Giant Swing can be used not only to submit someone, but also throw them out of the ring or headfirst into a cage wall.
  11. Running a new gaming channel dedicated to streaming non-Fire Pro stuff. In a bit I'll be playing City of Heroes and later some Pinball FX3. In fact I'm playing RIGHT NOW https://www.twitch.tv/octoberraven
  12. I did the math and, assuming a quarter of people take public transit (very generous if this is put in the US, though apparently far less so in the UK? lol America I guess) and the rest took cars at an average of three per car, and given the size of an American parking space (with SUVs built in mind)... the space needed for a parking lot would be about ten Mall of Americas, or over seventy Yankee Stadiums. And that's just for the spectators! It's such a shitty idea that it's probably going to be attempted in Florida.
  13. wasn't sure where to put this but I don't know what makes this idea worse. The view or or the absolutely gargantuan parking lot you would need for this.
  14. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1492348457 What a sequence. EDIT- Boo, EWB doesn't embed anymore
  15. if you're an achievement hunter, you can always play City of Heroes: Homecoming, the best unofficial and free server for the cult classic MMO City of Heroes. It has 1581 achievements you can get!
  16. OctoberRaven, getting nostalgic for the game, was tempted to reinstall it, but wanted to get the Go Outside achievement legitimately. This was unusual for OctoberRaven, who generally doesn't achievement hunt.
  17. OctoberRaven, presuming that Srar's first playthrough saw her following the narrator's direction to the letter, informed her that this is a game that rewards you for experimenting and exploring. The Stanley Parable has over half a dozen endings, and to see them all, one has to ask themselves, "I wonder what happens when..."
  18. OctoberRaven made sure to request Srar do multiple runs, while assuring her that one can do pretty much every possible ending in a single sitting.
  19. See if you can find a repair center. Sorry, that's the only home fix I know.
  20. Srar placed a poll on EWB, not realizing that Stanley Parable is an absolute trip to experience over a lazy Sunday.
  21. I mean, not having played this game (yet!) but... this being a Borderlands-verse game... it's not entirely impossible for it to be like that.
  22. Turn it off, all the way off. Unplug the power cord, then hold down the power button for about a minute. Then wait about five minutes for a power cycle then plug the power cord back in again.
