  1. Spoiler

I love the stark difference from Season 3 and Dustin singing The Never Ending Story during the finale, to the MUCH darker season 4 that has Eddie playing Master of Puppets on the roof.

  2. What If

    Spoiler

I did kind of expect all the stories to come together in some fashion, but I really enjoyed it.  I'm just not sure if I am crazy but the Gamora Thanos-Killer and Hulk Buster Stark part... that was never an episode right?  Like I have no recollection of it and do not see an episode I missed.

  3. I would love to see future seasons mix up former cast members into new combinations.  Though, most of that is because I have no idea who else could be on it, and kind of contradicted that a lot of my favorite contestants lately have all been people who I had never heard of before the show.

Maybe its just me, but I really liked this episode.  Being a Agents of SHIELD fan, I will also love Phil being involved in the MCU.

SLJ and Clark Gregg were on point, Lake Bell was great as a ScarJo replacement, to the point I didn't realize it wasn't ScarJo until the credits.

I really didn't like E2.  It seems like, since Chadwick Boseman was in ill health, they wanted to make T'Challa perfect.  He can do no wrong, and everyone is better by meeting him.  It just came off as hollow to me

Edit: How long until The Watchers "I cannot, I should not, I must not interfere" gets thrown out and he interferes?

    Spoiler

I think the only reason I really liked what they did with Episode 2 was because of the last scene of the episode was that all his good actually doomed the galaxy because there was nobody to deal with Ego.

Episode 3 was fantastic.  Mostly it was fun to see the Avengers get killed off like that and I honestly did not guess who it was until it was obvious.

  5. Really enjoyed episode 2

    Spoiler

I found it hilarious that T'Challa just talked Thanos into being a Ravager and everyone just made fun of him for wanting to commit genocide, but he still thought it wasn't technically genocide.  Plus, the ending is just hilarious and a good way for them to turn the "What if T'Challa was Star Lord and did a ton of good across the galaxy" into the worst possible scenario.

I tend to agree here, and I also have the opposite problem, which compounds on it:

      Reveal hidden contents

The TVA enforce a single sacred timeline, which is something that's been decided in advance by space lizards. This isn't just to account for time-travel shenanigans, as the Avengers were able to go into back in time and fuck everything up and it was still "supposed" to happen, but a thing as simple as someone being late for work - with no external multiverse/magic/time-travel influence, it just happens that in their timeline they were late for work when the Time Keepers didn't want them to be - that gets reset and pruned out of existence and no-one will ever even know. Everything is important and controlled.

So... nothing that happens actually matters, because if it's not "supposed" to happen, it'll be undone and the "right" thing will happen, rendering all of the movies and TV shows completely pointless because an external influence is there making sure it was always going to turn out the same way, forcibly if necessary, no matter what any of our heroes did - or do going forward.

    Spoiler

I think the TVA is significantly less powerful than they are claiming to be.  Besides, it's episode 1, there is a long way to go.  Endgame straight up explained they were returning the stones to prevent divergent timelines from being created.  Loki getting the Tesseract broke the stable loop.

I feel like the TVA is just there to stop the timeline from going out of whack and don't have any actual knowledge or power to change anything if time is stable.  They just know Loki's future because he's from 10 years in the past.

  7. I love that the cheque said "Lord Greg Davies".

I don't know why I didn't think of it until now but I kind of hope to see some outside the box guests that would be amazing but not expected.  Basically I just want to see Colin Mochrie on Taskmaster.

  8. I've been at the theater where the crowd lost it a few times and honestly it's actually a kind of great experience.  My personal favorite was The Mist.  The friend I went with jumped to her feet and cheered when Mrs. Carmody got shot and the rest of the people in the crowd joined in because she was just so hateable.

  9. Please sign up below for The Thing 3 Mafia.  The game runs a little differently than normal mafia in that the scum is The Thing and at night they can assimilate other players to its ranks.  Lynches are also replaced with blood tests, if a The Thing is found they will be killed and the day will continue with a new vote.  If the test is a human the day ends and the night phase begins.  The town's main goal is to chain together successful tests to kill off multiple things before they can spread where the Thing wants as many night phases as possible to take over.

  10. While I enjoy the Monster Train DLC, holy crap it is so much harder.  I think most it is just that my old strategies just do not work nearly as wel.

Been messing around with Rimworld.  I tried a Tribal Colony until some asshole cougar decided to just murder everyone.

  11. 2 Achievements left in Stardew Valley.  Have a 2nd kid and the Joja one.  I have just been stockpiling my stuff to sell so when I get the 2nd kid on the way I will sell it all and make a ton of money and buy the Golden Clock to get the in game 100% completion.

I'm going to need something new to play once I'm done this so I'm not just playing Xcom.  The Monster Train DLC is less than a week away so that will tide me over.

  12. Picked up Rimworld, ended up not having to work this morning so I started my first colony and may they all RIP already.

I never did finish Monster Sanctuary.  I felt it got a little grindy but that was partially my own fault because just like in Pokemon I can never just choose a team of 6.  I think I was pretty close to the end, too.

  13. I think Stardew Valley is a great game outside the blight that is this stupid achievement.  That took so much effort and sanity to get but it's done, so now I just basically sleep and sell wine until I get the rest of the achievements.
