  2. My sweet boy, turning 16.

  3. There wouldn't be anyone left for the "non-doped up league" when people struggled to break the 10 second mark in the men's 100. Sprinters almost have to be on something if you know them by name, since every few years another "big name" gets popped.
  4. Game 6 was a classic choke. Up 4 with 28 seconds after LeBron has consecutive turnovers (Miami's THIRD straight), Manure misses 1 of 2 free throws. On the next possession, LeBron bricks a 3, the Spurs have their hands on the ball and can't claim it and he nails the next shot. Up 2 with a chance to ice it, Leonard misses 1 of 2 free throws. LeBron misses ANOTHER shot, Miami gets ANOTHER offensive rebound and tie it up. In spite of all of that, the Spurs still had a full 5 seconds to run a play and got nothing out of it. Collectively their sphincters got tight and they blew the series there. One defensive rebound or one made free throw late and the Spurs are heroes.
  5. I won't be able to run a league this year, but want to participate.
  6. When the Spurs get blown out tonight, they can blaim Manure for finally losing in the NBA Finals.
  7. They can't amnesty No Knees Stoudemire, so they're pretty much capped out. JR Smith is going to want more money and the only way they can get any better is to trade Melo or Chandler. So they either have to give up their one source of offense or their best defender. Good times.
  8. Time to blow up the Knicks. Again. It looks like '94 is the closest they'll ever come to winning a championship in my lifetime.
  9. I don't see the benefit to sitting out an entire year though. If he's expecting to be 100% back before he even attempts to get on the court, then he's a fool. No amount of scrimmaging/practicing prepares you for game speed and contact. I wouldn't want to build my team around a guy who has that mindset.
  10. Only the Knicks could make a 26 pt 4th quarter lead a nail biter. Pathetic.
  11. The issue with Griner is that it's expected that most of the players in the WNBA are gay for one reason or another. If you'd told me she was straight, that would have shocked me. I was almost waiting to see someone joke that now we're just waiting for the first "good" gay player to come out of one of the Big 4 leagues. Jason Collins was a little bit underwhelming of a choice, but props to him for having the guts to do so.
  12. I can't think of any reason LeBron would want to play with a(nother) diva like Dwight Howard. It's very much possible that Dwight Howard's window of being a dominant force on a championship team is over. Given the way that everybody of worth plays small now, what good is a hotheaded, ~50% free throw shooting bruiser who has shown the lack of "clutch gene" and is buttery soft emotionally?
  13. Dwight Howard's chronically bruised vagina is going to make sure he never wins a title. . . . unless he goes to Miami for the minimum.
