  1. The only person you could sack him for that would have any impact on this season would be Pep.
  2. Give it to Spearing til the end of the season. Fuck off VAR, what's Will Hughes doing with his arm other than blatantly impeding Longstaff.
  3. It looks absurd and hopefully brilliant. Now going to try and avoid any further trailers as I want as many surprises as possible.
  4. Whoever he is he'd be shit at our predictor.
  5. I just can't figure out why they think that having their employee double down on their already ill advised tweet is a good idea. If the league don't massively punish them I'd be stunned, and they deserve it. The best line is "if I was head of the referees organisation" which he now absolutely will never be. Now seen them. First two aren't pens, third one I'd love to hear the audio as the ref clearly thinks Young gets the ball, the VAR should surely disagree. That one's a pen, and at very least needed review. Doesn't change any of the above though.
  6. True neutrals certainly, but there's a shitload of Europe permutations flying about. I was hoping for Coventry v Man City, now just hoping for a Man City win.
  7. Indeed. Highly motivating. And I've just realised I massively mangled the playoff structure and forgot the quarter final stage... Still find the "2 teams go up" silly.
  8. Semi EFL (and also because I can't be arsed to find the National League thread), Gateshead have been prevented from taking part in the playoffs due to ground issues. Ruddy council. Weirdly because they've already set the fixtures 5th place Solihull have been given a bye to the final while 4th place Altrincham still have to play a semi.
  9. I'm not a fan of the phrase "farewell tour" like he's David Tennant leaving Dr Who. There probably isn't a better option but feels very weird.
  10. Only if their last 4 fixtures are all against Sheffield United.
  11. I'm happy every time there isn't a Newcastle game in so works for me.
  12. I'm 3 episodes off finishing my X-men rewatch so I can finally start, but is there a reason why it's listed as 14+? My 8 year old is looking forward to it, is there anything there that raises it above an MCU film age wise? Might watch it on my own first just for the peace...
  13. Slightly disappointed you didn't use the FA Cup definition of weekend and stretch this to Wednesday... Luton 1 vs. 3 Brentford (Sat 3pm) Sheff Utd 0 vs. 1 Burnley (Sat 3pm) Wolves 1 vs. 2 Arsenal (Sat 7.30pm, Sky) Everton 0 vs. 2 Nottm Forest (Sun 1.30pm, Sky) Crystal Palace 2 vs. 2 West Ham (Sun 3pm)
  14. Finally watched Cape Fear, but spent most of it realising I've seen it via the Simpsons. Absurdly tense film though, needed Sideshow Bob as a palate cleanser afterwards.
  15. I sort of want to put myself through them both (I was waiting for the second one) but there's actual good films I haven't seen. So annoying.
  16. The best part is finding out he's been "Gulf Coast" boss for the last two years and they've had back to back promotions.
  17. Could the coefficient be saved by the "Thursday night, on Channel 5" brigade? Villa kicking it off.
  18. Dubai have bigger fish to fry.
  19. I also should have presumed they hadn't even bothered consulting EFL clubs, let alone non league, because obviously they didn't.
  20. Presuming they've not done anything sensible like having the lower ranked side being able to choose the venue?
  21. Obviously not suggesting it had an impact, but City playing Hey Jude over the PA before the penalties was a bit weird.
  22. Is it the Spursiest Spursieing to have Kane and Dier knock Arsenal out of the Champions League, removing all likely chance of qualifying in 5th?
