  1. First CD: 2pac - All Eyes On Me Last CD: Cunnilynguists: A Piece of Strange
  2. You guys gotta check out Pharaohe Monch's new cd, Desire, it's a great album. The man hasn't lost a step since Internal Affairs or his Organized Confusion days. I also recommend Joel Ortiz's The Brick: Bodega Chronicles. Joel could be big if Aftermath pushes him good enough. And Canibus' new cd, For Whom the Beat Tolls, is great for the fans who want crazy lyrics. Talib Kweli will be dropping soon as well, Eardrum.
  3. I am a huge fan of George Carlin. I caught almost, if not all, his HBO specials on OnDemand and I can never get enough of him as I've seen a couple of his specials one too many times according to some people. I also have his flip a day calendar this year which always brings a good laugh to start the day.
  4. Last night was the first time I ever really sat down and gave 24 a chance, and I am glad I did. The first four hours have been really good and I can't help but wonder what will happen next.
  5. Tech is one of my favorite underground artists. I got both his albums and waiting for his next, whenever the hell that drops. His flow isn't the best on his 1st album, but he has improved since. I like the humor in his rhymes and how he doesn't give a fuck in what he really says. I also like how he speaks out against the government, even if I don't believe in the 9/11 consipracies that much. He is smart and knows his stuff though.
  6. I have always been a fan of Tech-N9ne. I like his Anghelic album best. His flow is one of the best and he can be serious (like mostly on Anghelic) or just fun (like moslty Absolute Power). His new album has a nice mix and is pretty good from what I have heard so far, I haven't gotten a chance to get it yet.
  7. 1. 1984: George Orwell (Didn't know so many others here liked this book as well) 2. Blackboy: Richard Wright 3. A Time to Kill: John Grisham 4. The Cool World: Warren Miller (Probably not well known, but I have always enjoyed this book since I found it in the library) 5. To Kill A Mocking Bird: Harper Lee 6. Night: Elie Wiesel 7. Animal Farm: George Orwell 8. The Kite Runner: Khaled Hosseini 9. Sideways Stories from Wayside School: Louis Sachar (Loved these books when I was younger) 10. Maniac Magee: Jerry Spinelli
  8. I don't mind Carney, but I wish the Sixers took Marcus Williams instead. We need a good, young point guard to replace Iverson and Marcus can help there.
  9. Amazing Race is about the only one for now, eventually Entourage when it comes back.
  10. This list isn't definite as I am always changing it up after the top 3 1. Canibus 2. Nas 3. Xzibit 4. Immortal Technique 5. Jay-Z 6. Krs-One 7. 2pac 8. Tech-N9ne 9. Common 10. Chino XL 11. Scarface 12. Rakim 13. Wu-Tang 14. Outkast 15. Public Enemy 16. Ras Kass 17. Crooked I 18. Redman 19. Kool G. Rap 20. Ice Cube
  11. Difficult decision, but I picked Public Enemy as I love Chuck D, even though NWA's members were great also. I picked Jeff Buckley because I didn't really know the other guy much.
  12. This is one of my favorite movies and grandma is a great character, "coughs on chronic "Ah, thats some good shit." I never get sick of watching it.
  13. I liked Empire Strikes Back better because there was more drama and Bubba Fett is the man.
  14. I was never the biggest fan of D12, but I always liked Proof though, his solo stuff was pretty good. It sucks to see another rapper go too. RIP Proof.
  15. That was a great episode. I never expected anything like that to happen to Chef. It should be another good season.
