  1. Yeah I was posting in here when Mirai Nikki was on. I've probably missed about four seasons worth of stuff, but only really 2 of them provide much of any news. I'll look up some of the stuff suggested and see what appeals and add it to MAL when I get the chance.
  2. So I'm all nicely caught up on Uchuu Kyoudai/Space Brothers and it's as strong as ever. Great, feel good and inspiring anime actually. It's rare something like that would actually resonate with me on a real life basis but it actually does. Also finished up Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, I watched it in two blocks about six months apart so I couldn't really remember much of the story when I picked it back up but it was pretty meh. Making my way through the time line so onto Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam next... I've also started Fullmetal Alchemist because I'm ashamed to say I haven't seen it. But I figured since I get a few hour chunks each day free that it's easy to block watch anime rather than just go through an episode at a time of something. That said I need to add some things to my list of what to watch of what has come out recently. So Kill La Kill is on there I guess, anything else I definitely need to be checking out from the last 6 or 12 months I guess?
  3. I really like how well they do at introducing and developing new characters consistently. Also the brothers' dad is absolutely hilarious. I've got about 19 more to go, just got past the episode where he has his own anime. 'Buddy Gorilla' was a bit cringeworthy!
  4. Trying to get back into some anime, starting with a backlog of 30 Uchuu Kyoudai episodes. It's still hilarious.
  5. I watched Attack on Titan in pretty much two sittings and while I enjoyed it, and for a long time it was on course to be one of my favoured anime for the past few seasons it sort of waned towards the end. Right, I best go keep getting caught up with stuff..
  6. Hey, so a while ago I lost internet and was limited just to using it on a phone with not enough data to keep up with anime. Then I had to go work on a farm for three months for visa regulations. Well now I'm home and I have my internet sorted and that means I can watch anime again. So I'm going to start by catching up with Attack on Titan, as I was championing it when it came out and only got to see a couple of episodes before the aforementioned happened. In the meantime, what is good to watch that is currently airing and what do I just have to go back and watch - preferably only the top of the top (if there has been anything) as I have enough of a backlog as it is. I like Gurren Lagann, Code Geass, Death Note etc. for those who can't recall. Thanks fellas. Good to be back.
  7. Niall Quinn had a great day on commentary, probably downing cans and throwing them on the ground, feet up on the desk having the time of his life. And the image of the day: Righto, off to punch a horse in the head.
  8. I started on Aku no Hana and did not enjoy it. The anime style was a bit off putting and it just seemed really boring, I just don't think I was going to be able to watch it all. So that's that and Arata Kangatari that have been chopped already, Next RDG: Red Data Girl. Fingers crossed for something.
  9. I started on Arata Kangatari but gave up after about 5-7 minutes, didn't really seem like the type of show I'd enjoy and it was pretty slow moving. If anyone is watching it and thinks it gets better then let me know but I didn't really have the patience to watch it for any longer. No real loss as I want to watch quite a few shows this term anyways.
  10. Attack on Titan has started, I've read a lot of the manga so I kind of remember what's going to happen. There will be two episodes (I think) then a time skip. Will get caught up on the other stuff soonish.
  11. Aku no Hana, Arata Kangatari, Kakumeiki Valvrave, Red Data Girl, Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) and Suisei no Gargantia are on my to watch list for Spring 2013. I'll drop anything I can't really stick with and pick up anything that does well that I didn't expect to like, but I'll be honest - Attack on Titan is where my main interest lies.
  12. I've been getting on top of everything lately, and didn't pick up a winter program to watch so I'm only watching Zetsuen no Tempest, Robotics; Note, Psycho-Pass and Uchuu Kyoudai, the first three of which are about to end so I added Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory to my list and I'm currently three episodes through that. Is anyone watching any of the winter stuff that they can recommend? All of it looked pretty average to me there was only Maoyuu Maou Yuusha that I remember seeming relatively appealing - so I may go back through and watch that when these autumn shows come to an end.
  13. Finally all caught up. Zetsuen no Tempest has tailed off a bit for me, it's just a bit.. meh.. 'trees' and stuff. Nearly finished and not nearly worth dropping but it's nothing special, and the characters are a little bit too two-dimensional, there doesn't seem to be much volume to any of them. There's only two episodes left so it should be an interesting and climactic finish hopeful with some twists still to come. Robotics; Note and Psycho-Pass both have one episode left. Robotics; Note, like Steins; Gate is being neatly tied together again as it reaches the end with everything just being neatly tied off and the like. It's really entertaining but hasn't had the same wow-factor that Steins; Gate came with for me. Nor are the characters as interesting, Akiho is probably my favourite and seems pretty well presented but nothing compares to the Okabe and Makise in my opinion. Psycho Pass EP21 spoiler below
  14. I kinda hoped she was just a bit of a bitch. I'm a bit lost with R; N, not much idea what's going on but you know that regardless the last two episodes are going to be explosive. It's all been built up so well and now it's ready to meet a thrilling conclusion and with that and Psycho-Pass, I really can't wait for either.
  15. ATTACK ON TITAN ATTACK ON TITAN ATTACK ON TITAN can't wait!
