  1. This might help - http://blog.lostpedia.com/2009/05/who-is-simeon-hobbes.html
  2. Lostpedia seem to think there's a Lost ARG going on on Twitter, which started with @simeonhobbes who wanted followers to also "Follow The Phoenix", which is @epithetalpha. Not sure if it is an ARG, or where it's going if it is, but it's something to keep people occupied during the hiatus if so.
  3. I've been a member of SOLDIER, 1st Class slowly approaching my death. (FFVII - Crisis Core)
  4. If you didn't do a few things in Kingdom Hearts, that is the end. If you have completed the Hades Cup together, found all 99 Dalmatians, and sealed every Keyhole, including 100 Acre Wood, then you see Another side, another story. secret ending, to set up the next game, so just watch it instead.
  5. A choice between Elizabeth Mitchell & Evangine Lily, I'd always choose Elizabeth Mitchell.
  6. Watched a few sneak peeks and stuff now. Stuff about that in the spoiler as well as a death theory/hope. Spoiler: Click here to view It annoys me that they seem to be breaking up Juliet & Sawyer now. It seemed a bit random at first, but I really can't stand Kate anymore and I do like Juliet. Sawyer, Kate & Juliet vs. Jack and co. might be good though. Locke is assigning the killing of Jacob to Ben, which is pretty awesome. Eloise is pregnant at the moment. Very expected. There's meant to be a death in the finale, and it's meant to be someone that's been in since season one, so I'm betting on Sayid (as his story is done, and Roger points a gun at him), but hoping on Kate. Also, a bigger spoiler. Spoiler: Click here to viewMark Pellegrino has been cast as "Man #1" for "The Incident" which lots of fansites think is Jacob, and he's been popping around visiting the Losties at certain points in their life apparently, such as when Locke was pushed out of a window and when little Kate had met Tom for the first time. Be interesting to see if it happens, and to finally see Jacob for more than a split second.
  7. In D/P/Pt he's at the Valor Hotel bit, south of Veilstone City. He's in a house by himself on the left hand side of houses I think.
  8. In R/B/Y, he gives you an in-game certificate (not an item, just an on-screen certificate) for completing the 'dex. There's been a guy like that in each game since, and now there's varying certificates for completing that region's 'dex and then the national 'dex (all of them).
  9. Awesome news, it's been a long time coming.
  10. Thought I'd bump this thread, and update what I'm playing. Pokémon Platinum - Just beat the Veilstone Gym. It's becoming a pain to level up for me at the moment, especially raising an Onix which everything seems to kill. Just trying to get to the Battle Frontier really. Kingdom Hearts II - Almost finished up 100 Acre Wood & Atlantica, which clears up the sections I dislike. I think I've got the second run of Agrabah to get started on, and then Pride Lands & Hollow Bastion, then I think there's just the final world to do. Proud Mode is getting aggravating at times, so I'm trying to stay a level or two above the Battle Level. Final Fantasy XII - Okay, so a couple of months ago I was lost in the Garasmythe Waterway with Balthier & Fran, but it turns out after this restart that I wasn't really lost. I was standing right outside the gate I needed to go through. The Firemane was a bit of a pain, but I'm progressing nicely with the story. I couldn't help but think though. Kingdom Hearts II's tutorial intro is awfully similar to Final Fantasy XII. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - Loaded up one of my old files and am just clearing missions at the moment. I really need to pardon some of my troops, so that they don't start getting sent to jail, but don't really have any good backup troops from my regular six.
  11. Fine, so Final Fantasy XII is being kind of enjoyable at the moment. Just about to leave Nalbina Dungeons. Favourite first boss: Guard Scorpion from VII Favourite optional boss: Emerald Weapon from VII Favourite summon(s): Tonberry (Crisis Core), Doomtrain (VIII), Yojimbo (X)
  12. This episode was certainly the 100th hour of Lost, but the 96th episode of Lost (not counting how the finalés were split up differently on the DVDs), so by the time we get to the end of this season, we'll have had 103 hours of Lost, and 98 episodes. Then next season is 17 episodes, so we'll have had 117/8 (assuming the season six finalé is two hours) hours of Lost and 115 episodes when it all wraps up.
  13. You can buy Hyper Beam, so it doesn't matter. Boltbeam is much better though as someone mentioned.
  14. LightBike is pretty fun, and I got it for 59p. Space Deadbeef is a good shooter and free if I remember right. I'm also enjoying BrickBreak Revolution (essentially a more awesome Breakout) and you have to have JellyCar if you have an iPhone. Rainbow Ninja is good too for short bursts.
  15. Yeah, but once you've got it going it takes ages. Though if you get a good streak, talk to the woman at the counter and she'll hand over the TM for Explosion.
  16. Been playing Kingdom Hearts II a lot in the last few days and I'm now just about to start in Agrabah. I've got to say though, fuck the pirates in Port Royal. I struggled against them on the normal mode, so now on proud mode they got me quite aggravated. Valor Form is now almost level 4, which means I have High Jump. Wisdom Form will be discarded again until I get to that place in The World That Never Was that has only Shadows & Neoshadows. I'm level 22, which is the recommended level, but I'll try and get to 25 before I leave Agrabah.
  17. Concerning the finale and timelines Spoiler: Click here to viewThe purge will not be in the finale. I would bet on that. Mostly because the purge happened in 1992 and we're in 1977. Another reason is that if "whatever happened, happened", The Incident (which is the name of the season finale) cannot be the purge because it happened before The Swan Orientation film was made. As Pierre Chang says: Not long after the experiments began, however, there was... an 'incident'... and since that time, the following protocol has been observed. The film carries the year 1980 on it, suggesting it happens before then. 1977 - Where most of the Losties are now 1977 - 1980 - The Incident happens meaning The Swan's button needs to be pushed 1992 - The Purge happens and The Tempest is used to kill most of DHARMA Also, some bad news. There's another break between 5x13 and 5x14. Only a week and there's a clip show on that week, but then it's the 100th episode for 5x14.
  18. 19. You might have noticed that I have what games I'm playing underneath my avatar and I try and update it regularly, so quick thoughts on each. DS - Pokémon Platinum Liking the new features so far. Training an Onix, which I've never used before, and a few more of my favourites this time around. Can't wait to get to Battle Park. PSP - Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- I'm on New Game Plus on this trying to finish off all the missions. I really do like the style of it. I'm hoping that Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep is similar in gameplay, as Nomura suggests it is. Retaining your level on New Game Plus seems a little ridicolous still. PS2 - Kingdom Hearts II Started Proud Mode on this to see if it was actually a challenge, and it is. I have the walkthrough for the game, and I'm trying to be at twice the level it suggests. Also hoping I can beat Sephiroth this time around, as he was a challenge to me last time, but I was hugely underleveled which I guess won't be the case this time. There's only three things I could do without in this game: Tutorial Twilight Town with Roxas (or maybe just the first three days), 100 Acre Wood (which you need to do to get Curaga) and Atlantica (which you need to do to get Thundaga). GBA - Legend of Zelda : Minish Cap Restarted this after remembering I sold Phantom Hourglass. Still quite a good game, but Spirit Tracks trailer has made me disregard it a little and want Phantom Hourglass back. iPhone - Time Crisis Strike LITE Yeah, just the Lite version, but this suits the iPhone really well. Tilting the screen to reload is a good control. Might get the full version soon.
  20. Shit. Condemed 2. I played the demo of that and was constantly shitting myself. I prayed for death towards the end of that demo just to get me out of it.
  21. Just got Platinum today, traded three eggs over from Pearl, can't remember what's in any of them. Have Onix (which I've never raised before) and a Turtwig as my Pokémon while waiting for things to hatch. Loved the changes so far, especially the GTS & WiFi Square. Oh, adding Drifloon to my squad in about five minutes when it becomes Friday
  22. So, it's still a couple of episodes away, but the press release for 5x12 keeps making me want it this week. Spoiler: Click here to viewBEN ATTEMPTS TO SUMMON THE SMOKE MONSTER IN ORDER TO BE JUDGED FOR SINS OF THE PAST, ON ABC'S "LOST" "Dead is Dead" - To atone for sins of the past, Ben must attempt to summon the smoke monster in order to be judged, on "Lost," WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. 23. I'm sure I was meant to pay attention to GDC for something...Kingdom Hearts stuff? Maybe. I can't remember. That OnLive thing looks interesting. Cost?
  24. From Ausiello (concerning deaths): Spoiler: Click here to viewNumber of deaths: 2 (at least) Time frame: End of season The scoop: One is major, the other major-ish. I'm thinking Spoiler: Click here to viewFaraday/Miles (major-ish) and Sawyer/Ben (major)
