Fucking Flacco, really. Go away, John, you drunk.

Him putting his job on the line with hopes of Flacco turning into Manning would be like me quitting my job with hopes of winning the Powerball tonight.

I've had 6 hours of anticipation from hearing the news at work to getting home just to see how mad you would be about this. Thank you for being this mad. He's your frustration now.

Reports are it’s a 4th. And I’d rather just ride with Keenum another year (his last year of contract) and draft one to take over next year. This move reeks of desperation and fear of failing to draft a quarterback that’ll be worth a damn for 2020 season.

Also this part is lunacy. The Ravens were 100% happy to cut him and here comes Denver willing to take on the entire salary and actually give up a mildly worthwhile draft pick in the process! This is the first nice thing John Elway has ever done to the city of Baltimore.

I think even a 4th for Flacco is steep at this point in his career. They should have probably just rode with Keenum and drafted an heir apparent.

Their Super Bowl  odds actually got worse, which is a little surprising because I consider Joe Flacco to be marginally better than Case Keenum.

I actually think it could work out. Not, like, win a Super Bowl work out, but they could make the playoffs. Denver is basically a 'worse' Baltimore at this point, strong defense, strong running game. Tougher division, though, Chiefs and Chargers are better than Steelers/Browns as competition for the division. Really depends on the development of Phillip Lindsay.

Kinda would love to see Glazer go off the rails like this during a live FOX broadcast.

Is this real, because it just makes me like Jay Glazer more. These dudes have really tough jobs trying to learn information from people who sometimes have no incentive to tell them, or even have incentive to lie to them. They get a lot of shit for it too.

Against my better judgment, I logged onto the Giants Pro Boards for the first time in a while and I’m greeted with ten unique topics asking if the Giants will try to trade for Case Keenum.

This fanbase eats too much lead paint.

I am sure what is holding back Pat Shurmur from being successful is that he doesn't have Case Keenum to run his offense and ya'll should definitely remedy that.  Because its definitely not that he's a terrible head coach.  Don't ever believe that.

I'm not sure I'm willing to say he's a bad coach but at the very least he's a terrible judge of which head coach openings he should take.

Was in Vegas this weekend, saw the new Raiders stadium being built.  Can't believe how close it is to the strip, I have no idea what they are going to do for parking.

Everyone can just walk from the casinos. Walking around in Vegas is super easy, even for a fat guy. If you get tired there are escalators every few blocks to help break up the work!

Doesn’t help the people out in Henderson or Summerlin, or anywhere else off the strip.  I know they’re going to have some of the worst home field advantage in the league given how much of a tourist destination Vegas is, but I figured they would at least want to try to make it easier for locals to attend.

What changes were you expecting? The lawsuit was to recoup salary + damages he lost from being blackballed. He was either going to be awarded that through the trial or by a settlement.

The difference is Kaep took the money and ran, rather than force someone, on legal record, decree that the NFL did wrong.

He didn't "take the money and run". They offered an amount he was satisfied with so he agreed to it. It doesn't need to be more than that. Them settling it and having such a strong confidentiality agreement attached to it that the number hasn't really been leaked yet would indicate that the NFL knew it was toast. But there was no way they were going to let it go to trial.

If you don't think the NFL was wrong about it already then a trial wasn't going to change that anyways.

...until the NFL offers you millions of dollars to stay quiet about it. He made a whole ad campaign about sticking to principles no matter the cost, etc. and then let the NFL, which knew it was toast then, buy their way out of the toaster.

His protest =/= the collusion case against the NFL. What principle is he sacrificing for the settlement? You're conflating his passion for social justice with the lawsuit and that's not the point of the suit. The lawsuit was to point out that collusion from the league prevented him from earning a living in his choice of profession. The settlement resolved the income he lost as a result of that.

He still very much believes in social justice and continues to put both his time and money into that. He's still sticking to his principles.
