Producer Martin Birch has passed away

According to David Coverdale legendary British Rock record producer and sound engineer Martin Birch has passed away at the age of 71. Most metalheads will know him as the man who produced every Iron Maiden album from Killers up to Fear Of The Dark. But he also has worked as an engineer on every Deep Purple album from In Rock to Come Taste The Band. He produced every Whitesnake record from their debut Trouble to Slide It In, the first three Rainbow albums as well as Heaven & Hell and Mob Rules for Black Sabbath. In addition to that he worked with Fleetwood Mac, Blue Öyster Cult, Wishbone Ash,Jon Lord, Roger Glover, Jeff Beck, Gary Moore and Michael Schenker.
