I honestly think they should tear up the entire referee's union and list of officials and start again, somehow. Standards are atrocious in this country at the moment.

I'd honestly like to see some research eventually into whether making refs reliant on a man in a cupboard watching telly impacts the behaviour of on field refs.

If nothing else it's noticeable that refs aren't consulting with liners as much anymore, because why would they?
