He made, what, one appearance for Chelsea in like a decade?

In nearly 200 career appearances since making his professional debut in 2012, he was played three times for Chelsea. All of those were in his debut 2012-13 season and he has spent the entirety of every other season out on loan aside from half of 2018-19. Ridiculous.

There needs to be some stronger enforcement around clubs just loaning players out every season. Maybe a loan fee kicker that escalates each successive season a player is loaned out?

Why? It's not like Piazon signed a 9 year contract back in 2012. He's renewed at least twice, knowing he had 0% of ever establishing himself in the first team.

Agreed, players contracts typically last for 2-5 years so that's more than enough buffer for them to decide "do I want to keep doing this?", before re-signing if they do or leaving on a free if they don't.

Fab is saying Dele Alli to PSG on loan is a possibility, with Christian Eriksen coming back to Spurs from Inter for the rest of the season also on the table.

I'd take it cos Dele deserves so much more than the way Jose is treating him, so a reunion with Poch would be great.

Eriksen coming in I'm all for because we've sorely lacked his creativity, he has a point to prove and someone pointed out that if anyone can motivate him, it feels like Hojbjerg would do a decent job.

Ideally, I'd want Dele playing a lot more for us, but I think it's obvious Jose has made his mind up there.

Add Mesut Ozil to the list that already includes Alex Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla and Danny Welbeck that all left without us receiving a single penny. Atrocious business.

I'm glad he's gone now just so that we can close the door on the whole chapter but yeah no part of it has been handled well. For years we begged for a world class striker to make use of Ozils talent and when we finally get Auba, and in a season where we were almost in a relegation battle, we drop him.

I liked Ozil, the day he signed was mental and some of the criticism he got was unfair, but at least now it's over. £350k a week better off in our 'war chest'.
