College football is so weird.  A game this late in the season between two 9-1 teams, the 5th and 7th ranked teams in the country respectively...it shouldn’t have been this easy to predict an Ohio State blowout.  And yet it was, Ohio State already up 42-0 halfway through the the 2nd quarter.

Both of those were pretty clearly Arkansas touchdowns. First touchdown got overturned, then they held up and reviewed the second touchdown - a rushing TD from the ONE - and finally ruled that one a touchdown. What the fuck is this all this chicanery.

If Cincy actually does make the playoffs, UCF will weep since the strength of schedule argument was held against them for years.

We're inevitably gonna end up with an 8 team playoff someday, probably the power 5 champions and 3 at-large teams, and those 8 teams will then be ranked for the playoffs.  1 vs. 8 being a glorified bye week for the 1 seed.  All while the regular season is watered down.

One upshot of NIL is that you may see really good players not all decide to spend 2-3 years on the bench at Bama or Ohio State before getting their shot. It may create a deeper playing field where 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, and 3 vs 6 won't be laughers most years.

Good season this year. Such a turnaround from just last year, when the Hogs went 3-7. The only real blemish on the season is that shutout loss to Georgia, but we are talking about Georgia, who's had a fucking banger of a season.

I can’t believe Michigan actually pulled it off!

This rivalry felt like it was barely a rivalry anymore because of how one-sided it had been for the past two decades.  All it takes is one win to remind everyone that it’s still a big deal.
