She said that she was only given a 2% chance to even compete. Running just over 11 seconds with a bad hamstring is really quite impressive. Still, winning gold would have been a tall order. The winning time was the second fastest ever.

WOW, the U.S. barely made it into the men’s 4x100 medley relay, an event they’ve got a perfect gold medal streak in.  Then out of lane 1 they pull out a world record to keep the streak alive.

Hell of a way to close out swimming in these Olympics.

Italian sport has had a great few weeks. Winning Euro 2021, having a man in the Wimbledon singles final for the first time and having a representative win the 100m are all massive.

If you're looking beyond sport, you've also got the Eurovision victory.
