So I mocked Alim McNeil to Detroit in a bunch of my mocks. We did draft him and he's looking really good in camp.

@DFF You been following the training camp? I feel optimistic but also think we may only win six games. I really can't wait to see a defense that isn't Patricias. Reports are Okudah looks totally changed and way more confident. The defensive line if healthy could potentially be really deep, no all pros but a bunch of really good players (we'll see obviously but the Okwara brothers, Flowers, McNeil, Brockers, Hand, and Penisini is a solid crew. Oh and our second rounder). If Hand is healthy I think they might be alright.

We definitely need more talent but I think Patricia was such a fucking garbage coach that you'll see vast improvement in a few of the holdovers from his regime.

I honestly think 6 wins might be optimistic. Our over/under in the sportsbooks is set at 4.5. I think it's between us and Houston for worst record.

That being said, we'll probably lead the league in kneecaps bitten off. It'll be fun to watch even if we're not competitive.

Between the Tigers, Red Wings, and Pistons, I've gotten pretty used to just enjoying watching young talent progress and not really worrying about wins and losses.

I must admit I had a bit of sport overload this summer so am playing catch-up now.  Yeah, I feel similarly - in the 5-7 win region. One thing that was worrying from the last report I read was just how terrible our kickers are at 50+ yard attempts. It's gonna be a steep drop off from Prater. I can see us going for it on 4th down near midfield more.

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was noncommittal on whether he would get vaccinated after being infected with COVID-19 twice in the past eight months, saying it was a "personal decision."

"I just got off the COVID list," Jackson said after Monday's practice when asked if he would get the vaccine. "I got to talk to my team about this and see how they feel about it. Keep learning as much as I can about it. We'll go from there."

Does that mean he's thinking about getting vaccinated?

"We'll see," Jackson said. "Talking to the doctors. We'll see."

Jackson returned to training camp Saturday after missing 10 days, the NFL-mandated quarantine for unvaccinated players who test positive. He acknowledged he dealt with the same symptoms from the coronavirus this time and slept a lot because of fatigue.

Reporters asked Jackson nine COVID-related questions during his nine-minute media session. Jackson was loose and animated, even when asked for a third time about getting vaccinated.

"I feel it's a personal decision," Jackson said. "I'm just going to keep my feelings to my family and myself. I'm focused on getting better right now. I can't dwell on that right now ... how everybody else feels. Just trying to get back to the right routine."

Asked about his reaction when he found out he had tested positive a second time, Jackson mouthed some words angrily and waved his arms in disgust.

"What the ... again?" Jackson said, cracking a smile. "It was crazy. I was heartbroken. I wasn't looking forward to that at all. Right before camp ... not again, not right now."

Jackson, 24, said he was not worried about the long-term effects from getting COVID-19.

"I'm taking it day by day right now," Jackson said. "I'm just glad to be back. I'm just glad to be back with my guys."

Sometimes it's extremely obvious that Lamar has his mom as his agent.

A big thing for him, and a lot of the other holdouts, is just seeing who the first team is that needs to forfeit a game. You'll see the rest of these guys line up for shots right away when that happens. Right now though it's all talk.

Probably the Vikings. They have the most unvaxxed players, if I remember right.
