Just now, Dang117 said:

Depending on what date the Bolton/Stockport match gets given I am hopefully going to be going, couple of my mates are County fans and there away days sound like so much fun so hopefully might be going to this

The missus' cousin plays for Stockport these days. Seems a bit of a fan favourite too (Southam-Hales).

Seventh-tier Buxton, the lowest-ranked side left in the FA Cup, will host League One Morecambe in the second round.

The winners of the replay between Altrincham and Gateshead will be at home to League One Charlton.

At least two non-league sides will feature in the third-round draw.

National League South St Albans City travel to National League Boreham Wood and sixth-tier Kidderminster Harriers host National League FC Halifax Town.

Elsewhere, National League Stockport County will travel to League One Rotherham if they beat Bolton Wanderers in a replay.

Buxton, who play in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, won 1-0 at York City on Saturday. They are the lowest ranked team left in the competition, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary.

League One leaders Wigan Athletic, the highest ranked side in the draw at this stage, will be away to Colchester United if they beat Solihull Moors in a replay.

League One Portsmouth, the 2008 winners, are at home to League Two Harrogate Town.

Winners in the second round - to be played between 3-6 December - will receive £34,000 in prize money as well as a spot in the third-round draw alongside Premier League and Championship clubs.

I remember when I bought that St Albans top months ago justifying breaking my "no other English clubs" rule with "they'll never play Newcastle". Now just one game away from a potential tie...

FYI I've also just ordered one of these so if Weston Rovers go on an absurd cup run next season I've got some kind of gift.

ITV selected Rochdale/Notts County v Plymouth/Sheff Wed for TV after the draw for Round 2 hoping to cash in on the large Wednesday audience, but Darren Moore's lot got thrashed 3-0 at Plymouth tonight and non-league County got knocked out too so instead they're left with the absolute thriller of Rochdale v Plymouth as their Sunday afternoon offering. Smoothly done.

After Exeter were found to have used six substitutes in Tuesday night’s FA Cup first-round replay victory, their tie with Bradford City is to be replayed.

Exeter were within competition rules in making five changes during 90 minutes but then brought on Josh Key for Sam Nombe at the start of extra time. They went on to win the game 3-0, with two goals from Matt Jay either side of an effort from Nigel Atangana.

A Football Association investigation was conducted and the governing body has now ruled the replay must be held again. The rescheduled game will take place at St James Park on Tuesday 30 November, with the winner facing Cambridge United in the second round four days later.

An FA statement read: “An extraordinary incident report was submitted by the match referee which stated that Exeter City had used a sixth substitute during their FA Cup first round replay against Bradford City on 16 November.

“After considering all of its options, and taking into account all of the relevant factors, the Professional Game Board (PGB) agreed that the result of the match should not stand. The PGB deemed that the most appropriate action would be for the match to be replayed in its entirety.”
