Well, tomorrow the sale ends at 10 AM PST. Let's just see what's there...

....OH, so it's a game like Stardew Valley, right?

......Right?

I'm sure someone's called it the Stardew Valley of Incest Porn Games.

Ever since Super Auto Pets was introduced to a wider audience (namely, Ludwig's) it went from "small, fun autobattler game with some zany strategies" to "hello, all the Pro Gamers ™️ have logged on". It's kind of a bummer.

Not for Broadcast is now out in full and has around 25% off on Steam. Currently just under £15 in the UK. Short summary, you're the editor of a news broadcast and have to choose what cameras to show to the audience as well as censor bad language and keep up with other instructions from management. It's just gone in the Guinness book of World Records due to having about 50 hours of FMV footage. It's really well made and a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions. From absurd Pythonesque skits and loads of humour to some massive drama and lots of ways your choices influence the narrative. It's hard to really describe without seeing and playing it for yourself but I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot.  Well there's 14 endings so... quite a few shots 🤣

I've been watching Northernlion play this on his stream / VODs, and it is a fucking trip. Spoilers below, and they're kinda gnarly, so?

Spoiler

At one point, depending on the choices you've made, one of the news anchors holds the newsroom hostage and demands that a tape be played. When you play the tape the leader of this government resistance faction is revealed to be a shock jock Rush Limbaugh / Alex Jones type. It all culminates with the anchor putting a gun to his head on live TV, and then you have the choice of either cutting to commercial or staying with the feed as he does it.

Yeah it's certainly a ride. To go from things like "Hey Friendship" and "Sportsboard" to things like that... So many things that can mount up and change things, some are as simple as "which ads to I play?" (which does cause changes as you play) others will be much harder choices to make. It's "great" watching it all unfold and definitely think them being real people adds to making choices that bit harder on a player.

Samwise Didier, the artist and Blizzard employee most fans considered the least problematic, has announced he's going to start selling his art as NFTs.

This sounds like Papers Please, which I thought sounded fun but as I played it I got more and more depressed...

my city of heroes group is going to have a side session night with permadeath, going for a Suicide Squad vibe.

I'm gonna add a dash of Mystery Men and The Tick to the mix.

My first contribution, Sets Himself On Fire Man.

Has anyone used the 'Family Share' thing for Steam? My buddy and I are going to try it this weekend, give each other access to one another's library. Just curious of anything we should be aware of before doing it.
