This is a fun little game. Emerson scores against his old club to do probably the only good thing he's ever done for West Ham. Chelsea keep getting in behind West Ham and have 2 disallowed goals because Moyes surprisingly has West Ham playing a higher offsides trap. 

Also, crazy to think of: half of Chelsea's outfield players are January signings!

Finding the net with offside-by-a-shoulder efforts is light years ahead of the kind of threat-less performances we've put out in recent times. I wholeheartedly approve.

With that said, 1-1 feels like the quintessential Saturday lunchtime KO scoreline and perhaps the cosmos is aligning to make it so.

1-1 between these two clubs felt like the ultimate lock in the history of locks and I regret putting my betting money on crazy Super Bowl props instead of that.

It's like this team has forgotten entirely how to play football. I really hoped our season wouldn't collapse after such a bright start but we're never going to challenge City for the league if we don't start clicking again the way we were before.

Brentford missed an open goal, hit the bar, and Mbuemo was through on goal but got pulled back for a very soft foul in that first half.

That'll be Arsenal sorting themselves out and scoring a couple in the second, then.

He was about a yard off too. It seemed live like they spent ages checking whether Soucek was marginally off (who knows) while ignoring that Rice was miles off. Weird protocol that they have to check the scorer first?

I was questioning if it was something I wasn't seeing. I know sometimes the TV angle can be a bit off, but it looked pretty straight forward - and was.

Weird day by the looks of it. Not a good one for Everton...unless we somehow beat Liverpool.

I really think Arsenal will be fine, perhaps they will look back and say "at least our blip only involved one loss". City still have to take advantage as well, they didn't last week.
