***spoilers*** TEW IX Real World Update: January 2025

Here is the update for January, nothing too drastic this month, updated WWE's broadcast deals, from what I understand most deals have ended with them going to Netflix, if they are still on TV somewhere not listed, mention and I'll correct this. Beyond that the typical updated and changes for the month, there has been a few addtions (check the whiteboard in the editor), but nothing major. The trial version finally got updated so I can now fix up the broadcast images, I'm going to try and hunt down as many of the missing images for the post WrestleMania update. Another small addition is that I've updated/expanded the "On This Day" feature, it now lists every WWF, WCW, ECW, AEW PPV along with a load of other big events, along with every 5+ star rated match and every PWI MOTY. Beyond that it's the typical updates this month, as usual anything missed mention and I'll fix/add it for next month.

I haven't updated the image/graphics packs, need to cut a few more and run them through the batch process, should be up over the weekend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is [Promotion] closed when they are active?
Due to how slow the game runs with more promotions active, I have included active promotions but have them closed, to identify these they have their opening date and closed date the same. To activate the promotion simply remove the closed date.

Can I use this mod as a base for my mod?
Feel free to use this mod as a base or in part of your own mods, just credit that this mod was used as your base.

I can't get the graphics folder to show up in TEW IX. It keeps telling me it wasn't installed correctly and is missing a bunch of sub-folders.

In the editor, click "New Pic Folder" then name it, this should give you all the required folders needed, the only thing you would need to change with my pack is to choose which style of belts you want, horizontal, or at a jaunty angle.

There is kind of a glaring problem in this update. Both Mina Shirakawa and Nicole Matthews are listed as not working in the US. Which is a problem given that Nicole is regularly booked in DPW and Mina appears in AEW. She is also not listed as having any kind of deal with AEW.

Not in the region tends to be an oversight, I know for Matthews they have had visa issues in the past hence having the US removed. but also simply fixed in game by asking them, they easilly say yes if it's your region.

As for Mina in AEW, she does pop up, but is she there enough to be locked in, I did cut a lot of the loan deals at the end of December since most seem to have come to an end.
