Watched Steel Magnolias and My Big Fat Greek Wedding for the first time last night

Last night, my wife and I just finished season 1 of The Devil's Hour. What a ride! Starting season 2 tonight, and we're excited to see where it goes!

Nosferatu (1922)

We'd both seen Herzog's and went to see the Eggers version a couple of weeks ago, so we sat down and watched the original. I quite enjoyed it. There is an element of "this was probably more scary 103 years ago" to some of the earlier scenes with Orlok that look silly now.  But on the whole a fun watch.

Alien Romulus was really good. Slightly derivative I suppose but nicely back to basics, grounding it back in a miserable looking future. The cast were great, and other than (minor spoiler given it's a major plot point)

the fact I could have lived without the ghost of Ian Holm

it was pretty much exactly want I want in an Alien film. The largely unknown cast were great too.
