As the hottest and biggest import from Italy, since Sophia Loren, Monica Bellucci has invaded Hollywood and changed the image of Hollywood beauty. She first arrived in the US in a small role as oneof Dracula's Three Brides in Bram Stoker's Dracula in 1992. After that, she worked on a lot of foreign films. However, she gained buzz in the indy world from her role in 2000's Malena. In the film, she plays a seductress in a tiny Italian village during World War II. Her biggest exposure was yet to come, though, as she starred as Persephone in the Matrix Reoladed and Revolutions. Since then, she has appeared in films such as Tears of the Sun and Spike Lee's film She Hate Me.

Even being in a few recent bombs like Femme Fatale, Godsend, and Rollerball hasn't deterred her career. The future still looks quite bright for this model/actress.

As one of the reasons men started watching the WB in the late 90s, Katie Holmes' careercan be attributed to teen drama. Her role on the show put her to instant stardom. Her turn away from teen queen came in 2000's The Gift. However, Holmes does have some bombs on the resume, especially 2002's Abandon. Still, the future of the former Creek-dweller looks quite bright.
