Does anyone know when 'Tom Goes To The Mayor' is going to premeir? A friend of mine said he saw a commercial for it the other night on adult swim.

The only shows that I watch on Adult Swim are the comedies. And half of them aren't even good. Family Guy, Aqua Teen, and Futurama are the only ones I watch with any regularity.

I think he means the term Adult Swim in itself. Which refers to public swimming pools that set aside a time for all the kids to get out of the pool and only adults can swim.

Anyway, no offense to the anime fans, but I just can't get into it, especially on television with commercials.

And GM, did you know that CN is also picking up the series Read Or Die? I haven't seen it, but I know they sometimes air episodes of it on G4TechTV's Anime Unleashed program.

Hm, it may be the movie. I just know that I was watching AS and I caught a commercial promoting Read or Die, didn't say whether it was the movie or the series, anything.

The OVAs( which came out first oddly. Since normally it's the series THEN the OVas but eh whatever ) a.k.a. " the movie " as you called it is what Adult Swim will be airing. They also tried to get the series( which if i remember correctly hasn't ended in japan yet even. So it's pretty new ) but TechTV got that and that's what it has been showing. Or whatever the hell it's called now a days....stupid comcast...

Right now, the only Adult Swim comedies that look to be excessively funny are Sealab and Venture Bros. ATHF is past its prime now, Birdman was never really hysterical, the Brak Show just plain started to suck before its cancellation, and Space Ghost has tragically lost it too.

I'm excited for Fullmetal Alchemist, though. I've heard great things about that.

Not much of a loss, if you ask me. I'm not saying InuYasha is a bad show, it's a fun show, but it gets insanely repetetive, plus I have the first 36 episodes on DVD anyway
