After being taught some very harsh lessons about the world of professional wrestling, Rob Black and Lizzy Borden decided to stick with what they know best; porn. XPW was dead. Gone forever. Banished forever by the very same people that created it. Or was it?

An unexpected phone call made by a wealthy young businessman by the name of Mikey Maines secured XPW a future. For a nominal fee, Maines secured one broken, disgraced and tarnished wrestling promotion.

However, the young man Maines had a vision. He had optimisim. If XPW certified itself as the most outlandish, revolutionary wrestling promotion in the world, minus the backstage politics and sub-par workers, it could defy all the odds, and become the new trend in pro wrestling.

Could it be done? Could a dream become a reality? Could the people that once rallied against XPW, united in their hate, forget about the past, and help XPW realise its potential?

Well ladies and gentlemen, we are about to find out the answer to all of your questions...

XPW IS BACK! HUGE NEWS ABOUT RETURNING SHOW!

Ladies and gentlemen, after a long absence, Xtreme Pro Wrestling is proud to announce that we are back, and under new ownership!

It's been a long time see we have been spilling blood and guts for our fans, but on the 12th December XPW will host it's HUGE RETURN SHOW in Los Angeles, appropriately named 'Did Ya Miss Us?'.

News and matches for DYMU will be revealed in the coming days and weeks right here at xpwrestling.com, so stay tuned. However, one piece of news has broken out already...

XPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION MISSING?

XPW match-makers have desperately trying to contact the XPW World Heavyweight Champion, 'The Franchise' Shane Douglas for the past few days, but it appears that he has fallen off the face of the Earth! XPW officials have contacted several of Douglas closest friends and family members, but apparently upon hearing about XPW's return, Douglas suddenly disappeared without warning.

There is no doubt in anybody's mind here at xpwrestling.com that 'The Franchise' was a fighting champion even if he was incredibly obnoxious, and that his presence at DYMU would be greatly missed. XPW officials will continue to do their best to contact Mr.Douglas, and as soon as their is any news about his location and status with XPW, we will report it right here at xpwrestling.com.

That's it for now, but be sure to check back in the coming weeks for exciting XPW news on Shane Douglas, as well as DYMU news!

CHALLENGE LAID DOWN FOR HARDCORE LEGEND!

In a shocking turn of events, Danny Daniels walked into a recent XPW board meeting un-invited with his client, the former ECW World Tag Team Champion, Roadkill. After pondering the offer, the board decided to grant Daniels and his monster their wish, and their 'hardcore legend' opponent will be revealed soon. Which 'legend' will XPW bring in? Stay tuned right here at xpwrestling.com to find out first in the coming days!

'THE FRANCHISE' IS GIVEN A DEADLINE!

As cool as this sounds, I'm expecting nothing from it one bit. You, Standard, can't do a diary for over two weeks, and then move onto something else. People actually want to read this, and will be disappointed when you start a new diary in two weeks at most! Just stop now

For fucks sake, post something of meaning. All these fucking things could have been put into 1 post, they're not long are they? I could understand if they were long press releases but they're not. And you're not even finished yet. I hate it when people post lots of little updates and then say "Well it's an indy diary, they constantly update stuff" (Most typical in ROH diaries, who have like 100 Locker Room Scoops before a show) so if you come back with that line I swear i'll have a nervous breakdown. Were all these posts nessissery, honestly? Yeah I know they're all adding something to the story, but if they were together they would also add to the story. So what comes across is that you're adding to your post count and bumping your diary up the page.

I apologize for any of my general douchery in my posts in this thread.

I'm interested to see what direction you will take XPW in, seeing as how there are many XPW purists on this board. Also, I'm automatically interested in anything non-WWE.

On the other hand, I agree that you could've combined most of these press releases into one posts, and I'd like to see more of a roster and first card before I pass any further judgement.

Good luck and again, sorry for being a dickbag.
