Can anyone recommend me some good funk rock bands, or maybe even specific tracks? To be honest, the only funk rock band that even springs to mind is RHCP. See, I've been offered a vocalist spot in a funk-rock band, but I don't know what they're looking for lyrically or what sort of style. Any help would be much appreciated

And look for stuff with Bootsy Collins on Bass, he's funk's best known bassist and is right up there with Les Claypool, and does indeed do some stuff that is more funk rock than funk.
