SURVIVAL IS IMMINENT

9 November 2003

Its the last episode of Raw before WWE Survivor Series, and tonight's Main Event is sure to get the heart racing. In a hate filled match, the Champion Goldberg faces Evolution's Batista in a chance for even more revenge. Because it was two weeks ago when Batista claimed the $100,000 dollar bounty and destroyed Bill Goldberg.

Al Snow proclaimed last night on Heat that he has a surprise Maven will never forget ahead of him. After Maven walked out victorious against Robert Conway, his winning streak is growing, and will what Al Snow puts down be able to stop him ahead of Survivor Series?

The phenominon that is Jon Heidenreich has a fan base growing, namely one Hurricane. Tonight, the two face off against Rene Dupree and Sylvain Grenier to become the Number One contenders to the tag titles. Will we ever find out who 'Little Johnny' is?

All this and more, on an action packed Raw, Monday night on Spike TV!

The V Report for WWE Raw

Countdown to Survivor Series

Date: Monday, 10 November 2003

Attendance: 7005

-Opening video and pyros and we are here for another V Report for WWE Raw

-Hosts are Jim Ross and The King

-La Resistance v. Jon Heidenreich & The Hurricane]

Winners are #1 Contenders for the WWE Tag Team Titles which is currently held by the Dudley Boyz. Average match at best here, but Heidenreich seems to be getting a bit of a reaction now. Hurricane is super over, now would be the time to push him if he was to be pushed. Why is he on Raw? Commentators basically use this match to hype the main event for tonight with Goldberg and Batista, and how this is chance for revenge for Bill Goldberg. Rene Dupree gets a rollup on the Hurricane after gouging him in the eyes, grabs a handful of tights and uses the ropes for leverage for the win at 4:24. ** 1/2, nothing that insulted me. We head to our first...

Commercial break

-Maven v. Matt Hardy

Must be close to that MASSIVE announcement from Al Snow, and that is what JR and Lawler go on about throughout. Not a great match by Hardy's standards, and didn't use his TV time to an advantage, Maven seems to be carrying an injury aswell. Good spot in the middle was Maven going for the dropkick from the top rope and nailing Hardy who was outside. Moonsault finishes Hardy at 5:11. ** 1/4 because Maven really needs an actual finisher. Dropkicks and moonsaults aren't finishers.

-Al Snow now comes down to the ring. He begins to talk to Maven, insulting him and then talking himself up. He then says Maven's recent form has been impressive, but still Snow is better. He then announces a surprise that Eric Bischoff allowed. Maven has a match at Survivor Series against a former WWE (WWF) Tag Team Champion and former WCW Tag Team Champion. He introduces...Brian Adams?! For one night only, Adams will wrestle in the WWE. Snow says Adams will crush every bone in Maven's body. Adams stand behind Snow doing stupid taunts the whole time. JR nearly blows his head off in excitement, when seriously, there is absolutely NOTHING to be excited about.

-We move backstage where The Hurricane, Jon Heidenreich and Rosey are with Eric Bischoff. They are complaining that they were robbed of the match they fought earlier. Biscoff agrees and makes a #1 Contenders rematch for Survivor Series. But seeing it wouldn't be fair to have it on even terms seeing as they did win the match, it is a handicap match, Hurricane and Heidenreich against all of La Resistance. Hurricane and Heidenreich 'dig that' and exit. Rosey walks up to Bischoff. Aparantly he wants to know why Heidenreich gets to tag with the Hurricane when he has been his partner longer. Bischoff hasn't got time for this, and has an announcement. Rosey isn't happy.

Commercial break

-Eric Bischoff is in the ring. He challenges Stone Cold to come down. He offers to give the public a little taste of what they can expect at Survivor Series tonight. He proposes to change the Main Event to a lumberjack match. SCSA agrees and that is that.

-Rob Van Dam © v. Christian

Intercontinental Title. Solid match, one of the better Van Dam matches you will see, but it was Christian carrying it. Notice this is the first title match I've actually reported on? Ouch. I don't see why they would use this match before the PPV, considering it would be better used if somebody didn't have they one-up-man-ship over another so close to the PPV. Anyway, ending comes as Christian taunts a bit, and gets kicked in the head. Van Dam goes rolling thunder, setting up the Frog Splash for the retain at 8:23. *** 1/2 for a very good TV match. Christian gets annoyed after the match, saying he kicked out at two. He runs up the ramp after Van Dam and floors him from behind. He grabs the belt and is screaming that is should be his.

Commercial break

-Shane McMahon comes down to the ring before his match with Kane at Survivor Series. He begins talking about how he attacked Kane last week, and how he won. Sure he was as bloody as an abatoir, but still. He then rolls the footage of how he attacked Kane with a crowbar in the carpark, and then beat him up with a picket. McMahon was obviously beaten up before with all the blood over him, but we don't need to know that. McMahon continues the interview, calling out Kane. But Kane only appears on the TitanTron, right where they will be having their match at Survivor Series. He talks about how behind him is the ambulance Shane will be shoved in. Same sadistic talking here on how much Kane will beat up Shane. Come Sunday, somebody's career will be ruined, and if Kane loses, take it litterally.

-Chris Jericho v. Shawn Michaels

Very solid match here between the two, Jericho beginning off with taunts to Michaels. King talks about their past meetings, namely WrestleMania, where Jericho, the gentleman he is, nailed Michaels in the netheregions post match (King: I like that sort of...edge in him) As I said it was good match, but unfortunately, Ross was talking about our revised Main Event in the middle of it. Oh joy. A low blow from Jericho to Michaels causes the DQ at 7:53. *** although would have been **** if it didn't have a shit finish. I mean, if you HAVE to end a match in DQ, enlighten me to as WHY it has to be a pissy low blow. Why not a chair shot, or a sledgehammer. Come on. Get masculine.

-Molly Holly is backstage being interviewed by Terri. She rips into Lita, and says how she is going to tear through her at Survival Series. Very...I don't know how to put it...default like interview, nothing groundbreaking. They haven't really built the tension for this match much more since three weeks ago. Women's title has to go if they don't care about as much as they do at the moment. Its pointless.

Commercial break

-Goldberg (/w Shawn Michaels, The Dudley Boys, Rob Van Dam & Booker T) v. Batista (/w Triple H, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Christian & Mark Henry)

Lumberjack match. Non title. It had to happen. A badly booked match. We start off and Christian and Rob Van Dam continue their fight from before, as do Michaels and Jericho. That leaves three lumberjacks for a match that doesn't last long. All hell breaks loose as Triple H comes straight in soon and gives Goldberg a Pedigree. Usual Survivor Series brawl as Jericho, Van Dam, Michaels and Christian become involved. DQ draw called for at 1:23 with minimal offence. *. Goldberg finishes off the night with a spear on Batista, only to be Pedigreed again. We go off air.

The V Word - Not a bad show, mainly because of two good matches. Main event sucked wang, but it can be expected. I expect Survivor Series to be alright, unfortunately some down points in this show...

  • The World Heavyweight Title match got ZERO TV Time
  • Brian Adams returned
  • Brian Adams returned (I think it deserves two)
That's all from me, see you at Smackdown! Edited by The Flamin Mongrel

Smackdown Preview from WWE.com

WWE.com reports;

LAST ROLL OF THE DICE

13 November 2003

The final Smackdown! before Survivor Series, and things are reaching boiling point!

The talk of the wrestling world this week has been John Cena aligning himself with Paul Heyman, when everybody believed he was straying over to Team Angle. Tonight, John Cena will have to face Kurt Angle, one on one, ahead of their Survivor Series match up.

Also, in tag team action it is experience against inexperience. The APA take on Team Lesnar's monsters, Nathan Jones and Matt Morgan in a huge contest. Don't write off the APA, they have all the experience in the world.

With Chavo Guerrero holding a bit of hostility toward Eddie, how will that unfold tonight ahead of Survivor Series. It is understood the Basham's can't wait to get their hands on Eddie either after last week's acts.

Also, Buried Alive action is approaching, and after last week being mocked by Vince McMahon, The Undertaker will be live via sattelite from a hotel room in New York, outside the two state radius of Vince McMahon. We get the chance to hear his views before Survivor Series.

Don't miss this and more, the final Smackdown before Survivor Series, UPN on Thursday night.

Awesome diary so far, but just one thing. You wrote Heidenreich & Maven vs. La Resistance in the opening match for RAW, when it was really Heidenreich & Hurricane. Just thought I'd point that out..

The V Report for WWE Smackdown!

All Burnt and Buried!

Date: Thursday, 13 November 2003

Attendance: 7007

-Pyros and opening video go off and we are here for WWE Smackdown, the last one before Survivor Series

-Hosts are Michael Cole and Tazz

-Bradshaw and Faarooq v. Big Nathan Jones & Slightly Smaller Matt Morgan

Oh my dear lord. Gee, why wouldn't this match make people sit on the edge of their seats in anticipation for this show. Horrible match, and the announcers seem to be oblivious to it. Thank god the tag teams go early at Survivor Series. Jones and Morgan dominate for most of the match, till a Clothesline from Hell and from nowhere gets the APA back in. Unfortunately for them and thankfully for us, a BIG Jones BIG Boot connects on Faarooq at 3:22 who I do not think has ever one a match from his moves. * because this was painful. Has he ever won a match Faarooq off his move. Its coz I is black.

-Are you Tough Enough? We find out that the first riviting installment of Tough Enough begins on Smackdown after Survivor Series, where we go from ten to one. That's ten weeks cause nobody gets eliminated first show. We find out a bit about each of our contestants, Adam Contessa is a stable boy...What a living. William Regal ofcourse is our head trainer. Our contestants are as follows, Adam Contessa, Billy Nathans, Christophe Masters (Another Frenchman), Johnny Frants, Jon Adam Birchill, Mark Lorne, Mike Stelle, Rick Stynes, Rod Albeone and Ryan Wing. Aparantly, Mike Stelle has the nickname Tiger. Oh boy.

Commercial break.

-Eddie Guerrero v. Danny Basham (/w Doug Basham and Shaniqua)

Pretty solid match, hardly anything offensive. Cole and Tazz spend the duration talking about what is wrong with Chavo Guerrero, and why he is being a prick. Ofcourse, Doug is at ringside along with Shaniqua, while Chavo isn't. I really am undecided over the Chavo/Eddie fued they seem to be heading for. Ending comes Eddie takes control over Danny, and then comes the switcheroo. Eddie picks this, drags Danny in, and puts them both together while the ref is down. You do notice they look nothing like each other. Danny is pushed out though, and a Shining Wizard ends the Basham night at 6:13. ** 1/4 as it was given good time, but didn't really do enough. Doug and Danny get the beatdown on Eddie, still no Chavo. We head to a...

Commercial break

-We see Chavo sitting in the dressing room. Eddie barges in unhappily. He asks where Chavo was when he was being beaten up. Chavo ignores this and says they have a match against the Bashams at Survivor Series for the tag titles. Eddie asks why the hell he didn't help him. Chavo gets annoyed saying nothing he does is good for 'holier then thou' Eddie. He storms off leaving Eddie fuming.

-Jamie Noble v. Akio (/w Tajiri and Sakoda)

Non title. Stellar match, definately match of the night, and was given a good five or six minutes to pan out well. Akio really showed his wares, and the crowd were starting to get into it. Cole and Tazz really talked up the both of them, lets hope Tajiri and Noble really do something as good as this at Survivor Series. Just as Noble looks like he has control, Tajiri taps him on the back of the leg. Noble turns and gets given the Green Mist. Akio then goes to the top rope, and as Noble stumbles around, he gives him a Hurricanarana for the win at 6:12. *** 3/4, not the 4 or five stars that Michael Cole rated it.

Commercial break

-Brock Lesnar is out here with Big Show, Nathan Jones and Matt Morgan, talking up Team Lesnar ahead of the big match at Survivor Series. He said John Cena is busy preparing for his match. He goes through all of the people and how much they will be beaten. Then he gets to Hardcore Holly. He talks about how much he enjoyed destroying his neck, and how he will do it again. Then, he is suddenly interrupted by a video with Hardcore Holly's music (Yes, starting off with How do you like me now?). It is actually a pretty good video, it shows the footage of Lesnar hurting Holly's neck, replaying it in slow motion and in black and white. It also zooms in on the point of impact. Holly talks about in the background about how Lesnar destroyed his career, and sent Holly plumetting to low depths. And though the death of Crash Holly got him down (this is the first mention of this death on WWE TV) he found inspiration in it. He then talks about Crash Holly (very nice bit here) and then gets onto how, come Sunday he will back in the ring, back better than ever. It finishes off with his mouth on camera saying, 'Lesnar, I am going to cause as much pain to you, as you did to me...' Lesnar is in the ring starring, mouth wide open. Nice segment.

Commercial break

-We now get the interview with the Undertaker that was prerecorded. Tazz is interviewing him. They go basically only over the match at Survivor Series. When asked, what he wants to do to Vince McMahon (Taker: There are so many things, but I can't mention them on TV at this hour) he basically said that McMahon underestimated the power of the Undertaker, and Vince will be the one buried alive. After a few minutes, there is knock at the door and 'Room Service' is called out. Taker answers the door, and Tazz stays sitting down in the hotel. We hear a sound and Taker shouting out. Tazz runs over and so does the camera. There is fire on the ground and Taker is on the ground writhing in pain. We get a close up of his face and bits of skin have been singed off. Disturbing. We get back to the arena, and Tazz says he has no idea who did it, but it wasn't the guy delivering food.

Commercial break

-John Cena v. Kurt Angle

Main event. Let me say, these two have different styles, a lot different. And they don't suit each other when Cena struggles with his own. Not a great match, and very disappointing by Angle's standards, not being able to carry a younger wrestler to a good match when he can carry Big Show. Match didn't last long at all, Cena is still getting pops which is disappointing, but this angle between Angle (pardon the pun) and Cena may become interesting after last week. Match ends in a double countout at 5:11 as they just brawl outside. **. Everybody apart from Holly ofcourse become involved. And the usual Survivor Series brawl errupts as we go off air.

The V Word: Good show leading to Survivor Series. Interesting Undertaker segment that they showed the face on TV, just pushing the envelope. Noble/Akio was outstanding, and I hope that Tajiri/Noble will deliver as it has been built up well. Jones hasn't improved, but Morgan has talent, very mobile for a big guy. We see what happens with Cena this Sunday, only one more show to go, and that's Velocity. See you Saturday. Solid card for SS, and nice to see the old style Survivor matches making a return.

Ohio Hires and Fires

I an a shifting of the guard, Ohio Valley Wrestling today had numerous changes talent wise. While five new wrestlers made their way into the territory, Brian Anthony, Johnny Vandal, Jack Xavier, Travis Finity and Wenzel, five also departed for bigger things in other promotions. Seven, Nikita Fink, Inspector Max Impact,  Alexis Laree and Travis Bane all departed. This is the beggining of younger signings, as everybody signed today was under the age of 23.

The V Report for WWE Velocity

Date: Saturday, 15 November 2003

Attendance: 7507

-Pyros and such to begin with...

-Host are Josh Matthews and Bill DeMott

-Orlando Jordan v. Johnny Stamboli

Jordan is Velocity. I can't remember a person being such a regular on this show and make ZERO impact. Ugly match, and Jordan looked like he had the coordination of a slug in this match. Stamboli isn't all too bad, and seems to have that superstar look, but alas, nobody will capitalise on it. Forget About It at 4:12, and FINALLY I GET TO USE MY PHRASE...Forget About It...I WILL! * 1/4, awful.

-We get a replay of the WHOLE interview segment with the Undertaker from Smackdown.

We now get the interview with the Undertaker that was prerecorded. Tazz is interviewing him. They go basically only over the match at Survivor Series. The V Report for the Pre Survivor Series WWE Heat Show

Date: Sunday, 16 November 2003

Attendance: Around 4 000 in the crowd at the moment

-Your hosts are Jonathan Coachman and Al Snow

-We find out that the handicap match scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to time constraints

-Molly Holly © v. Lita

Women's Title is on the line. Not a good quality of match here. Molly deserves more. The two begin squaring off and it begins with Molly slapping Lita, knocking her off her feet. Molly continues taking control over a hapless Lita as she slugs away in the corner of the ring. Lita is sent straight into the PADDED TURNBUCKLE. Gee, that's got to hurt... And boy it does, somehow, this has hurt Lita's neck already. Snow continues to rabble on about how stupid Maven is. Wonderful. Molly goes a-working on poor Lita's neck for the next few minutes, before actually dropkicking her out of the ring. Molly goes onto the apron, and then fly clotheslines Lita down. A bit of a beatdown and she returns to the ring after a count of six. Lita stumble's to the apron, but Molly slides and kicks Lita in the face. Crowd boos and Molly taunts. Molly shoves Lita back into the ring, and a cover for the two count. Molly not happy, and we are four minutes in and still no offence from Lita. Molly places Lita up on the turnbuckle and then steps back for a bit. She comes flying from the other corner with a clothesline. She goes for it again, but gets nailed with a kick to the face. Classy. Lita begins the usual face fightback with some slaps to Molly's face. Molly is now sent face first into the ground with a leg sweep. Lita goes up top for a Moonsault, but Molly moves, allowing Lita to plant herself on the mat. Molly then waits for Lita to groggily turn and she jumps off the top rope and hits the Molly Go Round at 6:23 and Molly retains her title. * 3/4, nothing too disgraceful, but not pretty. Molly continues to beat down on Lita to the crowd's dismay.

The ppV Report WWE Survivor Series

Date: Sunday, 16 November 2003

Attendance: 16 835

-We are live for WWE Survivor Series 2003 here in wherever the hell we are. Heat earlier saw Molly Holly retain the title over Lita, and also we found out that The Hurricane & Heidenreich/La Resistance match is NOT going ahead. Oh that's a shame. Amazingly, this is a huge day for me, myself and V Wrestling's first ppV Report for a a PPV. Not too bad of a card. Cole and Tazz are announcing first after Ross and King are introduced and we run down the whole card. Here we go...Survivors ready!

-The Basham Brothers © v. Los Guerreros

Tag Team Title Match. Will he? Won't he? That is the question on everybody's lips regarding Chavo Guerrero. Let's hope he doesn't as the Bashams are not getting any heat, what-so-ever. Eddie and Doug to begin the match, and they lock up to start with. Basham wins the strength contest, pushing Guerrero in to the PADDED TURNBUCKLE. Good god, Eddie has put his back out with the ferocity of that push. Doug tags out already, and Danny begins to pummel Eddie with some right hand fisticuffs. I love that word. Fisticuff. Rolls off the tongue don't it. Anyway, we're back at Survivor Series and the control is square in the favour of good ol' Danny Basham who seems to have beaten down Eddie a fair bit since last time we saw them. He continues a bit, before Eddie elbows him in the face and tags in Chavo. Chavo comes in with a clothesline on both men, and gets working on the legs of Danny Basham. He bounces off the ropes, and comes flying in with a crossbody. First cover for a two. Chavo gets up and Eddie calls for the tag. No way Ed from Chavo as he knees Basham in the stomach followed by a faceplant. Cover for the two. Chavo goes off the ropes, but Doug gets in the way with a shoulder block, sending Chavo down. Doug is tagged in and he comes bursting through with a drop knee into Chavo's thigh. He drags him back to his corner. Doug continues to beat away for a bit, until Chavo gets a punch back, before dropkicking Doug onto his back. Chavo stands up taunting Doug, but Danny comes and elbows him. Chavo stumbles back, and Eddie tags himself in. Chavo doesn't look happy. Eddie goes up and wins the titles for Los Guerreros with a frog splash on Doug at 8:38. *** as it worked well for a tag match. Chavito ain't happy Eddie tagged himself in, but he's now a co-champion as this storyline goes further.

-Maven v. Brian Adams

We get a bit of video of the recent fued between Snow and Maven, and here we go, Brian Adams is in the WWE...Scary...Adams lumbers out to start with, alongside no reaction. I really hope he is actually here for one night only. He was at Raw though, that means two. I'm confused. Adams start and gets in a couple of punches on Maven. Maven sells them, really well as he is sent into the ropes. Adams irish whips him into a big boot, and Maven falls flat. Adams lifts Maven above his head, and lands a press slam. Not the way to go so far. Maven's push is going down the shithole at the moment. Adams picks him up again, sends Maven into the ropes, but is kicked in the face to a solid pop from the crowd. Maven then bounces off the ropes and hits a cross body on Adams, making him stumble over. Adams gets back up, and catches the next crossbody, slamming Maven's back into the turnbuckle. Maven flops around the ring, straight into a Full Nelson hold from Adams. He goes to hit him with the Full Nelson Bomb (PATENTED Full Nelson Bomb according to Ross), but Maven flips out of it, and pushes him into the turnbuckle. A dropkick to the back of Adams' head, follows up by a roll up gives Maven the win at 6:03. * 1/4. Total shit. Adams rolls out and Snow runs in with a chair, savagely whacking Maven over the head with it. GO AL GO!

-Tajiri © v. Jamie Noble

Cruiserweight Title Match. THIS is the way to work a singles match people, even if it is shorter! Wonderful. The two lock up to start with, and series of reversals from both of them. Tajiri has some kicks blocked, and then a Dragon Screw from Noble puts him back into the driver's seat. Noble bounces off the ropes and crossbodies Tajiri, before hitting a leg drop. A cover gets two. Tazz talks about how Noble is one of the toughest blokes in the WWE, but he will be tested against the hardness of Tajiri's kicks. Noble continues to take control of Tajiri with some sleeper holds, but the flexibility of Tajiri allows him to kick him in the head. Tajiri then fights back and gets Noble into a corner, where he continually kicks Noble in the ribs. Tajiri then moves back, charges in and to a huge reaction kicks Noble in the face while flipping, and then landing on his feet. Tajiri then runs back in and dropkicks him square in the face and taunts the crowd to some heat. He goes for another dropkick, but this time Noble stops it and smacks Tajiri in the face. Noble takes control and works the more technical match. This leads to that and as Noble sets Tajiri up for a powerbomb, the FBI start walking down to the ring. All three surround the ring at different spots. Noble looks confused, but goes for the Powerbomb anyway. Tajiri begins hitting Noble and as Noble falls back, he knocks the referee over. At this stage the FBI swarm the ring and begin to beat down on Noble. Nunzio hits the Sicilian Drop as the other two do their chin taunts. They exit the ring and Tajiri is looking very grateful. The referee comes to his senses and Tajiri covers for the retain at 8:12. *** 1/2, the best match so far, came off without a hitch and got the crowd interested.

-Kane v. Shane McMahon

Ambulance Match. An ambulance is driven to the front of the ring, with the doors open, facing the ring. Let's hope Buried Alive later isn't as bad as this was. Ugh. Kane starts off in the ring pummelling Shane with some lefts and rights. Damn, could have used fisticuffs then. Okay...He pummels him with some FISTICUFFS~! Kane immediately throws him to the outside, and then follows him out and punches him onto the announcer's table. Shane rolls around a bit, before kicking Kane in the shins up on the table. Kane stumbles around a bit, and Shane looks under the ring for a chair. He smacks Kane in the knee with the chair for a bit. Kane makes the usual fightback from here, grabs the chair and smacks Shane with it. Very abrupt ending as he nails a tombstone right next to the ambulance. He loads Shane onto the stretcher and places him in with a bit of his head sticking out. He closes the door, smacking Shane's head on the way through, and the ambulance drives off, sirens blaring, at 4:01. DUD. Too short for even a TV Match, net-a-lone a PPV Gimmick match. Could have done so much more with it. Shane is a willing bumper, at least give us something like that that we can enjoy a bit.

-Team Bischoff (Jericho, Orton, Christian, Batista, Henry) v. Team Austin (Van Dam, Michaels, D. Dudley, B. Dudley, Booker)

Survivor Style Match. If Bischoff's team wins, Austin is fired. If Austin's team wins, Steve Austin can attack who he wants, when he wants. The rule is lifted. Henry and Bubba Ray Dudley begin this one, a bit of brawling totally controlled by Henry to start with. This goes for thirty seconds before a World's Strongest Slam gets a pinfall. Bubba Ray Dudley is eliminated at 0:43. D-Von jumps in and gets a punch on Henry, put he is ended from a World's Strongest Slam aswell. D-Von Dudley is eliminated at 0:58. In jumps Booker T, but he is grounded by a shoulder block from Henry. Henry locks him into a bearhug and slowly drains the energy away from him. After that he just flips him around and gives HIM a World's Strongest Slam to. Booker T is eliminated at 1:46. In under two minutes we have lost three wrestlers. Unbelievable, and what's worse, all to Mark Henry. Anyway, HBK hops into the ring and I am running out of ways to say how people enter the ring. Henry looks fairly confident with the match being 5 on 2. He goes for a punch on Michaels, but Michaels ducks this and then comes flying back with a clothesline. It doesn't knock Henry off his feet, so Michaels does it again. Henry stumbles a bit, but shakes it off. He tried again, but is grabbed by the throat and lifted high up. Henry drops him from high and Michaels sells this a lot. Henry tags in Christian. Christian walks around all cockily around Michaels and taunts him, but gets punched in the kneecap and he goes down. Michaels completely squashes him with a SCM for the pin. Christian is elimated at 4:12. So now its 4 on 2 as Mard Henry lumbers back into the ring. Michaels gets a punch in before tagging in Rob Van Dam. Van Dam does his thumb taunt before kicking Henry in the shins and rolling over him to bounce off the ropes and bulldogs him. Was that really necessary? It would have been the same without the flips. He goes for the rolling thunder and it connects. The same as above, would it not be easier to...oh I don't know...JUST JUMP ON HIM WITH YOUR KNEES!? Oh, no your right, this isn't real life. Van Dam continues to kick the living shit out of Henry, before hitting the 5* Frog Splash, those five stars are possibly the only ones we'll see in this match. Mark Henry is eliminated at 6:04. In comes Randy Orton for the first time and he and Van Dam exchange punches, sloppy punches mind you as with any Van Dam match up. Orton goes for the RKO, but is pushed straight into the turnbuckle. Van Dam jumps to the top rope and then flies off and kicks Orton in the face. Orton stumbles around and is elbowed by Shawn Michaels. Michaels is tagged in and he gets all religious on us with his signals and what not. He smacks around Orton a bit, before a dropkick puts Orton back into his corner and Batista is tagged in. Michaels goes straight up to Batsista and begins to bad mouth him. Batista no likey this and Michaels is thrown by the throat into another turnbuckle. Batista begisn to chop him HARD on the chest and then sends him to the opposite turnbuckle. A charging clothesline doesn't make Michaels feel happy as he falls flat on his face. Cover for two. Batista tags in Jericho who drops a knee on Michaels' back. He lifts him up and sends him so FAST into the turnbuckle the sheer velocity of it makes him flip. Yeah right JR, we know he jumps. Orton gets tagged straight back in and goes to work on Michaels' back aswell, but a SCM from absolutely NO WHERE ends his night. Randy Orton is elimated at 13:06. Baista comes in and Van Dam is tagged in. Van Dam goes for a few kicks on Batista but Batista blocks them and gives him a spinebuster for two. Michaels tries to get it but the referee stops him. Jericho comes in and begins to attack the back of Van Dam. He exits as the referee is done with Michaels. Batista has no problem ending Van Dam with a sit out powerbomb. Rob Van Dam is eliminated at 13:52. We are down to 2 on 1. Batista works away on Michaels with some impact moves focusing on his back. Michaels just has no chance here against Batista. Batista hits a sit out powerbomb, but Michaels kicks out! Batista tags in Jericho who begins to work on the back of Michaels still and he locks in an abdominal stretch. Michaels gets out of it and goes for a SCM from no where, but Jericho just flips him up. He goes for the Lionsault, but Michaels moves, making him land face first on the mat. Cover for the two count. Jericho slowly raises to his feet and Michaels hits him with a Sweet Chin Music. Cover, 1...2...Kick out! Gee, this is actually exciting. Michaels begins stamping in his corner looking hurt as Jericho rises to his feet. He goes for another Sweet Chin Music, but Jericho grabs his leg in the air. Shoulder block knocks Michaels down and Jericho grabs the other end. Walls of Jericho. Michaels crawls his way to the ropes and grabs on, but Jericho pulls him back into the middle of the ring. Michaels has no choice but to tap out. Shawn Michaels is eliminated at 16:53. Chris Jericho and Batista are the sole survivors. *** 1/2, early match was shit, but the final five wrestlers really put it all in and it came out well. Austin comes oujt to a huge reaction even though he's just been fired. Michaels looks up at him gingerly and Austin helps him up. I'm guessing a stunner is coming. No, I'm wrong, Michaels is offered a beer and they both drink it thanks to a great effort from HBK. Austin offers Batista and Jericho beers, they accept. They stand next to each other drinking. Austin smiles, kicks them both in the gut and delivers a double stunner. Crowd go nuts, they drink beer before we go to an add for the sponsors of the WWE.

-The Undertaker v. Vince McMahon

Buried Alive Match. What a heap of crap this was. Unbelievably shit. 'Taker has bandages over bits of his face from Smackdown. Match starts in the ring, and 'Taker takes absolute control. He beats up McMahon for about a minute, before throwing him to the outside. 'Taker follows him and begins to stomp on McMahon. McMahon crawls up the stage in recoil as 'Taker follows him sadisticly. 'Taker lifts McMahon to his feet, and gets slapped by Vince. He goes to punch him, but Vince ducks and jumps onto 'Taker's back. The Undertaker isn't happy, and so he lets himself fall backward onto McMahon on the steel. 'Taker then goes up to the dirtpatch with McMahon over his shoulder, he slams him down on the sand, and grabs a spade. He begins to dig in the dirt, getting the hole ready for McMahon to go into. Out of nowhere, Kane sits up through the sand, causing the Undertaker to be surprised. We see 'Taker mouth the words 'You again' and before Kane grabs 'Taker by the neck and chokeslams him into the hole. McMahon then proceeds to attack him with a spade and bury him alive at 7:12. DUD, just like the Ambulance match was. Terrible booking. And we all knew it was Kane who burned 'Taker's face. And we move straight on, who cares if a guy is buried in sand. Its wrestling.

-Goldberg © v. Triple H (/w Ric Flair)

World Heavyweight Title Match. The two lock up in the middle off the ring to start with and Triple H takes early control. He pushes Goldberg into the turnbuckle and starts shouldering him in the ribs. He sends him to the other turnbuckle and then flies in with a clothesline. He smirks, only to be grounded by a right hander from Goldberg. Bill then back suplexes Triple H onto the mat right near the ropes. A bit of brawling continues for the next minute or so, as we expected, and I am yet to see one good move. A sloppy press slam from Bill gets the two count. The two continue to fight around the ring for a bit, before Triple H then kicks Goldy right on the kneecap, causing to go onto one knee. This should be good. HHH locks in some sort of leglock on Goldberg causing him to WRITHE...WRITHE I SAY...writhe in pain on the ground. Goldberg manages to get out of this with a solid kick to the back of the head. A press slam for two. He shoves Triple H under his arm, setting him up for the Jackhammer. But Flair distracts the referee and a kick to the Jatz Crackers stops that. 3H gets off the ground at the count of 8 and then beats away at Goldberg's body. For the next minute or so, they just sloppily attack each other. As Goldberg begins to take control again, a dodged punch from Triple H hits the referee and knocks him out cold. Goldberg takes full control and a press slam would have had the three, but the ref wasn't awake. Triple H crawls to a corner and gets up groggily. Goldberg sets him up for the spear, but Flair passes him a sledgehammer. Trips turns around and nails Goldberg in the face with the hammer as the referee begins to stir. He throws the sledgehammer out of the ring and covers Goldberg for the three at 10:07. Triple H wins the title again. ** as this was extremely sloppy. Why does 3H HAVE to win the title again. Especially by a sledgehammer shot. Poor ending. Speaking of poor, that was a hugely sloppy match, so why bother with a shitty ending aswell. Crowd got involved, only for Goldberg, I knew he'd lose though. The 3H syndrome strikes again.

-Team Lesnar (Lesnar, Show, Cena, Morgan, Jones) v. Team Angle (Angle, Holly, Ben-WAAH, Bradshaw, Faarooq)

Survivor Style Match. Lets hope this one can be as good as the one earlier tonight. Bradshaw and Morgan start. They both slug away at each other for a bit, before Bradshaw gets the first real move in as he sidewalk slams Morgan into the mat. Bradshaw tags out already, bringing in Faarooq. The Rooqinator tries to attack Morgan, but cops a boot in the mouth for his troubles. The two slug it out for a bit more, before Faarooq is terrorised by a Powerbomb. Faarooq is eliminated at 4:04. Bradshaw comes rushing in after his mate is eliminated and crucifies Morgan with a clothesline from hell. Cover for the two count. Bradshaw sends Morgan into the ropes, goes for another clothesline, Morgan ducks and tags the Big Show in. Morgan bounces back off the ropes and then knees Bradshaw in the stomach after tagging in Show. Show lumbers in and shakes off a punch from Bradshaw, before throwing him by the neck into the turnbuckle. A couple of BIG FUCKING SLAPS on Bradshaw send him into recoil, and a big boot tops it off. Bradshaw tries to crawl to his corner, but is dragged back by Show. Show slams Bradshaw into the ground, before tagging in Jones. Nathan Jones walks in and stalks around Bradshaw, and when he stands up, he locks in a bear hug. Big ugly growling for Jones just seems to make the bearhug hurt that much more. After a bit more of Jones control, Bradshaw manages to tag in Kurt Angle. Angle comes into the ring and charges Jones with a shoulder block. Angle dominates the big man, before taking him out with an Angle slam a few minutes later. Nathan Jones eliminated at 9:23. Angle tags out to Bradshaw as Morgan comes back into the ring. Bradshaw goes for a sloppy punch, but it is blocked and he is kneed in the stomach. A big chokeslam (Shit, three people on this team use chokeslams?) ends off Bradshaw. Bradshaw is eliminated at 10:03. In jumps Chris Benoit to a large pop. He walks around the ring opposite Morgan, and the two lock up. Benoit manages to take control from the back (That came out REAL wrong) and hits a German Suplex on Morgan. He goes for a second, but is elbowed in the face, and Morgan locks in a rest hold. Benoit gets the claps from the crowd, and finally gets out of it, and a few elbows set up a Crossface on Morgan! Morgan struggles for a bit, before finally crawling his way to the ropes. Benoit drags him back, but Morgan then lifts Benoit up, still locking in the crossface. He slams Benoit down, and stumbles over, tagging in Brock Lesnar. Lesnar comes in to a chorus of boos, as he begins to stomp on Benoit's torso. Lesnar then walks over and taunts Hardcore Holly, before walking back to Benoit. He locks in a bearhug on Benoit's ribs, obviously the vocal point of his body. Benoit finally gets out with the clubs to Lesnar's head, and he tags in Hardcore Holly. The crowd errupts as Holly jumps into the ring and looks over at Lesnar smiling. Lesnar is shaking his arms, but Holly rushes forward and gives Lesnar the Lou Thesz Press. A series of lefts and rights from Holly put Lesnar on defence. Cena comes into the ring and stomps on Holly's back, but Benoit comes in and launches a clothesline on Cena. Holly goes to stamp on Cena a bit, but turns his back to Lesnar who then suplexes him backwards. Lesnar then taunts much to the crowd's dislike. He tags in Cena who begins to attack Holly, and continues to work on him for a good minute or so. The crowd STILL pop for Cena. After a bit of fighting, Big Show is tagged in by Cena. Holly then goes crawls over and tags in Benoit. Crowd loving Benoit before he gets socked in the face by Show. A bit of a beatdown from Show, before Benoit pulls a German out of NOWHERE. Benoit does the thumb across the throat and stumbles to the top rope. The diving headbut connects! The Big Show eliminated at 19:24. Its 3 on 3 now. Matt Morgan comes into the ring and picks up the fallen Benoit, but Benoit locks in a Crossface on Morgan. Morgan tries to get to the ropes, but has no choice but to tap out to the submission manouvre. Matt Morgan eliminated at 19:54. In comes Brock Lesnar to attack his firing opponent. Benoit goes to hit Lesnar, but is speared into the ground by a shoulder from Lesnar. Benoit slowly makes a fightbakc, and tags in Hardcore Holly. Holly comes in and straight away begins to attack Lesnar. Lesnar is beaten down for a bit before he gets back into is with a suplex. Lesnar sets up Holly for a big F-5 and it connects. Hardcore Holly eliminated at 23:02. I get the feeling Holly wasn't meant to be eliminated then as Holly looks as if he really got hurt. He manages to roll out of the ring and is taken back on the stretcher. Replays show he came down almost vertically. There goes his neck again. We are down to a two on two. In comes Kurt Angle to face Lesnar. The two slug it out for a bit, before Lesnar plants Angle with an F-5. Cover...but Angle kicks out! Good god. Lesnar locks in a bearhug on Angle, and begins to suck the life out of him. Benoit comes in to break it up and kicks Lesnar into the ground. Cena enters the ring and then tosses Benoit to the outside and he lands HARD. As Angle and Lesnar slowly rise, Cena stands there looking from one to another. Lesnar turns around and smiles at Cena, but Cena then lifts Lesnar up and hits the F-U! The crowd goes wild as Cena taunts Lesnar. Angle stands up and slaps hands with Cena. Angle tries to move off, but Cena won't let go, he drags Angle up onto his shoulders and delivers the F-U! The crowd is stunned. Boos now start to circulate as Cena exits the ring taunting the two wrestlers who are out in the ring and Benoit who is on the ground. Cena then walks off stage. Cole and Tazz have no idea what is going on. Lesnar crawls over groggily and puts and arm over Angle, getting the three count. Kurt Angle is eliminated at 26:08. We are down to two. Benoit crawls into the ring and sees Lesnar face down on the ground, Angle has been rolled out of the ring by the referee. Benoit, who has been beaten half to death then slides his thumb over his neck. He goes to the top rope and hits the diving headbutt! Lesnar kicks out at two! The two continue to lie there until Lesnar rises at the count of seven. He waits for Benoit to turn, and hits the F-5! Benoit kicks out! Lesnar lifts him up again, but this time the F-5 is reversed into a Crippler Crossface! After a good minute of struggling, Lesnar taps! Chris Benoit defeats Brock Lesnar at 33:12. Chris Benoit is the sole survivor. **** for a corker contest. It had everything, apart from the fact Cena was never eliminated. Be that as it may, Benoit was amazing, and I thought the push they gave Morgan was really good aswell. Great way to end the PPV.

The ppV Word - A very solid show, but the Buried Alive and Ambulance Matches were awful. Two title changes, 3H wins it again and Los Guerreros get a win. The two Survivor matches and the Cruiserweight match was worth the admission alone. All in all a pretty solid PPV, and you will get the extensive review later. Its been a pleasure writing out first ever ppV report for V Wrestling. Thanks.

Hardcore Holly Injury Update

Despite being a good match, Hardcore Holly went down with an injury as seen last night on the PPV. When Brock Lesnar gave him an F-5, Holly came down badly and landed again on his neck. Of course, the same move put him out of action for a year last time he fought Lesnar, and a big storyline between the two was planned. But it is understood Holly could be out for another 6 months to a year, effectively ending his wrestling career. It was Holly's big chance for a push to get revenge on Lesnar, but it seems that is long gone as he won't be in the ring for quite some time.

Rikishi, Jones released

The following from WWE.Com;

The WWE today released wrestlers Rikishi and Nathan Jones from their contracts. Rikishi has been with the company for over five years and has been a great servent, but unfortunately we could not make room for him. It was a mutual agreement for Nathan and us to part ways. Nathan wrestled on last night's Survivor Series, but that would be his last match. We wish both of them the very best in the future.

Raw Preview

WWE.Com Reports;

THE CHAMP IS HERE

With Survivor Series past us, we now have a new champion and an outright GM of Raw!

In a historic match, Triple H managed to defeat Goldberg to win back the World Heavyeight Title. Not without some help from his manager Ric Flair and the sledgehammer. Tonight, the new champion will make an appearance and no doubt Goldberg will be involved.

Also, in a brutal Survivor Series match up, Eric Bischoff's team of Mark Henry, Christian, Chris Jericho, Batista and Randy Orton overcame Team Austin to win Eric Bischoff complete control of the General Manager position. And with Steve Austin gone, what can Uncle Eric do?

And in the match that didn't take place at Survivor Series, its a 3 on 2 handicap match to face the Dudley Boys for the tag team titles. Can the Hurricane and Jon Heidenreich overcome all three of La Resistance to claim what should have been theirs two weeks ago?

For all this and more, tune into WWE Raw, Monday night on Spike TV!

OOC: I'm not sure if I will actually do this sort of thing, possibly from time to time, but any feedback on backstage stuff would be nice.

It has been just 17 days since businessman Ruory Tambling has handed the reigns in the WWE Creative department, and he and his booking team had just finished off what they thought was a successful PPV. But now Tambling and his creative team had to face Vince McMahon and several heads in a discussion over Survivor Series.

VM: Good morning gentleman, Ruory, pleased to be of your aquantance...

The creative department from the various shows nod to acknowledge McMahon at his table. Around him sit Linda McMahon, Jim Ross, Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon.

RT: Good morning Mr. McMahon...

VM: Please, sit.

They group sit down at their tables and briefcases snap open one by one. Tambling looks around the room and sees one unknown face... Me.

VM: Let us get straight to business, I didn't think Survivor Series was very good. There we two good matches, the Smackdown Survivor Match and Triple H - Goldberg. The rest was not good.

RT: What about the Cruiserweight match.

VM: You gave it eight minutes and there was nothing even Cruiserweight-ish about it...

RT: It had a good psy...

VM: Look, we have Cruiserweights for high flying stuff, not for 'psycology,' people pay to see big moves not thinking. Also, I enjoyed Brian Adams wrestling again...

RT: He was released this morning...

VM: Why on earth did you do that?

RT: We advertised it as one match only, why wouldn't we?

VM: These people don't listen...Look, all in all I wasn't too impressed, but seeing as you have huge shares in the company, I believe it is alright. Look, as a safety precaution, I have given you a co-head writer. This man over there.

McMahon pointed at me.

VM: His name is Adrian DeLuca, a long time friend of mine. He and I share the same vision. I am also apointing you two two secretaries. Adrian, you have met yours, Lauren Sophie Griffen. Ruory, yours is a man by the name of Rex. That is all I had to say.

Tambling looked a bit dirty at me as we shook hands. Somehow, I began to think this partnership wasn't going to work all that well...

-Survivor Series was a pretty solid show to me, as I said I didn't think it was too bad. Nothing groundbreaking from this side of the spectrum though, and 3H wins again. Lets see how tonight's show goes.

Oh and also, I managed to get tickets to tomorrow night's Smackdown...It better be good. Into...

The V Report for WWE Raw

The Duds in the ME?

Date: Monday, 17 November 2003

Attendance: 7504

-We get the highlights of the Raw side of Survivor Series, all the matches with the Survivor Series theme song. We finish off with Stone Cold walking out of the arena for the last time...

-Now we zoom out of a television to see Eric Bischoff standing near it smiling. The camera comes out a bit and the whole of Team Bischoff, plus Ric Flair is standing there. The Bisch is commending them all on a great performance, and tells them all that not only were Jericho and Batista stars for surviving, Mark Henry eliminated three people so he was good as well. He tells them all that their efforts deserve a reward, so he will do something for each of them at different intervals that he thinks they will enjoy. He talks about how once again Raw will be back to its best with Stone Cold gone from the WWE, and that tonight is a new beginning. And tonight will see Batista facing Rob Van Dam for the IC Title after a wonderful showing at Survivor Series. Flair and Orton congratulate him.

-Opening video and the pyros FINALLY go and we are here for Raw. JR and King are your hosts

-The Dudley Boys have their music hit and they come out to a rather solid ovation. As they walk down, Evolution's music interrupts and Triple H walks out with his men, title around waist. The Dudley Boyz aren't happy and they go and walk up to Evolution shouting at them. Orton and Batista attack the Duds, and send them into the side baricades. Triple H then continues to walk down, SPITS THE WATER AT THE CROWD, and then begins to talk...and talk...and talk. Whipee. Bill Goldberg apparantly is at home crying tonight, and therefore this is the Evolution show. As if we didn't know that already. He hypes himself up, saying that the title is finally around the waist of someone worthy, not around the waist of a person whos mother is a whore. That is TOUGH. Another water spit and we go to a commercial break.

Commercial break

Not here, the commentators tell us in light of the attack, Ric Flair and Triple H will take on the Duds in the main event. YOU'RE JOOKING ME!

-Maven v. Test

Maven mad. Maven angry. Maven beat evil Brian Adams the other night. I would rather be beaten with a stick then have to watch Maven try and work a match with Test. Pretty average match here, and Test doesn't look at all in sorts. Didn't these two have a match just a couple of weeks ago? Anyway, entire match is about how Maven is such a tough bloke to beat Brian Adams who has SOOOOOO much ability. Geez. Big Boot missed and a dropkick followed by a kick to the head wins it for Maven at 5:13. * 1/2. Maven then celebrates.

-Maven grabs a microphone and calls Al Snow out. What Does Everybody Want? AL! What Does Everybody Need? AL! Oh yes we do. Al congratulates Maven on his recent wins. Maven tells him that he has beaten everybody Al has thrown at him, and now he wants some of Snow. Who doesn't? I want snow...I love Snow... Al says thats a good idea. Maven tells him to fight him right here right now, but Al says he has a niggling shoulder injury and can't wrestle. He goes to leave but Maven attacks him from behind with the microphone and begins to attack his back. Al rolls out of the ring quickly and shouts obsenities at Maven. Good segment.

Commercial break.

-Rob Van Dam © v. Batista

Intercontinental Title Match. Nothing poor. But nothing groundbreaking either. Just a solid contest. Back and forth between the two Team Bischoff/Team Austin representatives, for the duration of the match. Batista really does look in good shape and seems to be getting stronger. Lawler and JR can't stop talking about how big Batista is here and it took away from the match a bit. Van Dam seems to be a bit disinterested. DQ ending comes Van Dam's way as Mark Henry attacks him at 8:12. ** 1/4, the crowd HATE that finish. Booker T runs in for the save. YAY!

-Bischoff comes down to the ring as everybody has a brawl. He says if they can't get along, he will make a Number One contenders match, with the winner facing Van Dam at Armageddon. That automatically rules Booker out of winning, unless some big swerve heel turn comes his way...But no...That would get him...OVER?!

Commercial break.

-La Resistance v. The Hurricane and Heidenreich

Handicap match. Winning team faces the Dudley Boyz whenever. Heidenreich is now dressed in green long pants, wears a cloak and has a red mask on. He is introduced as just Heidenreich to. My lord, he is a superhero. We all knew what this match was setting up to, and it was bloody awful. Grenier and Heidenreich was like watching Santa Claus rooting Nicole Bass. Just atrocious. After back and forth action, the ref is knocked out and out runs Rosey and another bloke dressed in all green. Rosey takes down Heidenreich with a shot from behind, while the bloke in green hits The Hurricane with an Emerald Fusion. Conway makes the cover on Hurricane for three at 8:21. * 1/4, as Grenier is poor and this was torture. Rosey and the other guy roll into the ring after wards and beat down on the two. Rosey is heard shouting this is just beginning.

Commercial break.

-Shawn Michaels comes down to the ring for an interview. Heartbreaking stuff. Pfft. Talks about how he gave it his all, but not even he can stop three men. He apologises to Steve Austin for not winning for him. He begins an Austin chant in the crowd but then the fire explodes from the sides of the ring and Kane walks down with the ugliest look on his face you will see. Kane says that he beat Shane McMahon, and he buried The Undertaker alive. But does he get any recognition? No. But the pretty boy Shawn Michaels does. Kane decides to teach him a lesson like he did to The Undertaker. Michaels is chokeslammed and then Kane goes under the ring and grabs a chair. Michaels slowly gets up and is hit in the face with the chair. Michaels bleeds like a bitch here and the crowd is not very fecken happy with Kane. Good segment and a good filler feud before the inevitable Kane/Taker feud.

Commercial break.

-Triple H & Ric Flair v. The Dudley Boys

Main event. Non title. No matter how old or how much he looks like he has tits, Ric Flair still has it. I don't know how, but the Dudleys put on a solid match against 3H and Flair, and HHH fought pretty well to. The Dudley Boys were hardly burried as they got quite a bit of offence here, particularly D-Von as Flair sold like a bitch. Most of the match they talk about how Triple H cheated to win the title, bugger all about how The Dudleys will defend against Grenier and Dupree whenever. I'm guessing Armageddon. Ending comes as Bubba hits a Bubba Cutter on Flair, but he's not the legal man. He turns, KICK, WHAM, PEDIGREE~! and is pinned at 10:27. *** 1/4 as this was pretty solid, best Dudleys match since the last TLC. As Triple H celebrates, Goldberg makes ANOTHER suprise return and spears the hell out of him and Flair. Goldberg does weird taunts and spits on everybody in the front seven rows as we go off air.

The V Word - Weakish show. Only the main event had promise and will give any enjoyment. Give me a while to find out who the bloke in green was and we knew Rosey would turn soon enough. Kane/Michaels will hopefully produce something good. Hopefully.
