Three days Grace - I hate everything about you

The white Stripes - Seven Nation Army

And I think that's pretty much it, I know parts of some songs (Guns N' Roses, Santana) but it's only a short part of the song, so nothing great.

If you look at the list, you will notice that most of the songs aren't that hard to play, so nothing impressive

What about you?

I figure out most stuff by ear but favourites include Mudvayne, early RHCP, Suicidal Tendancies and Every Time I Die. Great stuff to play and rock out in your room/on stage.

I just figured out War by Meshuggah. So yay.  :)

What ETID songs do you know?

They're fucking hard as hell to play by ear.

Guest Xecution

"Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple

"Island in the Sun" by Weezer

"Freebird" by Lynard Skynard

Some Green Day song I forgot...

Yeah I've only been playing for about 4 or 5 months. I'm probably going to quit though because lessons are expensive.

I am not going to put down Metallica's ONE, because when i learnt to play that solo, it was an acheivment, and seeing as so many people "know" how to play it now, it's not that specail, so it stys off the list.

Guns N Roses - Appetite For Destruction

Metallica - Black Album

Metallica - St Anger

Nirvana - Nevermind

Nirvana - In-utero

Pearl Jam - Ten

Rage Against The Machine - Self Titled

Red Hot Chilli Willies - Californiacation (album)

Red Hot Chilli Willies - Blood, Sugar, Sweat Magic

Red Hot Chilli Willies - By The Way (album)

that's all i can be bothered to list album wise, just the main few bands of the last 1o years. I know so many songs it's not funny.

For the people that say they can play Korn... do you guys have funky 7 stringed guitars? Or do you put your guitar into some strange tunings? Or are you playing some power chord-y stuff that sounds close enough to the songs? I'm just curious, I could never get any tabs that sounded like Korn.
