That was very much readable. Nice job.

A few words of further advice: if you do use a spellchecker, remember to proofread afterward, as there are typos that spellcheckers won't pick up. Case in point...

Juvi takes back control landing a stiff Brian buster

Shouldn't that be Brain Buster? :)

Although the blue is very easy on the eyes (compared to red or that horrible orange), you might want to only use it to highlight the bolded type. Too much color tends to subtract from everything. (and don't use the red or that horrible orange, they're eye-blinding)

In conclusion... and the Tony/Joey combination is interesting too. ("Oh My God!" "This is the greatest *whatever* in the history of our sport!")

I don't know what to say.

You killed it. Took XPW, and ripped its heart out.

You've made me cry, are you happy now? You've broken me down, and stomped on my dreams.

I'm going to go drink myself to death, and listen to old Hank Williams records. Thanks to you, I may kill myself.

I hope you are happy.

LMAO. While Syco's pouting, I think I'll comment. Feel free to steal any possible ideas. ;)

You might not want to call the Konnan/Juvi/MMW stable La Familia, as it makes them sound Italian. La Raza would be a better name, IMO (and Konnan's usual pre-match shtick would figure into it). Of course, if you wanted to turn them into a lame comedy stable, you could add LaGotto and have them all use Fiery Italian or Mafia/Underworld gimmicks. ;)

Triple Threat. Hmm. I don't see Dallas sticking around the group for much longer, but I like it.

Akio and NOSAWA, eh? Gabriel and Altar Boy Luke? The Asians vs. the Goths. You could bring in Kazushi Miyamoto and Altar Boy Matthew, turn it into a 3 on 3. Fun for all.

Anyways...my predictions, predicted winners are in bold type.

The SAT vs Jablonski Brothers( Tag Teams Collide)

The Jablonskis never seem to catch a break in most of the diaries I read. Why should that change? ;)

Nigel McGuinness vs Jason Cross ( Good Cruiserweight action)

Give it to the Brit! :)

Guanlet match 1: Sandman vs Dallas (Sandman’s Chance for a title)

I've never been too keen on Dallas, and it's commonplace to give the gauntlet runner some semblance of a chance at winning the thing. :)

Guanlet match 2: Sandman vs Chris Candido

(Sandman’s second match he wins and he gets his match}

I'm thinking interference of some sort. A massive amount, unseen by the referee.

XPW Cruiserweight title: The Amazing Red vs Juventud Guerrera( Battle for the gold)

Should be a decent match, but the Juice will probably come out on top.

Main Event 6-man Tornado Street Fight

CM Punk/Colt Cabana/Raven vs Terry Funk/ Sabu/ Tomoaki Honma

(The feud continues between CM Punk and Terry Funk)

Punk and Raven have had a pretty long standing feud, I'm thinking some miscommunication that'll strand poor Colt in the middle...

TROY MASKELL'S WRESTLING RECAP

What if they debuted a new wrestling show and noone cared? Welcome to the Recap, I am your party host Troy Maskell, the TRUE Fattest Man in Internet Wrestling Reviews Today.

Ahhh XPW, the bastard offspring of ECW created by disgraced Porn King Rob Black (That's a name made for Porn if ever there was on). It seems that a lot of things have changed for them and so I decided to catch the opening episode of XPW TV and then I was so touched that I decided to recap it...........because you ALL DESERVE to share my pain.

Let's go into it shall we?

We open the show with Joey Styles (ECW Ripoffs: 1) in the "XPW Arena" (ECW Ripoffs: 2 ) who's alone in the nest (ECW Ripoffs : 3) to run down the show for us all, for someone who doesn't like to be mentioned as ECW they sure use a lot of their stereotypes, just saying.

Anthony LaGotto V John Walters

LaGotto gets a "Tony Marmaluke" chant just heading to the ring (ECW Ripoffs: 4). Walters kicks it Old School to start, using his array of holds before hitting a delayed suplex but LaGotto does the All Japan sell job (Sure I'd be happy to sell your devestating suplex but first we'll fight and I'll give you a German suplex of my own and there we go) to take control. LaGotto unleashes ITALIAN VIOLENCE~! *cough* as some better known recapper may say then hits a missile dropkick. LaGotto blows.....something leading to a Walters Hurricane DDT for the pin. Like I care. 1/2*

Backstage it's time for a promo from the Leader of the Triple Threat (ECW Ripoffs: 5&6) and YOUR World champion Shane Douglas, I say YOUR World champion cause I would've left him in the gutter XPW found him. He badmouths the Sandman ("You've lost it. RETIRE SANDMAN" for fuck's sake did he take interview lessons from Sid?) and sets a gaunlet for him which we later is against Dallas and Candido. So you have a match with a drunk, a known drug user and a guy who's yet to show he's something OTHER than Useless, gee where can I get my tickets?

Asian Invasion V GOD Squad

God squad? What's next? The Holy Rollers? Anyway complaints about names aside, Akio and Gabriel kick it old school before Akio lands a martial arts kick on Gabriel and forces him out because you know, ALL Asians have to be martial arts experts. Matthew comes in and grounds and pounds Akio and hits the Halo for 2. Matthew then misses a blind charge to play Ricky Morton for a while. Nosawa tags in and does his usual shitty martial arts and hits a powerbomb for two, Whoopie Cushion misses allowing the hot tag to Gabriel, but Nosawa tags in Akio who hits a Dragon Suplex and the Yang Time finishes. Let's take stock, God Squad? Still not caring. Akio? Still misused. Nosawa? Still Useless = * and be happy with it.

Joey Styles announces that Vampiro is suspended and so tonight it will be Chris Candido V "The Juice" Juvi Guerrera. Sadly for me the stipulation is not "Bag of Crack on a pole" but then if that was the case Tammy would probably win it.

MEANWHILE La Famila (General Wrestling Ripoffs: 7) is gloating how they have a lot of gold. This leads to Konnan challenging someone for a title match next week.

Danny Doring V Kaos

This is for the XPW Television title, in case you like.....cared or anything. They start out basic before Doring hits a side suplex and pounds away but walks into a superkick allowing Kaos to LOAD UP THE PLUNDER! (ECW Ripoffs: 7. General Wrestling Ripoffs: 8 ) and ram Doring with a ladder and then slingshot him into said ladder. Kaos shows off allowing Doring to hit the BareBack for 2 but Kaos hits a low blow and the Kaostrify to win the title. This would be in Scott Keith's favorite catagory. Entertaining Crap, I on the other hand call it total garbage. DUD

Chris Candido V Juvi Guerrera

Speaking of Tammy. BY GOD! Some advertiser is missing out on a HUGE opportunity there. For the 4th time tonight they kick it old school before Juvi hits a reverse DDT for 2. Standing Moonsault gets 2 before Candido fights back with right hands and Headbutts. JYD LIVES! but then Candido walks into a Juvikick for 2. Missile dropkick gets two for Juvi before Candido reverses a rana into a piledriver for 2. Macho Chris Elbow gets two for Candido before Juvi fights back with a headscissor and the Juvi Driver retains. Match of the night at a whopping *1/4

Overall: Look I have $50. If I give it up can the Revolution NOT be Televised? XPW is a ECW ripoff merchant shortchanging hardcore fans who still yearn for the days of Paul Heyman's little promotion that could.

Ignore the hype. If you don't watch XPW maybe they'll just go away.

Don't think this is an attack by the way, I think it's a well written diary. I was just bored and wanted to do a recap, yours was just the first one I saw

I though the ReCap was funny, No, Run along, AND DO IT IN EVERY OTHER DIARY!!!! NOWWWWWWWW

But that would lessen their impact when I do them, when I do a recap it generally means I'm liking the diary. Let Dukes and Virch do every diary :shifty:

Ok I'm just really lazy

Bastard Troy.

You recap and unknown when you have a true blue WNA and MHALS member right here...

Anyway, a pretty solid start to this diary, only just read that show, I liked it, so I'll read the rest.
