Locker Room Scoops

- Jerry Lynn landed awkwardly on his head last night during as match with American Dragon at Field Of Honor, we expect him back but all of us at Ring of Honor wish him the best of luck and a speedy recovery.

- On the topic of injuries, Boogalou, one half of the Natural Born Sinners with Homicide, was in a car incident and has broken quite a few bones in his body, we dont expect to see him back ion Rinf og Honor for a long while, but we hope this doesnt affect his career in the long run.

- All 4 entries into Block B of the Field of Honor have been decided and are as following:

Eddie Guerrero - Entered because of the strong showing against Samoa Joe and because Daniels anted him to be in it before he left. Guerrero will be the biggest name in the Field of Honor and we expecta  lot from him.

Doug Williams - Replacing Christopher Daniels in the Field of Honor, Williams will travel over from FWA in England to wrestle for Ring of Honor, we have heard great things about Williams from English fans, and Williams will be here to show what he can do in the states.

Jay Briscoe - Jay did brilliantly at the first show in the 10 man scramble match and showed that he can do well on his own, and last night he also showed why he and his brother Mark get so much attention in the Indies. We look to see how Jay can so in the long run against big names such as Williams and Eddie Guerrero.

Low Ki - Granted Ki has yet to win a match, he still got the place because of the way the Ring of Honor fans react to him whenever he shows up and because every match he has been in so far he has produced a strong showing and always amazes fans with his unique arsenal.

- Teddy Hart, The Canadian Superman, has been pissed off lately that Red almost ruined his perfect record in Ring of Honor, of course it wont be going down that Hart has a loss yet but Teddy doesnt see things that way. The Amazing Red hasnt been to Ring of Honor offices and hasnt been seen since his tag match against The Briscoes, and its unlikely we will see him until the next Field of Honor show. Will Red accept Harts challenge?

- Also at the Field of Honor Block B show, we have signed American Dragon vs. James Knoble vs. AJ Styles to settle who will advance from Block A. All 3 men won 2 matches last show and Ring of Honor officials decided that this would eb the best way to decide a winner, to put them all together again and let them fight it out and let a winner be decided that way. These 3 men produced quality matches at Field of Honor and we are accepting possibly the Match of the Night and maybe even a Match of the year Candidate from these 3 talented individuals.

- Ring of Honor officials have made moves to bring tag team titles into Ring of Honor and there are rumours that the Tag Titles would be decided in a King of The Ring Style tournament, however other rumours are said to be a Round Robin is possible, while it isn't known how the titles will be decided, it is definitely something to look forward to with Ring of Honor having the tag teams that they do.

NewsWire

Monday 14th:

- After the altercation between Samoa Joe and CM Punk backstage at the end of the first 'Field of Honor' show, Punk has continualy asked for a match with Joe to prove himself, well until today we didnt get word from Samoa Joe and Joe accepted Punk's offer. So signed for the second 'Field of Honor' show is CM Punk taking on Samoa Joe in Punk's Ring of Honor debut.

- Two Texas Wrestling Academy up and comers approached Ring of Honor officials earlier in the day and asked to feature at a Ring of Honor event, the names of these men have yet to be released, but if they are allowd to wrestle in Ring of Honor then its speculated that they could be entered into the rumoured World Tag Cup.

- Speaking about the World Tag Cup, the event has been rumoured to be happening for a while and Ring of Honor officials have said that it is going to happen and that around 20 teams will be taking part in it from around the world. This event is a definite must see and is a great way to determine the Tag team Champions.

- The Ring of Honor debut show, 'Era of Honor Begins' is now available from www.RFVideo.com. The show went down very well, so if you either couldnt make it to the show or just wish to be able to see this historic event over and over then head to RFVideo.com for the show. Not only will RFVideo.com have Ring of Honor shows but they have Indy shows from all over the world from CZW to NWA:Wildside.

- The Field of Honor final is going to be a 2 out of 3 falls match to make sure that the best action and wrestling can be brought out of the match. The first matches stipulation will be decided by the Block A winner, the second by the Block B winner and the third by Ring of Honor officials. Of course this means that both men have a chance to participate in a match they will have an advantage in. This is a great oppurtunity for people to see what the Ring of Honor wrestlers can do when they get into the squared circle.

Tuesday 15th:

- IWA : Mid South have allowed Ring of Honor to hve CM Punk defend the IWA:MS World title against an opponent of RoH's choosing. The match is signed for the Field of Honor Finals show and we are expecting a great match from CM Punk and whoever is chosen.

- Ring of Honor officials decided on IWA:Mid South wrestler Chris Hero to challenge CM Punk to the title, the two will meet at the Field of Honor finals show and it looks to be one hell of a match for the IWA:MS World Title. At Hardcore Hell & Back 2001 the two teamed up with Danny Dominion and Ace Steel to take on 2 Cold Scorpio, Suicide Kid, Colt Cabana & Ian Rotten in a 1 hour 8 man elimination match. The next time the two met was when they faced each other at 'Simply The Best 2'. The 2 met again at the 2nd Anniversary show earlier in the year, this match is definitely a must see whether you've seen them wrestle before or not.

- The World tag Cup already has 3 teams entered into it, those being: The Spanish Announce Team, The Briscoes and two UK Wrestlers; Jody Fleisch and Jonny Storm. Storm and Fleisch arent an actual tag team, but will be teaming up to represent the United Kingdom in the World Title Cup. More teams will be announced in the next couple of weeks leading upto the actual event.

Wednesday 16th:

- Instead of actually getting a straight pass into the World Tag Cup, 4 Ring of Honor teams will have to fight for a place in the tournament, meaning only two of the four will get into the tournament. The teams being; The SAT, Divine Storm, York & Matthews and The Briscoes. Each team choose a member to represent the team as a whole and if that member wins, his team are added into the tournament.

- The Briscoes have contacted Ring of Honor officials and have said that because Jay would be in the Iron man match that night, Mark would represent the team against Chris Divine or a partner of his choosing for reasons as seen below. A member of the SAT will also take on either Christian York or Joey Matthews.

- Quiet Storm recently checking himself into rehab due to personal problems he didnt wish to disclose, of course Ring of Honor respected his decision and we look forward to him returning into the Ring of Honor. This, however, leaves Chris Divine without a partner, but Divine has been allowed to search for a replacement partner to the team of Divine Storm so that he can stay in the Tag Tournament.

- Ther 5/15 show at the Rex Center is going to feature the first Ring of Honor World Title defence. Nothing is scehduled yet, but look out for the World Title on he line at this event.

- Many wrestlers not involved in the Field of Honor have partitioned to be involved in The World Title match, including Samoa Joe, Mark Briscoe, CM Punk to name a few. Ring of Honor will look at all who apply and judge them equally.

World Tag Cup

- As was announced before, a World Tag Cup will be taking place where teams from all over the world will be entered into a tournament and will try to take home the Ring of Honor Tag Gold. We have 9 teams assembled for the event and below are descriptions about the teams signed to the event, about the men in the teams. Only the Brackets are yet to be set up and they will be done when all 16 teams are signed to compete.

The Spanish Announce Team

Joel and Jose Maximo have been together since and before the start of Ring of Honor and are probably the best regular tag team in Ring of Honor, they both bring an amazing innovative offence to their matches and each and every match is different because of the ability these 2 men have to make a match entertaining. The SAT are one of the four teams who will have to qualify for the tournament.

The Briscoes

The Briscoe Brothers are another great tag team that are destined for greatness. Unfortunately because of their ages, Mark can't compete in Philly, until his 18th, where a lot of our shows are held so the team isnt always competing. However, when these two do team up, the matches are always amazing and they have yet to lose a match as a team in Ring of Honor so look to them possibly getting very far into the World Tag Cup. The Briscoes are one of the four teams who will have to qualify for the tournament.

Spanky & Paul London

Both men are graduated from the Texas Wrestling Academy under Rudy Boy Gonzale's tutoring. These men haven't teamed together before but both of them wanted in on the Tag Titles shot and Ring of Honor oficials entered them as a team. Both men should be able to function as a team because they trained together and entered the business together. Also, on an added note, Spanky injured his tricep while wrestling a match for Jimmy Hart's XWF, Spanky will be out for a month or so but he has given his word that he will be back for the World Tag Cup.

Team UK

Jody Fleisch and Jonny Storm make up Team UK, both men representing Frontier Wrestling Alliance from England in RoH and they look to take it back to their home country. Neither man has wrestled in Ring of Honor before, but they will both be debuting soon so they can get a feel for what the competition will be like in the RoH World Tag Cup.

The Amazing Red & ???

Red recently teamed up with Teddy Hart, but that went to shambles so Red has been petitioning recently for someone to team up with him and go for the gold. No-one has accepted his offer to tag with The Amazing Red but when they do we will make sure to update you on it.

Special K

Special K are all about Raves and nothing will get them more attention for their raves  than if two of them were tag champs. We dont know what the actual team will be but they are limited to a combionation of Angel Dust, Brian XL, Deranged, Dixie and Izzy. At the last show Brian XL and Izzy teamed up for the 4 team scramble match, but the usual teaming was of Izzy and Dixie, but we dont know enough about Special K to see who would be the team.

The Backseat Boyz

Johnny Kashmere and Trent Acid are Combat Zone Wrestling workers and are representing CZW in the RoH World Tag Cup. Both men are a great tag team and work very coherently together, the Backseat Boyz are another team that are expected to fair well in the tournament.

York & Matthews

Christian York and Joey Matthews debuted way back when in Extreme Championship Wrestling, they are a team that has been around for a long tiem but have never been given the chance, the oppurtunity to make a real name for themselves. Winning the Ring of Honor Tag Cup could be the chance that they're looking for to elevate themself among the tag ranks of the world. York and Matthews are one of the four teams who will have to qualify for the tournament.

Chris Divine & ???

Divine Storm was originally entered into this until Quiet Storm felt it was best for everyone if he left for personal reasons and came back when he could compete to his fullest, so this left Divine without a partner, until yesterday. After petitioning for a partner, Divine was approached yesterday by a suitable partner and he is definitely ready to get on with the Tag Cup. Unfortunatly, Divine didnt tell Ring of Honor officials the name of his partner, so we'll have to wait for Divine to announce it. Divine and his mystery partner are one of four teams that have to qualify for the tournament.

Jou, I read this as you requested from me multipule times on MSN.

As I said on msn though...I don't follow Indy wrestling so I wouldn't be AS into it.

I still could follow everything though since you started from the start of RoH and just didn't toss a bunch of already started RoH stuff in there (that would have been the case if it was a current day diary)

The match results were a bit too long for my liking so that put me off, You write well...it's just not my perfered style of writing if i'm reading a diary.

With that said I'll tune in from time to time to see whats happening.

Good Luck.
