Hour 18

Day 1

1700 to 1800

BG James stumbled about blindly in the dark. Somehow, he had gotten himself lost in an exceptionally dark section of the hospital. So far, he had already walked right into a table, stubbing his toe. It wasn’t the pain that bothered him, but rather the psychological effect of walking headfirst into another object.

The hospital was getting just plain scary. It was bad enough during the day, but in the darkness, BG James was starting to shiver. He tried to console himself, saying that it was probably just his imagination, but the thought that somebody was following him wouldn’t go away. Beads of sweat started to drip down his forehead, as he struggled to find a familiar landmark. However, the more he searched for a way out, the more disoriented he became.

He heard another crash, the noise echoing off the empty corridors. This was all too much for him. Forgetting about Ron Killings and Konnan, BG James barged into the first room he came across and locked the door behind him. As an extra precaution, he pushed the bed against the door, effectively preventing anyone from opening it.

Gripping his shotgun tightly, he leaned against the wall, taking several deep breaths. He would wait here until daybreak, before trying again. Until then, he could rest here, knowing that he would be safe as long as his barricade held up. After all, what were the chances of someone stumbling into this ward?

Unfortunately, things in the hospital were about to heat up.

In a rickety old mansion resting on the south eastern edge of the island, Steve Corino waited. It had taken him long enough to get here, and he could easily spend the next few hours doing nothing but waiting.

He was leaning against a desk, gun pointed out the window. It was a Springfield ’03 Sniper rifle, the ones used by the allies during World War 2. He squinted through the scope, surveying the area for any signs of movement. So far he hadn’t seen anything, but he was patient. He could wait.

When the game started, his original goal was to find a place to camp and wait there, at least until the numbers thinned out. His first choice had been the residential area, but finding a house was harder than he had expected. He had spent most of the morning ducking into multiple alleyways, avoiding the other superstars. Even after he managed to explore the entire region, he was disappointed. None of the houses provided sufficient coverage of the area, and more often than not left him with multiple angles to cover.

Frustrated, he put the residential area behind him, as he began to explore the outskirts of the island. He wandered from spot to spot, trying to find a location that suited his needs. Eventually, he found one in the form of a deserted old mansion. It resembled the archetypical haunted house, complete with an overgrown garden and fearsome gargoyles sitting atop the roof. Corino didn’t care though, the sniping opportunity presented by this place was too good to pass up. After some effort, he managed to climb over the wall (avoiding the spikes that adorned it) and enter the compound. The door was locked, so he made his entrance through a window.

Pushing his way past cobwebs and abandoned furniture, he finally made his way to a room on the top floor, which overlooked the island. He smashed opened a window, pushing a desk in front of it so that he could have something to support his arms.

And then, he waited.

Tazz squeezed his mace tightly. So far, it had already given him one kill. Hopefully, it would lead him to victory.

He hated the game, he really did, but he didn’t have much of a choice. So in the end, he decided that he might as well go with the flow and play along. And once he put his mind to something, he was determined to do a good job. You weren’t going to get any half-hearted efforts from him. He would be merciless in killing the other contestants if he needed to be. When he played, he played to win.

Since killing Test, he was filled with confidence. Cracking Test’s skull was easier than he had expected, and he seemed to suffer from no emotional aftermath. Granted, his prey was already wounded, but if this was a rough gauge of how hard it was to kill a man, Tazz was sure he could finish the other 40 or so contestants off with little problem.

Suddenly, a huge hand wrapped around his mouth, preventing him from screaming. He tried wriggling his way free, but his assailant only gripped his arm tighter, holding him tight. He thought he heard someone whisper in his ear to be quiet, but he couldn’t be sure. Tazz continued to struggle, as he felt someone grab hold of his mace, followed by his kit bag. He couldn’t believe it. Not even a day had gone by and he was already going to be killed. He cursed his bad luck.

It would be over any time soon. All his attacker had to do was to snap his neck in one fluid motion and Tazz would be dead. He closed his eyes and waited for that moment to come, but nothing happened.

He opened his eyes again, and realized that he had been released. He looked around, searching for the people who attacked him, but couldn’t find a thing. Besides, it would be foolish to counter attack, considering that he was now unarmed. Instead, he would be better off trying to regain the supplies he lost – no small feat, considering he had lost his map and compass.

Just as he would about to set off, his would-be adventure came to an abrupt end as the bushes in front of him parted, as several figures stepped into the clearing.

Oh god..who the f*** was that guy who was gonna kill tazz but didnt?....whoever that person was, was STUPID! lol! Well cant wait to see more drama unfolding in the next update dude. YEAH!

My pick is Justin Credible and his goal to hog all the supplies and stay away from action... Then again, does Credible have a "huge hand"?

Alright folks, my exams just finished, and I'm now stuck with loads of free time. In other words, I've completed alot of writing today, except Hour 19, which happens to be the next in line. <_<

Meh, I'll probrably do it tomorrow, so you guys can pretty much expect a double (possibly triple?) update, featuring more 3 Live Kru...and Tazz. Doesn't mean they're related though.

With each update it gets better and better Gongsun plus you always leave us with a thought triggering cliff hanger which is applaudable. Whomever the several figures are there must be a pick for the winner in there if they can stick together...
