Mein Teil by Rammstein, what better song to put you in a badass mode then a tribute to a penis eating canibal?

This man knows of what he speaketh. That entire Rammstein album is arguably badass.

-I Could Care Less by DevilDriver

Echoed.

"Buck Dick" - Rammstein

"Otsegolectric" - Static X

"Otsegolectric" is off from Static-X's latest album, correct? How does it compare to "Otsego Undead" and "Otsegolation"? I have no clue if this is a song trilogy in works or something, but those two are great songs.

Yes, "Ostegolectric" is off of "Shadow Zone", but I personally didn't care for the song. It's kind of a bland, two-and-a-half-minute-or-so punk song. The past two Ostego songs are much better, although there are more than enough badass songs on "Shadow Zone".

"Pig Latin" "Sunshine The Werewolf" - Dillinger Escape Plan

"Solitaire Unravelling" "Sun Doesn't Rise" - Mushroomhead

Also, with no specific songs, check out At The Gates, Unearth and Meshuggah (they are all good, but I can't think of specific songs at the moment).

Some of the other stuff people mentioned that I like, like My Dying Bride, Katatonia, Opeth etc I wouldn't get for your mix, as they aren't really "pumping up" metal, as you requested. Worth checking out anyway...

Similarly, I didn't put any of my Death/Black metal in thier, as I don't think thats what you'd want. However, if you wanna check it out, get some Emperor, Immortal, Disiplin, Asgaroth and Zyklon.

This is all I got. I'm not into metal anymore really.

Dimmu Borgir - Puritania

Dimmu Borgir - Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse

Opeth - Demon Of The Fall

Slayer - Seasons In The Abyss

Oh, and if Reily comes in here and lists 10000000 bands with the name Dragon in it, don't let him fool you. He's the only person on the face of the earth that the Hobbit Metal makes them feel like a man.

I love that Slayer song. It's like a morbid version of the hokey-pokey. <_<

Anyways, about the music Reilly listens to, is it really what I think it is -- metal with lyrics pertaining to LOTR and whatnot? That's fucked up.

Yeah, basically, Power metal tends to be guitar virtuoso style guitar riffs/solos, high pitched vocals, and lyrics about fantasy and stuff (Blind Guardian have a lot of Tolkien-inspired songs).

It's not too bad though....I'm not a massive fan of the genre, but Dragonforce own. And you can't really deny the musical talent.
