edit: i downloaded GIMP and am tryin to do KyKy myself... i managed to cut the pic with the "fuzzy select tool" then opened a new document. opened the blank kyky base and pasted the pic on. however its showing it in greyscale... what happened???

edit again: never mind fixed. here's my first EVER kyky

i think its because when i edited the orton image, i copied a KyKy from a seperate GIMP document onto it. I solved it by instead of doing that<<< i click File-Open as Layers...

So basically this is my routine:

Open pic i need to put on the KyKy base, and set it to 150x150 etc.

Fuzzy select the outer edges, then invert selection

Cut, File-Open as Layers... and select the KyKy base

Paste

Fix it up.
