Season Four Finale of The Shield

I think the end with Vic walking through the streets was kind of to show that the old "kick ass and ask names later" Vic is back. It was kind of a lame way to do it, but I think that's what they were trying to do. And whenever Vic finds out about DutchBoy and Corrine, shit will hit the fan in a hurry.

That was a great episode last night, the scee with Vic and Shane alone and the way Vic just kept looking at him waiting for him to make a move. Dutch as usual was gold with his sopabox comment and of course macking on Mackey's wife, heh....So, how long till Corrine brings the kids by the station and they call him Uncle Dutch, or completely run by Vic and hug him instead? The ending was great with Vic walking down the street alone, if it means what I think it does then old kick ass Vic is back! :D

I loved last week's episode, I too enjoyed Vic watching Shane's every move. This makes perfect sense, considering that it was under similar circumstances they took Terry out in season 1. It's amazing how well they tie stuff together sometime.

Tonight's episode really had the feel of a transition episode, which it was. I don't know what to think of the way it looks like it's going to go, with Shane back under Vic's control. That's not guaranteed to happen though, with the ever remaining tensions (surely escalated) with Lem and Ronnie, as well as the whole problem of him being the leak that IAEA is investigating. I kind of have this feeling that it'll go down with them facing off against Antwan and Acevada (to a lesser extent).

I thought it was pretty good. I knew Vic and or Shane wouldn't end up shooting the other, but it was played out rather nicely. Shane, once again, needing Vic to clean up his messes, as usual.

Seeing Vic and Shane and probably the rest of the Strike Team trying to get that girls body back when their are always guards watching it should be interesting to see. I wondering how that guy (not sure on his name) that Army shot in the car will explain how he got shot. I doubt he will tell Antwon the truth as the way they talked it out, that guy and Antwon never were friends to begin with and he was the original person to take over the gang before Antwon returned. So I can see him not saying anything about it.

The scene with Corrine coming in and talking with Dutch just as Vic was walking in was odd to see. I am surprised Vic didn't say anything. It looked like he was looking right at them as they talked.

Is that money that Vic gave Corrine the remainder of the money train? They had enough to split it three ways between Vic, Shane, and Ronnie, so I take it that it is the remainder of the money.

I kind of figured Vic and Danny would get back together at some point, too.

The Aceveda storyline with that woman is still strange. The guy has some serious issues he needs to deal with.

Vic said right away that he had a "full plate", which led me to believe that he wasn't paying attention, with his attention directed elsewhere.

It seems like it will be back to business as usual, having to get results while covering their asses.

With Acevada I think they're using that storyline to show how the rape affected him, particularly now in his need to feel as if he is in power...even to the point of abusing it. I still have this feeling that somehow they go after him on something.

I'm siding with Matzat on this one, Dutch kicks ass. He's one of my favorite characters, and after all the shit that Vic has put him through, the hell he gave him in season 1, I'd love to see the look on Vic's face when Dutch is showing Corrine his "OH" face.

I'm not that upset over the lack of a new episode, as I'll have a 10 page paper I'll be typing next Tuesday night, so...

Pretty good episode. Shane comes clean to the former Strike Team about everything in order to get their help on getting Angie's body back. I knew the body would be moved, but didn't expect to have Antwon tell someone to do it. The guy (I can't recall his name for some reason) that Army shot in Shane's car didn't seem like he was able to tell Antwon about the whole thing, so I wonder what made him decide to move it.

The storyline with Scooby and Carl going missing only to turn up dead in one of the houses they took over before. I liked that Aceveda was out working with the police in this one. SHowed he still cared about his former men.

The homeless guy that Dutch and Claudette wound up with was interesting. I liked how he wanted to be called a detective. Seemed like an odd guy but knew what he was talking about.

I loved how the episode ended with Rawlings and Vic together in the interigation room with Antwon. Should be interesting how that plays out next week in the 90 minute episode. The preivews look awesome. It could very well be the best set of previews yet.

I can't wait for next week to see what happens with Shane and Angie's body. It looks awesome.

Next week's isn't the season finale, correct? It's 90 minutes, so...

Acevada out running around was funny. Great way to make him look like an even bigger piece of shit, as he wouldn't have done anything like that while Captain, but now that it's a big case and he's on the council?

At times it feels like the team is back together, but Lem and Shane's actions towards one another really make you think differently. Usually they hype up things that would be shocking (Vick shooting Shane), but I have a feeling that next week's may be delivered.

I'm really hyped for next week's episode. We won't have cable for another 2 1/2 weeks at my dad's place, which will probably be when the season ends.

Before finals week started I rented all of Season 3 dirt cheap, and man was there some good stuff. I really forgot how much I enjoyed the Decoy Squad being on there, and what they brought to the show. I wasn't able to finish the last few episodes, and forgot how it turned out, but Dutch having the computer with kiddy porn I found quite interesting.

I got to say, that was one of my favorite episodes this season, and possible all four seasons. Great stuff.

It sucks that Antwon is off the streets. He quickly became one of the best guest characters to ever enter the show. I really hope they don't end his storylines while he is in jail. Bring him back for season five. He's too good not to.

I loved how Rawlings would go to anything to get the cop-killers. By showing Antwon those graphic photos of his son getting it up the ass and beating. Even threatening to have him moved to a bigger jail where he would get raped and killed. I was shocked, and I loved it. I am not even sure Aceveda would go that far. But she has. This was certainly her best moment on the show. She and Antwon really worked well in this episode. The guy even began to cry during this episode. It looked real, too. He did an awesome job in that.

Not being able to find Angie's body was good. But neither did the other cops. So there is still a chance that the former Strike Team could dig up the body. I also liked how Lem was actually working with Shane to keep him out of jail. Punching that drug dealer in his room until he gave up the exact place was sweet. And how about Shane wanting to "make right" with the guys and save Army's ass and kill Antwon and head off to jail to protect them? I loved how Lem was all right with that. Shane and Antwon had an awesome scene, too. The emotion both showed was great. I loved how Antwon just hancuffed himself back to the chair and then Shane pulls the plug on the camera and looked like he was going to do it until Vic walked in. Now, it would have been awesome for Shane to kill Antwon, but I knew that was not about to happen. Shane is a big part of the show, and will be until the end, I am sure.

Good stuff with them finally coming clean about bugging Shane's car to Rawlings. And she also finally finds out who the leak was, too. And then showing Antwon it. Great stuff. I didn't like how he came clean so fast, but he did have a good point. He already said before how he had it all in jail. Pretty much the same as he had on the outside. So it was really no big deal to him.

I also liked the storyline involving Dutch and Claudette and the seriel killer. It was nice to see them show that clip at the beginning of him killing the cat. That was so odd to see. Now, this guy in the episode was on a previous episode, and surprising, they weren't able to catch him as the seriel killer, even with him pretty much lying about where he was. But he was smart enough to know that Claudette and Dutch couldn't keep their storys straight. I guess it shows that both of them are still not really on good terms even if it looks like they are at times. They need to get on the same page if they are ever going to stop that seriel killer.

How disturbing was that Aceveda and Sara (I think that's her name) scene? Not nearly as bad as him getting raped by the guy and getting it filmed, but it was still quite disturbing. And he realized that by gagging again like he did in the station's bathroom when he got back last season. Sick. Well, she is the only one who really knows what happened, as she pretty much felt what went on. Aurora knows, but not the exact thing like he, and now Sara, felt. And I guess he wants to finally gets his live back under control as he returned home.

And at the end, it look as if Lem is back on somewhat good terms with Shane. It seems like the original Strike Team, joined by Army, are back together. The Strike Team is awesome, so it's nice to see them all together. Well, Army and Shane need to still pass the lie detector test. It's too bad we have yet to see Tavon. I'd love to see him return.

Great stuff.

Okay, so tonight is the season finale of the Shield. The preview states that it'll be someone's last show. I hope it doesn't end up being Captain Rawling's exit. Yes. She might not return next season, but I hope that she isn't the one they are using as the person who won't return. That'd be cheap. I want to see them kill of a main character. So, any thoughts on who it could possibly be, assuming they don't end up having it jus mean Rawlings is gone?

it´s good if close goes, she was to much for this season, i heared they had to cut pirttmuch every danny and julian stuff (yes there was stuff that included them), this show is full wen it comes to characters and she fellt misplaced a lot of times.

I might think different if danny and julian would have been the two killed cops (that would have ruled hard) - but now i just see close going (uch a star on a tv show for several years ?) + danny and julian returning wich will feel wirred after they wer almost goon for this season...

every episode should have been 90 minutes.
